Here's your US Foreign Policy quiz for the day: Which of these militant organizations has the United States supported over the years? Marxist guerillas in East Syria (The YPG, The People's Protection Units, The Syrian Democratic Forces) Far-right Neo-Nazis in Ukraine (Ukrainian Security Services, Azov Special Operations Detachment) Islamic extremists in Syria, Libya, Kosovo, Chechnya...
  • @Mike Whitney
How does Putin escape the trap that has been set for him?

Putin has called the Russian Security Council together (today) to decide whether or not to "recognize the sovereignty" of the eastern part of Ukraine called the Donbass. (which is occupied almost exclusively by ethnic Russians) http://thesaker.is/putin-holds-meeting-with-security-council-tape/

If Putin agrees to allow the Donbass to reunite with Russia, then Russia will have to defend it against the 60,000 troops in the Ukrainian army that have surrounded the area and are currently shelling it with artillery fire.

As soon as Russian troops cross the border into Ukraine (to defend the ethnic Russians), the media will scream "Invasion" and all of Europe will fall in line behind US-NATO...

Nord Stream will be cancelled, and Washington will have achieved its goal.

How does Putin escape this trap?

I’ll take a stab at it.

Putin will declare Donbas/Donetsk to be autonomous zones similar to Kosovo. He will not invade, Putin will claim, unless the Ukraine attacks either region. As the United States did with Kosovo, Russia will gradually ensure the independence of the Ukraine even if the state is not realized at the United Nations.

Sanctions still will be imposed, albeit smaller ones than with an outright invasion. I suspect Germany has greenlighted this approach as the maximum allowed to keep Nord Stream Two viable. It would be nice if we still had actual media to see if this in fact is what is happening.

    Will it work? Dunno.

The serious danger, which is unspoken, is the madness could lead to a nuclear war. The psychopathology the dying empire has displayed probably makes it a temptation to strike first. Surely there remains some sane folks at State and within the MIC who can stop the insanity.

Even if there are a few sane individuals skulking around keeping their heads down within those institutions, the institutions themselves have long since gone fully berserk and there can be no stopping the insanity from within. (No more than it was ever possible to "be a moderate influence from within the Nazi party", the way many party members suddenly in 1945 claimed to have been.)

I have no doubt at all that when all other options look exhausted, and perhaps earlier than that, the US empire will let the missiles fly as a last-ditch attempt to prop up its power, rather than submit to the collapse of that imperial power. The empire's record gives zero reason to doubt this.

That's why the US government feels so comfortable behaving so recklessly: In its hive-mind it's already at peace with the idea that someday they're going to start WWIII. For them nuclear war is "imminent" the same way Christians say Christ's return is imminent: It's ready to happen the moment things are ready for it to happen.

(Unfortunately Putin, with his evident fetish of endless talking and begging for reassurance from the US, also has given the US neocons reason to believe that in the end the Russians will surrender, so that WWIII might not be necessary after all. This perception also drives US reckless belligerence. Putin's appeasement pattern, to the point that he's STILL babbling pathetically about the dead-on-arrival Minsk agreement, is in itself destabilizing.)

I will allow Putin may not appreciate the full extent of the Empire’s madness, and that elements of D.C. may be ready to take everyone out with them via a nuclear war. But I also watched the American response to Covid, and cannot but help believe the same people wearing face coverings as a religious sacrament probably are fearful enough to push back. This assumes some of the policymakers are in the Covid fear porn camp and could scuttle the plan, which may not be the case. As an aside, you are correct that Neocons are delusional enough to think Putin might surrender rather than turn their neighborhoods into glass.

Regardless, the United States is closer to nuclear annihilation than any time other than perhaps Andropov’s brief and ultimately fatal flirtation with the notion of a first strike.

I think that far more elemental than any proximate fear, those who became Covidian wingnuts were desperate to channel their massive free-floating fears over looming economic, social and ecological collapse into their extreme authoritarian cult of the state and scientism, all boiling down to total abject obedience, which they religiously believe will make everything work out all right.

If they were willing to destroy the bodies, minds and souls of their own children as a state-ordered sacrifice to the Covidian gods, they'll meekly, obediently, enthusiastically follow the government into a nuclear firestorm.

Trying to pretend that Russia has never attacked anyone, ever, is not helpful. There may be Finns still alive today who are eyewitnesses to the invasion of Finland in 1939. And John Wear did a pretty good job of making the case that an invasion of Germany was imminent had Hitler and company not prevented it by attacking them first. Russia is well over a 1000 years old. Of course they have attacked other nations.

That said, the USA certainly appears to be the instigator of the messes mentioned here.

Thanks, all true. Pretending Russia doesn’t have a history of invading other countries is ludicrous and detracts from an otherwise excellent overview. Poland, for example, has been invaded and absorbed into Russia several times, including the recent unpleasantries that led to the second world war.

That aside, it is clear the United States is desperate to stop Nord Stream Two from launching and is acting batshit crazy over Ukraine as a head feint. As Whitney and others have observed, the target audience here is Germany. As an American, the spectacle of D.C. doing its latest Chicken Little act is humiliating. Still, vaccinating children and even young adults is dubious at best. From all indications, this is due to lobbying from teacher unions. Promotion of vaccines that have minimal efficacy with new variants also should be explained and justified, and this has not been done. Blatant lying about largely ineffective cloth masks, and political manipulations such as vaccine passports and economic chicanery, have caused much of the mistrust.

As for side effects, while I largely agree with you (and the stroke/heart attack stats are very persuasive), those who have argued that long-term compromise of immune systems have made compelling cases and the rush to produce the vaccines precluded proper studies here and in other areas.

Over the past hour or two I've been down a rabbit-hole whose walls depicted the interconnections of "tribal use of private enterprise as if it were organized crime" with the added, painful, evidence that the "tribe" frequently uses non-tribalisms to accomplish their goals and commit their crimes.

(Spoiler alert: the stuff below is fascinating to me, but I'm typing this comment to record the statement found at the bottom of the rabbit: in 2018 a Jewish sophomore at Georgetown university complained that neither the president of the GU nor sufficient number of her classmates participated in a campus event commemorating the (alleged) terror event at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
    She wrote:

I am not mad — I know my friends here care about me. However, they do not realize that caring for me extends to caring about issues that affect the Jewish community, even if the events do not directly involve me. https://thehoya.com/viewpoint-mourning-alone/

The turf atop the rabbit hole was the Wilson article on Unz and the reflection that Jane Harman was former director of Wilson Center, coupled with a recent deep-dive into public influencers on right-wing terrorism (specifically, Who is inside Merrick Garland's brain?)

I'm impatiently awaiting delivery of a book co-authored by Israel-native and educated Arie Perliger, part of the Columbia Studies on Terrorism series. It's titled Jewish Terrorism in Israel, and opens with the claim that "Jews originated terrorism over 300 years before Christ, and ever since have been major practitioners of terrorism to achieve their goals; the "mythology" of those ancient zealots, carefully nurtured and passed along, became the "ideological cornerstone" of the Stern gang - Lehi, an ideology that contended-with (and overwhelmed) "socialist" or "labor" zionism in favor of militant or revisionist zionism with its reliance on violence and terror.

Perliger is also author of American Zealots: Inside Right-Wing Domestic Terrorism.

My simple mind formed the notion that Perliger overlaid on American "patriots" the characteristics of 2400 years of Jewish zealotry, and it is Perliger's time-warped brain-fart that suffuses Merrick Garland's thinking.

In an attempt to pin down a connection between Perliger and Garland, I came upon a talk by "terrorism expert" Bruce Hoffman at Wilson Center, https://www.wilsoncenter.org/event/book-discussion-inside-terrorism where he was introduced by Harman.

Hoffman is Director of the Center for Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University.

The Jewish Center at Georgetown is relatively new: Robert Lieber spearheaded the effort -- the demand, really, that a Jesuit Catholic university commit a center to the study of "history, culture and traditions of the Jewish people."
When GU president John DiGioia announced the establishment of the Jewish Center, he also
    announced

"that the Center has received a significant gift of $10 million from philanthropists Norman and Irma Braman to endow a program on the forensic study of the Holocaust. Their generosity will fund an endowed professorship and associated research, teaching and public service programs that will help to ensure that the study of the Holocaust, its origins, methods and consequences, retain a vital and ongoing place in the life of our University. . . .

The inaugural holder of the professorship, known as the Braman Endowed Professorship of the Practice of the Forensic Study of the Holocaust, will be the Reverend Patrick Desbois, a world-renowned historian and scholar of the Holocaust. Father Desbois’ previous and ongoing study of the Nazi genocide of the Jews and others has provided significant new insight into the conduct and outcomes of one of history’s largest crimes against humanity.

After starting his career with Seagram's Distributors (owned by the Bronfman family, bootleggers, holocaust blackmailers, and "(in the 1990s) the largest owner of alcoholic beverage lines in the world)," Braman parlayed his skills and wealth through his wife's family's retail stores, then pharmaceuticals, and finally, the Philadelphia Eagles, Marco Rubio, and an exotic car dealerships in Florida. In an rush of Tikun Olam, the Bramans settled .0037 of their net worth on a French priest who spins a yarn about Nazis shooting Jews-a-million in Ukraine.

And that is one example of how "whites" and Catholics have cucked to psychotic but super-wealthy Jewish zealots.

    Judas is green with envy.

The US military has become completely zionized under the watch of exemplary war profiteers Bush & Cheney. Here is your perfect Jews:

Doug Feith, the No. 3 man at the Pentagon before, during and after the invasion of Iraq, has come in for his share of the blame for the failures there–in large part because he led the Pentagon policy shop that badly misstated the case for war and bungled the planning for the aftermath…

Now Feith is showing just how dangerous he can be. He’s written a book designed to settle the score with his many opponents in the administration… It must have been very difficult being Doug Feith: correct all the time, and surrounded by idiots.

And this is General Tommy Franks’ honest opinion of Doug Feith, “the fucking stupidest guy on the face of the earth.”

By doing their usual “what is best for Israel” the zi0nists have been destroying the US morally and economically. As soon as zionists get power (by bribing and via other political “donations”) they begin weeding out American patriots from the position of influence: https://washingtonnote.com/pat_lang_lawren/

Colonel Patrick Lang [a specialist in the Middle East] told a hilarious story about a job interview he had with Douglas Feith, a key architect of the invasion of Iraq.

It was at the beginning of the first Bush term. Lang had been in charge of the Middle East, South Asia and terrorism for the Defense Intelligence Agency in the 1990s. Later he ran the Pentagon’s worldwide spying operations. In early 2001, his name was put forward as somebody who would be good at running the Pentagon’s office of special operations and low-intensity warfare, i.e., counterinsurgency. Lang had also been a Green Beret, with three tours in South Vietnam.

One of the people he had to impress was Feith, the Defense Department’s number three official and a leading player in the clique of neoconservatives who had taken over the government’s national security apparatus. Lang went to see him, he recalled during a May 7 panel discussion at the University of the District of Columbia.
“He was sitting there munching a sandwich while he was talking to me,” Lang recalled, “which I thought was remarkable in itself, but he also had these briefing papers — they always had briefing papers, you know — about me.
“He’s looking at this stuff, and he says, ‘I’ve heard of you. I heard of you.’
“He says, ‘Is it really true that you really know the Arabs this well, and that you speak Arabic this well? Is that really true? Is that really true?’
“And I said, ‘Yeah, that’s really true.’
    “That’s too bad,” Feith said.
    The audience howled.
“That was the end of the interview,” Lang said. “I’m not quite sure what he meant, but you can work it out.”
Feith, of course, like the administration’s other Israel-connected hawks, didn’t want “Arabists” like Lang muddying the road to Baghdad, from where — according to the Bush administration theory [specifically to the slob Wolfowitz’ imbecilic thinking]— overthrowing Saddam Hussein would ignite mass demands for Western-style, pro-U.S. democracies across the entire Middle East.

That was a story featuring the competent and patriotic American versus the incompetent and treasonous Israel-firster.

Russia was subjected to Jewish sadism last century. The Middle East has been suffering from Jewish sadism the beginning of this century. Next is the US citizenry – unless it comes to senses and restores the rules and rights of western civilization instead of following Talmudic rules.

From 'La Démocratie Victorieuse', E. Malynski, 1929

‘The nation which above all others claims to be free and in sovereign command of its own destiny was brainwashed to the hilt. In 1914 any American would have laughed to scorn the idea that in three years time he would be struggling and suffering in France for the sake of affairs which had no connection with those of his own country.

‘And yet, when 1917 came, the same man enlisted enthusiastically. Every soldier whom we happened to interview and questioned as to his personal motives for fighting, invariably replied: 'we are fighting for democracy'. They were one step ahead of their fellow soldiers from other nations, who went for their own country's sake.

‘It is only when we realize that France was invaded by hundreds of thousands of inhabitants from Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Illinois, Wyoming, California, Louisiana, and subsequently from Ontario, Manitoba, Rhodesia and New South Wales, whose only possible motive was to hasten the triumph of democracy, that we begin to understand something of the power of Israel. The power to stir up a whole nation of solid, egotistical and utilitarian individuals, and to persuade them that their greatest privilege is to set out and get themselves killed at the uttermost ends of the earth, with no hope of gain for themselves or their children and almost without their understanding against or for whom they are fighting, or why, is a simply incredible phenomenon which makes one afraid when one comes to think about it.’

Tens of millions of the 3rd world have poured across our borders since 1965 lowering our national IQ & with it a massive lowering of competency. We have two generations of Whites now born & come of age with an unrelenting campaign of anti White vitriol from academia & the media against them that has left our under 40s psychologically defenseless against the onslaught. Even IF by some miracle we could gain control of the banks/media/academia/immigration, it would make little difference. The rot is now to intrenched. The moral decadence, depravity & nihilism is engrained to deep. The catastrophic demographic transformation now to vast. The disunity to all encompassing. No, the America we once knew is gone & it is NEVER EVER coming back. A breakup now is inevitable.

Problem is that he is an old man with too much power, which could prove deadly for a Covid-weakened population. Biden is clearly out of his depth. We can thank Dr. Jill for forcing him to run., when she knew damn well that Old Joe wasn't up to the job. Jill must have wanted to be First Lady very badly.

Biden clings to his irrational hope of vaxxing everyone in the country (except illegal aliens, who are exempt). Maybe Joe even believes, in spite of all evidence, that only the unclean unvaxxed are spreading this deadly plague. Trump, now recently Boosted, is starting to sound just like Biden. He's even lost Alex Jones and a good part of his MAGA base. Remember communism? Back in the day it attracted many zealots because it promised a better world, a more just one where people could reach their full potential unburdened by exploitation. Utopia beckoned but there was always some group standing in the way of achieving this and so had to be gotten rid of. The drive for a better world ended up with gulags, executions, persecution. They claimed the ends justified the means but in reality the ends are always simply an outgrowth of the means. Today we have this 'woke' religion, a form of group cult-think, which also makes extravagant promises that can never be realized. Large swaths of the population have become believers in this fairy tale cult. The political class are generally far removed from everyday reality. The lives of average people are just a theory to them. The president himself has always been in politics as his hustle, never holding a real job as an adult outside of that. It's reported that drug overdoses are the leading cause of death for 18-45 yr olds. Inflation is ratcheting up. We may be sleepwalking into armed conflict over NATO expansion. Yet this lamebrain keeps going on about how everyone's going to die agonizing deaths this winter unless they get their twenty shots of holy water. Just more divisiveness and scapegoating; we'd be in paradise if only groups xyz weren't impeding progress. This really can't have a happy ending.

Communism started out as a violent social revolution, expropriating all kinds of private property from which profit was derived and confiscating almost all private wealth. After three decades it has evolved into a system under which a Communist managerial class, much better paid than the average Soviet citizen and with many perquisites of office, ran the state-owned factories, mines, railways, banks, and other enterprises, including the collective farms.
Slave labour in Soviet Union began on a large scale when about a million families of kulaks, or richer peasants, were dispossessed in the drive for collective farming in 1929 and 1930. A large number of these kulaks, men, women, and children indiscriminately, were thrown into freight cars and shipped off to timber camps and new construction enterprises.
Other groups swelled the numbers of this huge forced-labour system. Among these were dissatisfied nationalists in the Ukraine and other non-Russian regions, Communists who had been purged, persons suspected of foreign contacts and of too-active religious sympathies. Later, slave laborers were recruited from other sources.
There were mass roundups and deportations from Eastern Poland and the Baltic states and other regions occupied by the Red Army. There were considerable numbers of German and Japanese war prisoners. Some minor Soviet republics (the Volga German, Crimean Tartar, Kalmyk, and some administrative districts in the Caucasus) were dissolved during the war because the people were not considered loyal to the Soviet regime. Many of their inhabitants were sent to forced-labour concentration camps.
So a vast network of slave-labour reservations, which no independent foreign investigator has ever been allowed to visit, mostly located in northern Russia and Siberia, developed under the direction of the political police. Serious students of the subject estimate that there may have been eight or ten million human beings in the Soviet labour camps.
The conditions of the food, housing, and sanitation, and the excessive overwork are appallingly inhuman, according to the testimony of a number of individuals, Russians and foreigners, who had escaped or who have been released. Mortality was very high. The methods of punishment made African slavery in Arabia humane.
An additional trait of Communism is the capacity and willingness to commit atrocities (in the full sense of that much abused word) on a scale that makes the most ruthless and oppressive governments of the nineteenth century seem positively humanitarian. First of these was the “liquidation of the kulaks as a class”, officially decreed in March 1930. Under this procedure hundreds of thousands of peasant families whose only crime was that they were a little more prosperous than their neighbours were stripped of all their possessions and impressed into slave labour. Many perished as a result of overwork, underfeeding, and maltreatment.
Second was the man-made famine in the Ukraine and the North Caucasus in 1932-33. This was not an unavoidable natural disaster. It was a deliberate reprisal inflicted by the government on the peasants because of their failure to work enthusiastically in the collective farms. Several million people perished in this famine. This was reflected in subsequent Soviet census reports for the Ukraine. A death rate of 10 per cent was normal in the very wide area affected by the famine. Death by starvation is slower and perhaps more painful than death by asphyxiation.
Third was the establishment of a vast system of slave labour as a normal feature of the Soviet economy. This system was far more cruel than was serfdom in Russia before its abolition in 1861 or medieval Europe or slavery, just because they were completely dehumanized.

I am not here to downplay the appalling conditions suffered by the inmates of Soviet gulag, which were far worse than under the Czars or than Arabian negro slavery. But most of deaths that can be attributed to the Stalinist system occurred during the course of WWII, on battlefields and in besieged cities such as Leningrad, and then during various episodes of the initial Civil War that secured Soviet Power at its initial phase. The Soviet prison camp system, horrible though it was, at no point of its history housed more people than the American one did at the same time under Roosevelt and did again from the Clinton era onwards with the introduction of Three Strikes and you're out schemes and the private prison for profit system. Another important fact to underline is that most of the Gulag inmates, more than 99%, were not dissenters of any kind : they were highway pillagers for the most part as whole ethnic groups had thrived for centuries through banditry only, or hooligans that had decided to make a living out of pilfering : idealistic characters were so few in relative numbers (though all too numerous in absolute numbers) that one of them had very few chances in any gulag to meet any like one. Most inmates were hardened criminals of the worst kind of the kind that are still celebrated as heroes in Chechenya, or of the kind you can find among American Blacks in prison.

  • Kennedy’s history of the mishandling of the pandemic makes the emergence of the Omicron variant quite ominous. Omicron is highly mutated in the spike protein in ways that seem coadapted for transmission efficiency. When virologists try to connect Omicron to the phylogeny of all the other SARS-2 variants, it sticks out like a sore thumb, i.e., it doesn’t fit.

If Omicron evolved naturally, it would be considered a saltational event. Saltation is a largely discredited evolutionary concept which postulates that a whole set of coadapted traits can arise in a descendent almost instantaneously. Biologists think such scenarios are unlikely at least in organismal evolution, and that coadapted traits are built up gradually.

Either Omicron derives from saltational evolution, an unlikely event. Or it was laboratory created/selected and intentionally released. Wrap your head around the implications of the latter alternative.

From all indications, and the propaganda outlets want to avoid the implications, Omicron is not a deadly or dangerous variant and most cases are extremely mild. Why would a variant that is not a medical concern be the one engineered and released?

To be clear, I think the virus initially was either accidentally or perhaps intentionally released, and am leaning more toward the latter these days, but a variant this mild actually argues against the Covid regimes that have been put into place.

Exactly. Again, as horrifying as it was when Cuomo and Co. stuffed Covid patients into nursing homes killing tens of thousands, the suppression of HCQ and IVM probably killed hundreds of thousands and the acquiescence of established and respected publications and institutions such as The Lancet is maybe the worst abuse of power in modern history. As Dr. Peter Jackson noted in the Rogan interview (which was excellent), even to this day physicians are not being told how to deal with Covid patients to prevent them from going to the hospital, which was ostensibly the reason for “two weeks to flatten the curb.”

Some have suggested that Covid will prove to be the United States’ Chernobyl. It certainly has been the medical industry’s.

  • – HCQ and IVM research was suppressed by Gates and Fauci.
    – HCQ and IVM are cheap and safe and if used early on could’ve saved 80-60% of those that died of covid.

That last bit is really the takeaway from Kennedy’s book. I get that Ron had a light switch moment, or at least it seems, with the HIV/AIDS fraud (which has been known for more than 30 years now), but the suppression of the then-available therapeutics was the flashing red light. Those of us who have taken HCQ, patented as “Plaquenil,” for autoimmune disorder knew immediately they were lying when warning about the side effects. HCQ was prescribed to treat RA and lupus precisely because of the low incidence of adverse effects, which I don’t think Kennedy emphasized enough although he addresses it. Dr. Peter McCullough really has been driving this home. There are literally hundreds of thousands dead because…reasons. You are more likely to be harmed by aspirin than HCQ and IVM.

One thing Kennedy has done quite nicely is make it clear that gigantic scientific hoaxes funded by trillions of dollars and a willing mob of “scientists” ready to sell out for grants and/or fame is not in the least implausible. And the exact same dynamic is at work for “climate change.” Proponents are richly rewarded, grant money flows in an endless river of billions every year from both governments and corporations, dissenters are condemned and silenced, and the media and Big Tech refuse to provide a platform for alternate voices. • On a personal note, I knew something was seriously amiss when Fauci and other public health officials denounced use of hydroxychloroquine as a therapeutic against Covid, claiming among other things it was a dangerous and harmful drug. While I lack the expertise to evaluate hydroxychloroquine as a Covid therapeutic, I knew immediately the claim it was “dangerous” was false. Like millions of others, I had been treated with the drug to combat an autoimmune disorder. Under the patent name “plaquenil,” it was prescribed precisely because it had so few side effects and offered great relief to people with RA and lupus and other immune disorders. The conventional wisdom is hydroxychloroquine can be somewhat effective as a therapeutic if administered very early. The claim it is dangerous is a lie.

Every therapeutic or at least potential therapeutic was batted down with such ridiculous claims early on. Why? Why were they not at least tested? Unz can dismiss as unhinged the claims Covid was exploited to tighten the grip of totalitarians, but that is plainly what happened. As the vaccines increasingly prove to be marginal at best, and the mandates prove to be actually unhinged, this is a case of attributing to incompetence what should be attributed to actual malice.

As to AIDS, and I have not yet read Kennedy’s book and he may have covered this aspect, Fauci was a malign actor whenever anyone in any profession strayed in any manner from his preferred narrative. He orchestrated a campaign to memoryhole the book THE MYTH OF HETEROSEXUAL AIDS and to destroy its author, Michael Fumento, an author and attorney who had studied mass hysteria and epidemics. You can see the bind in which this book puts the establishment advocates. BKJ is a true prince of the beloved dynasty that continues to rule one side of our political dichotomy. Normally, those princes and princesses declare a position and the rest figure out how to follow. Moreover, BKJ has spent his life going after the really bad guys, the corporate polluters. He's defied the New England judicial system in going after prominent figures close to his family.

If this book isn't substantially debunked, it will gradually shape liberal opinion toward Fauci, the CDC, big pharma, modern health care financing and university guided research. It will eventually rub off onto the current administration for its slavish devotion to all those other entities.

    It's a big deal.

This is a good discussion by Derb and the commenters of the “what” but not the “when.” Achmed mentions “time is short” and he might well be correct. About a year ago, a fellow I know moved from a blue state to Europe. Smart guy, Harvard Law grad, for what that’s worth. What unsettled me is that he didn’t simply move to a red state, because he is old…would he not think that for his remaining lifespan, a red state would be safe? But no, his assessment was that the unthinkable might very well occur within his relatively short life expectancy. It is time to incorporate into the discussion the possibility that “time is short.” Possibly VERY short.

This is the most important comment in the thread. It succinctly highlights the consequences and realities of what Cole and Derbyshire have written.

It is important to live in a jurisdiction where you will not be prosecuted locally for political and thought crimes. But that is just a bandage. As your smart friend apprehended, this revolutionary madness probably will engulf the entirety of the United States. Safety in numbers and by distance will exist, and Cole wildly understates that fact, but the protections will be at the margins. If a White person has the means and ability, and only a few do, relocation to mainland Europe/Russia is a very good idea. I have to exclude Britain and the rest of the Anglosphere because the same mental virus has spread quicker than Covid there as well.

I had the same opportunity as your friend to relocate to Europe several years back but unlike him I was not smart and made what seems to be a very bad decision and one I would reverse if possible.

"So here’s the lesson, fellow peasants: Don’t help the authorities!"

Indeed. Ironically, if Bryan had left all his electronic devices at home, and the McMichaels simply killed Arbery with no attempt at a citizen's arrest then dumped his body at, say, a secluded body of water 15+ miles away it's highly unlikely there would have been much of an investigation, let alone a trial. As it stands, the verdict on this case is a very helpful reminder that LEOs and judges don't exist to carry out justice or even preserve order, but to prosecute citizens the state targets. Act accordingly.

    Replies: @Achmed E. Newman, @Anon

Exactly, Drew. That’s what the most White men paying attention have learned from this.

Regarding the “justice” system, back in late Winter ’20, neither the D/A from Brunswick, Jackie Johnson, nor her replacement (once she recused herself) out of Waycross, George Barnhill, brought any charges on the 3 men.

Because they did not, Jackie Johnson has already been arrested, and George Barnhill may be indicted next. There’s no running away from this sort of thing if you live anywhere in which you could get involved in anything like this. Local justice is not allowed to operate normally, if it’s against any major Establishment narrative.

The oligarchs will not be able to exploit this virus to the extent they intend, but many innocents will suffer in the interim. Most people are cowardly but currently content, their bellies full and their houses warm. As that changes, and brown-outs occur in the dead of winter and food becomes scarce, these same timid herd animals will join those already in the street. Even now, the mass protests in Europe threaten to become riots, which then will lead to revolutions. We may be on the verge, God willing, of seeing governments toppled. Before it reaches that point here, Fauci, Gates, Buffet and the rest will be offered up as human sacrifices to forestall revolution but the die has been cast.

I suggest impalement as a better remedy, the stake in the shape of a syringe.

When Spartacus defied the Roman law and system, 5,000 of his gladiator army were crucified along the Appian (?) way from Rome to Capua. Without an ort of data, and contemptuous of cartography, I'll say that's a distance of 100 miles, so the crosses would be spaced by 100 feet along the way, or 200 feet if planted on both sides of the Roman road.

Now I will suppose that it's about 100 miles again from Lexington to Washington, DC. However, we have many, many more treasonous usurpers and yes-men to execute, so the impalement spacing will have to be much closer, say about three feet if both sides of the highway are utilized.

Fauci and Gates are not enough. We have not only 99+% of Congress but thousands of school boards, thousands of hospital administrators, CDC, Google, FDA, idiot doctors, lying politicians.... If we go full Jacobin then anyone who promoted this crime, the most malicious and deadly of all time, will be impaled along the road. A person can survive for up to seven days on the stake, time to teach the world a lesson.

These make perfect forums to deal with the big things, being camouflaged in the normally most hostile terrain.

You are correct this has been a technique for a long time, and it predates the especially egregious example of Fleet Street crossing the Atlantic to propagandize for American entry into World War I. Covid locks you in, freezes your economy, destroys your business, wrecks your mental health, strains your relationships, drains your savings, empties your stores, disfigures your society, conditions you to be unnatural and, now, if you don’t agree to be vaccinated, threatens to isolate you (even further) and starve you to death, as charmingly decreed by that Olympus of human rights, Noam Chomsky, plus a host of others.

It had been obvious for some time, but when Chomsky went after Trump supporters, the downtrodden people he had claimed to champion, he formally transitioned from hypocrite to State Stooge. He now has arrived at kapo. Chomsky is reflective of the entirety of the Western Left in this regard although he milked his pose in a particularly effective manner.

That out of the way, right, Lihn. Arguments about the virus and the vaccine distract us from what has been done and accomplished in the name of Covid. The United States has been a dictatorship for some time now, with clownish agents such as Chomsky serving as a pressure valve, but it has dragged the rest of the so-called “Free World” into hellish, totalitarian depths Orwell could not have hallucinated. Whether the virus was intentionally released (likely) or not, it has allowed the masters of the evilest regime in human history to seize power and wealth in ways that stagger the mind. That it took almost twenty months before the pushback started at an appropriate level is amazing. Totalitarian regimes have been toppled over far, far less, but this one is so horrific it will not go gently into the night. We remember how, during hurricane Sandy, NYC residents defecated in their own apartment hallways, without even the sense to attempt the simplest measures of sanitation.

It would take only one US city destroyed by a nuclear weapon to turn the entire nation into a panicked murderous free-for-all. From coast to coast, all store shelves would be bare, basic utilities and LE would be abandoned, and the streets would be filled with marauding bands of murderers and thieves (even more than there are now, that is.) Bulk of Americans can be duped into anything. It's amazing and frightening how stupid and childish white in western nations are in these modern times. Decades of post-war easy living with good jobs and wages and kids with too much time for rubbish entertainment influences has generated a debauched decadent dumb-downed populace especially in the younger generations. Cultures or peoples have historically have considered self-preservation as something worth or necessary to go to war over to preserve. Sadly today most Europeans have no connection to that and instead downright welcome the destruction of our culture and way of life by this third world invasion and attack on our heritage. Sadly many support the rights of the invaders to come on in and take over. China Taiwan should be the last problem or enemy that the U.S or any western nation should be worrying about. Perhaps the west should should respect that some nations rightfully find western immorality such as LGBT, trans, feminism as repulsive and detrimental to society and not seek to spread such manure.
Most of these countries that Washington has problems with simply find what mega-western companies want to introduce into their societies as unacceptable and that upsets those elites that profit from promoting that garbage.

Excellent account, Ron, even if truly depressing; it certainly is better written than many of the sources you cite. Discussion of what happened to the USS Liberty was confined to the fringes for years. If memory serves, The Liberty Lobby was taken out for all intents and purposes after a poorly sourced albeit accurate article about the attack appeared in a magazine it published, THE BEACON (I may have conflated groups and publications here but think that is correct; if not, someone please correct it). A hit piece written by Drew Pearson and Jack Anderson soon thereafter claimed the Liberty Lobby had close ties to the Klan and neo-Nazis and is widely suspected to have been the result of payola from ADL. Among politicians, it is hard to think of any who was more vocal about the USS Liberty and any who was more vilified over it than Pete McCloskey. Google his name today and you would think he was a staffer at Stormfront.

I don't know what to make of the World War III claim but the sacrifice of US service members to justify military action not only is an open secret it is stated policy in the case of Korea. My research has led me to believe Johnson's real target actually was Nasser but the Israelis jumped the gun over fear of exposure of the atrocities the IDF was committing in the Sinai. World War III certainly could have happened if the Soviets began a land invasion in Egypt.

The stories about the submarine USS Amberjack and its role (according to some it even fired a torpedo against USS LIberty) and the Soviet destroyer and its role as the providential savior are fakes. They must have been planted and injected into the narrative to sow confusion and diversion from the role of Israel once the cover up was no longer possible and the "Remember Liberty" movement was getting traction. The same goes for the nuclear weapon aspect which was the counterpropaganda 'nuclear option' to blanket everything what Israel did with the evilness of America. It was all made up by the 'friends' of America in Tel Aviv and Moscow on behalf of American nincompoops who will eat up anything as long as it has anti-authoritarian and anti-government angle. The experts in Lubyanka and Tel Aviv know very well what kind of dish to cook for Americans.

In 1967 the US and its Deep Sate were still a very reluctant ally of Israel. The belief in evenhandedness in the Israel-Arab conflict was still strongly believed by many in the State Dept and in LBJ administration. Nobody in the US wanted to escalate the local conflict in which the US was not participating to the point of war with the USSR. The recall of planes by McNamara happened when it was still believed that the attack was being perpetrated by Egyptians. The motive was not to embarrass Israel but to avoid escalation with Egypt that could get out of hand while the war was winding down and both Jordan and Egypt already on June 8 agreed to the ceasefire,

The stories about the submarine USS Amberjack and its role (according to some it even fired a torpedo against USS LIberty) and the Soviet destroyer and its role as the providential savior are fakes. They must have been planted and injected into the narrative to sow confusion and diversion from the role of Israel once the cover up was no longer possible and the “Remember Liberty” movement was getting traction. The same goes for the nuclear weapon aspect…

Some of what you say is probably correct, but other elements are mistaken.

There was certainly a sub involved with the Liberty, maybe the Amberjack or maybe one of a couple of others. There are claims floating around regarding the role of the sub and also the alleged involvement of a Soviet ship, but most of that seems like speculation or wild exaggeration, and quite possibly the disinfo you suggest.

However, none of that relates to the eye-witness testimony regarding an American attack against against Egypt, which seems absolutely rock-solid. And there are also many who state unequivocally that the attack was going to be nuclear. I just watched the four hours of the Sacrificing Liberty documentary, and suggest you do the same, since the fourth hour includes several individuals providing their on-camera accounts of the alleged planned nuclear strike, and you can assess for yourself whether or not they seem credible. You should also watch the 2003 BBC documentary available on Youtube for the same reason.

Having now seen this on-camera testimony, I’m somewhat more persuaded of the reality nuclear attack claims.

The Amberjack was definitely on the scene that day.

As for the alleged torpedo it fired that struck the Liberty, although sworn to secrecy at risk of court martial (or worse), Amberjack crewmen that day were not all conscience-free.

They knew a torpedo had been fired.

Moreover, when Amberjack returned to its home port in Kings Bay Georgia or USN Submarine Base New London Connecticut (or wherever it was operating from in 1967), the naval Quartermaster (in charge of resupply and replenishment of munitions), would've noted that the Amberjack was down one torpedo.

Of course, torpedoes are also expended in training exercises (Note: no such exercises had been conducted involving the Amberjack in any period even remotely close to June 1967).

There existed numerous naval personnel that would've been in a position to know that Amberjack had fired a torpedo in the eastern Mediterranean and maybe, just maybe, some of them have spoken (anonymously) in the last 54 years.

    Just sayin' ....

Mention of the US submarine, even if there wasn't one there to witness the attack, raises again an early niggling doubt that struck me. How likely was it that a very high level Israeli like Dayan would count on
    (a) destruction of h the Liberty with no survivors, and so that no tell tale evidence would be found;
    (b) no submarine or aircraft around to observe the attack?

No problem if the Israelis had something really incriminating on LBJ, perhaps.

I don't buy the atrocities argument. Murdering captured troops and civilians is old Zionazi practise, praised by the Talmudists as mitzvot. The Western MSM, even then, would have denied it as 'antisemitism', even though it was a lively subject of disputation inside Israel ever since the similar massacres in 1956.

    Replies: @Oscar Peterson, @One-off

No doubt the media would have obfuscated or ignored the atrocities story as happened with the Liberty attack. The problem was not the domestic American audience. I’ve thought about it quite a bit and the atrocities would have been easily exploited by Nasser, who was a key leader of the non-aligned movement, which terrified D.C., London and Tel Aviv because his secular Arabism had gained real traction at one point and the non-aligned movement was tilting slightly toward the Soviet Union, which arguably was at its imperial height in 1967. A good case can be made that the USSR’s power was greatest from the time the Hungarian Uprising was put down until the Prague Spring the year after the Liberty attack. Some would extend that to 1975 and the communist victory in Vietnam, but the decay had set in by that time.

American atrocities, real and imagined, in Vietnam had rallied much of the non-aligned world against it. Its puppet/puppet master’s atrocities in the Sinai would have furthered a narrative that weakened Israel and the United States. The world had changed dramatically between 1956 and 1967 and not in Israel’s favor. Yes, the United States was now Israel’s bitch, but large swathes of the globe had coalesced against the Jewish state.

I’ve read some accounts–and yes, I’m skeptical, too, that the massacres in the Egyptian Desert were rogue and spontaneous. I cannot completely discount that. Regardless, it was not a good time for them to become public knowledge because Israel had achieved in 1967 what it could not in 1956: the seizure of the Sinai. It had to revert to its tried and true tactic of playing victim and knowledge about the massacres (Ron may have understated the case because there are reports villages in the desert simply were wiped off the face of the Earth) would have given the Soviets a freer hand to intervene on behalf of Nasser. This aspect doesn’t get the attention it deserves but the Six Days War easily could have led to a n all-out nuclear war, and that’s not taking into account the remarkable American bomber claims.

  • Excellent account, Ron, even if truly depressing; it certainly is better written than many of the sources you cite.

I don’t know what to make of the World War III claim but the sacrifice of US service members to justify military action not only is an open secret it is stated policy in the case of Korea. My research has led me to believe Johnson’s real target actually was Nasser but the Israelis jumped the gun over fear of exposure of the atrocities the IDF was committing in the Sinai. World War III certainly could have happened if the Soviets began a land invasion in Egypt.

    Again, great piece.

We have to recognize that Tito was a complete pawn of Stalin, the murderer of tens if not hundreds of millions, and that Communist Jews have never stopped apologizing for Stalin nor have they ever apologized to his victims. The Serbs not only destroyed Yugoslavia twice with their lust for domination, but they also played a major role in the outbreak of both World Wars for Judea.

Dinko Šakić was commander of Jasenovic until 1944, his wiki page has a few revealing tidbits:

"Šakić is reported to have personally taken part in killing and torturing inmates.[2] Eyewitnesses stated that he shot prisoners numerous times, often killing for sport those who were sent to work in the fields surrounding Jasenovac."

LOL. Funny how Jews always claim that the labor camp commanders loved "killing for sport". Or course it has to be true, we saw it with our own eyes in "Schindlers List".

"He [Šakić] showed no remorse and stated that Jasenovac was not an extermination camp but a work camp designed to hold the enemies of the NDH, whom he claimed were treated in a kind and benevolent manner. He claimed that no killings had occurred during his command. He maintained that the camp was organized to hold those complicit in the "Serbian genocidal policies" that he claimed were implemented against the Croats from 1919 until 1941."

The entire planet got a taste of "Serbian genocidal policies" during the Civil War of the early 1990's. We know this is true. We also know about the crimes against the civilian population of Yugoslavia, and the butalities committed against the Donau Deutsche by Tito and his band of murdering rapist communist "partisans".

Here is Šakić's statement to the Croatian ((kangaroo)) court:

I am proud of what I did and would do it again. Jasenovac was a legal institution based on law, where all those proved to have worked for the destruction of the Croatian state, and who had been dangerous for public order and safety, were interned. Considering the duration and population of the camp, the death rate was natural and normal. If we shot people, we did it on the basis of the law. There are no states in the world that don't have prisons and camps, and somebody has to perform this thankless duty. I regret that we hadn't done all that is imputed to us, for, had we done that then, today Croatia would not have had problems. There wouldn't have been people to write these lies.

Actually no, it was for Croats, Slovenes, Albanians, Hungarians, Italians and Germans.

    Konz-Lager Jasenovac (Jesenovec)

Jesenovec township lies in middle Croatia, at the entrance of Una tributary in major river Sava. This best known Croatian Konz-Lager via the falsified propaganda of antifascists and liberal-leftists became the disreputed 'Jasenovac': By their uncontrolled and unprofessional reversing of all related data, antifascists and liberalists falsified not only the shortened duration and inflated victims of this camp, but even falsified its name alone. The war and post-war history of that Konz-Lager was recently documented in details by Ljubica Stefan 1998:

    1. The original Croatian (Kaykavian) name of this site was Jesenovec (listen: Yessenovets), and actual false-propagandist 'Jasenovac' is its artifical-serbized variant (Јасеновац) and not original name of local Croats.

    2. This camp was not at all allegedly closed by Tito 1945, but it evidently continued to work intensely in its same site up to 1948; also its late closing was formal and in 1948 it was immediately translocated to disreputed Goli Otok camp - working up to 1990.

    3. In its secretely prologed function (false declaration was 'closed'), Jasenovac was subsequently in 1945-1948 misused for post-war revenge with torturing and massacring of 40,000-50,000 Croats (now falsely added in back as Serbs killed in war).

    4. This later anti-Croat massacres in Jasenovac became a strong taboo up to Yugoslavia's disaster 1990, when the related documents and survived witnesses became accessible: but mendacious leftist and antifascist propagandists till now repeat their former political fabrications (on its closing 1945, false name 'Jasenovac', any killed Croat, but 'million' or more massacred Serbs and others there). There is probably no any other Konz-Lager in World with so abundant falsified fabrications, as is now this missnamed 'Jasenovac'.

Just as the Judeo-Communists of the Red Army massacred thousands of Polish officers at Katyn in April 1941 and then blamed it on the German Army at Nuremberg in 1945, so did the Jews and Serbs of the Judeo-Communist Partisans murder many thousands of Croats, Slovenes, Albanians, Hungarians, Italians and Germans at "Jasenovac" and then blame in on the Croatians. The murder of Jews and Serbs at "Jasenovac" is just one of those typical Jewish projections perpetrated by their most useful idiots. Serbs, like Russians, who pride themselves in being Slav (Slave), seem to be the most easily and completely mislead by the Hebrew.

    https://youtu.be/RGZQqoH7tsw

Just as the Red Russian Rapist Army massacred all the officers of the Polish Home Army (Armia Kajowa or AK) after the war, so did Tito and his "partisans" massacre the Mihailović's Chetniks, and so did Mao massacre Chang's Nationalist Chinese officers. In all three cases, the same thing happened after the war, and was deliberately ignored and even encouraged by Truman and Churchill.

Whereas the Chetniks and the AK were actually fighting the Wehrmacht and SS during the war, Tito's Partisans were terrorizing civilians and trying to stab the Yugoslav resistance in the back.

In Poland, Communist Poles and Jews in the ZPP were doing the same thing, terrorizing civilians and fighting the AK, while avoiding the Wehrmacht and SS in the same cowardly fashion.

Of course the same pattern repeated in China, where Mao was not fighting the Japanese, but only terrorizing the peasants and fighting with Chang's armies.

After the defeat of Germany, the German labor camps in Poland and Croatia were turned into slave labor and torture centers used against anyone who had "collaborated" with the Germans.

Even if someone could find heaps of bones in "Jasenovac", one would have to be a fool to believe Serbs and Jews who claim that they weren't Croation, Italian Hungarian and German.

    6. These examples show that once you start the job, you should finish it. If you don't - the job will finish you in 50 years time. That exactly what this article is showing to us.
    7. Next time, and that time is approaching, Russians and Serbs should finish the job. Because every time the West attack, we are left with millions of dead. We don't have capacity for that game anymore. We have to end this.
PS. For the "author": Jasenovac camp was for Serbs. Jews were more the collateral damage there, to please their German masters. • Excellent summary, and despite some obvious bias, largely accurate as far as I know.

The aforementioned bias may have caused the omission of a major reason the average Afghan went from opponent of the Taliban to at a minimum acceptance: Wokeness in all its depravity was found more repellent than Islamism. This strange and foreign religious fanaticism was disliked. Afghans had warned State for years that LGBTQ promotion, to cite one example, was outrageous to their countrymen and not acceptable. But the West’s new religious fanatics discounted what they were told. The fact that bacha bazi flourished once again after the United States chased out the Taliban was a frequent complaint

Again, great work despite that major omission.

A peace-time desk-bound Pentagon officer, claiming to be an expert on macro-economic trends. Puhleeze. Don't insult people's intelligence.

That "3-5% growth rate" is a feel-good bed time story. The consensus of most economists is for China to continue with compounded growth in the 6-7% range for a very long time still. Hey, Chinese are still only at 30% of Americans by real per capita income - a WHOLE LOT of room left.

Milley? He was trying to downplay reality as a form of "cope". The American people probably sleep better at night for it. That's our military, with that endearing can-do attitude, misapprehending the strategic situation until it bites us in the ass. ("The Afghan insurgency can be defeated").

If anyone will strike first in the Pacific, it sure as hell won't be China. Nope, it'll be the highly-competent, ever-confident American military. Sort of like a cross between Pearl Harbor and Barbarossa.

But you gotta stop and think: How did those surprise aggressions end for Japan and Germany? Kick ass for the first year of the war, end up losing a war of total annihilation they started.

The church my sister attends sends money to help the poor in Appalachia. The last church I attended was long ago. It was in Florida and I got so sick of them sending money to Haiti and parading Haitians around that I left. About a couple of miles right down the road were some pretty rundown areas where lots of poor Whites lived in squalor. This was a few miles outside of Tampa. Long distance philanthropy to these nonwhite ingrates has to stop when you have Whites who need your help right in your backyard.

I was once a regular visitor to a website that Greta Van Susteren had at the time. Very nice lady by the way. Susteren was totally impartial and committed back then to free speech the way Unz is today. I remember asking her about her and Franklin Graham worrying so much about helping out poor Haitians or southeast Asians when right in Franklin Graham's backyard there are plenty of poor Whites.

You will NEVER see Blacks or other nonwhites helping out poor Whites at all but you will see wealthy Whites give to nonwhites particularly Blacks exclusively while neglecting their own White brothers and sisters. Boggles my mind. I HELP MY OWN FIRST AND FOREMOST. I have helped poor Blacks when traveling through Port-au-Prince and I saw Blacks off my ship rip off poor Haitians and laugh about it. It was nothing for me to hand a Haitian a twenty and walk off, however, my own family ( the White race) is who I help first.

This times a hundred. Look at any response to a disaster. The non-White faces can be counted on one hand. That will put into swift focus how little non-Whites care for humanity, even members of their own Tribes.

  • Until people accept biological reality, actual science for the ignoramuses who claim to fucking love it, they will operate under the delusion genetics play no role in black dysfunction. These Whites in dirt poor Southern West Virginia are in fact racially superior than wealthy blacks in, say, Montgomery County Maryland and far less prone to violence than them.

All the equity in the world will not erase the genetic predisposition of blacks for dysfunction, and no one knows this better than the Jews who use them as biological weapons against Whites, who they try to poison with opiates in places beyond their claws.

I found this quote in a post on this site and it's so good I copied it and retained it

"Abraham Lincoln could not see the forest for the trees.
He had but one obsession preserving the union, but was to stupid to understand that you cannot preserve a union by force, you can only take a prisoner.
By definition you can’t create a union by war, you can only take the unwilling partner prisoner (arguably making him a slave), against his will.
Which is why we’re in a second civil war. Because the union was never preserved, because half of the country didn’t want and still does not want the America that Lincoln's racial policies were domed to create, the horrors of which we see playing out today. "

At the end on my trip I visited the last campsite of the Confederate generals near Appomattox
My favourite quote from General Longstreet
" When men volunteer to fight in their countries cause they should be credited with faith in it's righteousness and with expectations of meeting soldiers worthy of their mettle.Appeals to turn their strength against women and children and non-combatants are offensive to manhood , demoralizing in influence and more likely to aggravate and prolong the war spirit than to open ways of order and amity."
It certainly leaves Grant, Sheridan and especially Sherman in a bad light and can be applied to most war since the civil war, as more and more armies target civilians.

The problem with the white west is we have lost God so idiots like Northam and many others worship blacks , money , Jews and the LBQT mob instead, it why they are so lost.

The US supposedly went in to get Osama. Since he's been officially dead for ten years now the goalposts have been continually moving. Lately it was Afghan women's rights and whatnot. When US supported warlords overthrew Najibullah and took Kabul there was a great loss of life as they fell to fighting each other yet there wasn't all this media anguish about it then. The US wanted a puppet state with a subservient government and army where it could place its military bases so as to threaten the region. Didn't work out, blood is thicker than water.
One sinister element in all this appears to be that the US was attempting to use this occupied captive country as a test tube experiment whereby they were working to engineer a cultural change within their society. The conquerer was trying to replace the existing values with its own set which it arrogantly felt the lesser people should embrace. It tried every propaganda trick, enlisted psychologists and anthropologists as advisors, paid out huge amounts of money to compliant hirelings, terrorized and bombed the others. It was a reign of bribery and intimidation. What it learned here could then be refined and used elsewhere much as color revolution techniques were developed and used. The Afghans were too obdurate, apparently.
Whatever one thinks of the Taliban they certainly are brave, going against jets, bombs, missiles, drones, tanks and the much hyped American special forces with hardly anything at all but guts and willpower.

How many more lives, American lives, is it worth, how many endless rows of headstones at Arlington National Cemetery?...American troops cannot and should not be fighting in a war and dying in a war that Afghan forces are not willing to fight for themselves...I'm clear in my answer. I will not repeat the mistakes we've made in the past. The mistake of staying and fighting indefinitely in a conflict that is not in the national interest of the United States".

Let's hope he remembers this the next time the neocons/neolibs in his admin pushes for another war. And it's also freaking time to pull out of Iraq and Syria, as well as shutting down the 700+ US military bases around the world. We spent $2 trillion over the past 20 years fighting the Afghanistan war, with 2,400 American service members killed. We trained 352,000 soldiers in the Afghan military, giving them some of the best military equipment in the world. The estimated size of the Taliban military is 60,000 to 85,000 soldiers, but at any moment in time they could field only 10,000 soldiers, with only 2,000 to 3,000 of them highly motivated. So, we spent $2 trillion to fight an army of 2,000 to 85,000 illiterate peasants and lost. We then spent a fortune training 352,000 Afghan troops, who likely outnumbered the motivated Taliban more than 100 to 1, but this U.S. trained Afghan military lost in one week, in a complete rout. The Taliban blitz actually has very little in common with the North Vietnamese 1975 offensive, which was a conventional military offensive carried out by a professional army (the NVPA) with very little Vietcong guerrilla activity. The Taliban spent many years taking countryside around cities, recruiting from local tribes, and suborning warlord militias. They therefore didn't have to launch an offensive with huge columns of easily interdicted vehicles. They just moved in on the cities from the surrounding country, after having already prepared the ground via family connections, tribal elders, and promises of immunity (which they have largely kept). Soldiers with zero faith in the foreign imposed puppet regime, led by a foreign citizen, had no intention of dying for it. Unlike the defeated and routed ARVN in 1975, the so called Afghan Army didn't have to be defeated; it just refused to fight.

It will be interesting to see if the Ghani regime makes a last stand in Kabul, and what happens then. My bet if that happens is on a military coup to remove Ghani and open surrender talks.

    Correct.

The closest parallel here is the first Evil Empire’s humiliating retreat from Afghanistan closely resembles the second Evil Empire’s running away. For the MIC Afghanistan was a smashing success as it gave it a steady revenue stream for 20 years, but for the overall Empire this is the beginning of the end. Look for China to absorb Taiwan, and a frontal Iranian assault on Israel, to be followed by the dollar being replaced as the reserve currency and the United States dissolving.

  • The parallels between the United States and the late Soviet Union are eerie. The upside is the USSR collapsed rather quickly and peacefully after its humiliation in Afghanistan. The downside is the monsters and sociopaths in D.C. will lash out at its people as soon as they know the grift is over and Israel is about to fall, too.

Heritage Americans need to familiarize themselves with what happened to the Armenians when the Ottomans knew their empire was crumbling. The difference is Heritage Americans remain a decisive majority.

The most likely scenario is China perfects its EUV technology in 2030, the by 2040 surpasses ASML sending them into bankruptcy by beating them to the next level, beyond EUV

TSMC goes out of business, the chips they are making are still the same ones they are making today, constant brain drain and competition has killed them along with the incompetent government failing to invest in the next gen due to handouts in exchange for goods

Another omission, which actually would have strengthened his point–is the Banana Empire’s ruling class has not had skin in the game since 1945 (and very little even then). The prospect of economic losses, let alone nuclear war, probably would cause TPTB to sit this one out. But, of course, the Jews and Puritans are insane, too.

To wit, even though the United States in now a grubby Third World police state, Conservatism, Inc., feels compelled to defend its anti-constitutional, anti-human rights system. The old line about conservatism being the shadow that follows the Left is absolutely true. Conservatism, Inc., now is dedicated to the protection of this totalitarian state and will remain so until it implodes (which now seems poised to happen sooner rather than later).

As for National Review itself, it really no longer is relevant in any meaningful way. Perhaps it remains an avatar for its failed ideology to a few, but that’s generally not the case. My own analysis of America's current political dynamics is entirely different than Murray's, and perhaps should be taken quite seriously. • The tragic irony for the US is that the “whiteness” it seeks to distance itself from is the very foundation from which emerged the dynamic that propelled it to the top of the global pyramid.

In my view, what had made America “great” was a result of the synergy of ethno-European identity, creativity and drive unconstrained by the pettiness of European nationalism and its suicidal wars.

It is thus no coincidence that as “whiteness” declines in the US, so does its ability to distinguish itself in any positive way that signals domestic health and effective global influence within a morally defensible geo-political framework.

Current events are the best evidence. Irreconcilable domestic divisions and rapidly waning international influence is now the norm. Moral and financial debauchery have become America’s chief export with bombs to follow for those who refuse the Faustian Pact of exchanging their national identity and ethnic heritage for eternal debt slavery and the short-term gratification of “Western values”, i.e. drugs, sexual dysphoria and rap music. Further, US foreign policy can easily be seen to reflect a devastating inversion from competition to anti-competition.

The brief and temporary transcendence of European nationalism that represented America during its period of greatness has now been replaced by the pettiness of racial squabbling, toxic identity politics and corrupting, competing interests that only serve to further divide a leaderless and ever more confused and uneducated “white” population.

There is no future for “white” America. Nor can “white” America ever be reconstituted in its original form.

The future for “white” Americans lies not within US borders. It is abroad or within a strongly defended region with its own sustainable infrastructure and control over its own media and information channels.

The goal would be the author’s personal destruction.

Can you tell us what exactly that “valuable” “Health” research contributed for prevention and later curtailment of the present pandemic?

I believe you to be educated enough to already know the answer, and it is irrelevant to the trolling disguised as moral posturing practised by "chrimony", "Sean", and the other obvious professional trolls.

Gain-of-function was officially performed first in Holland in 2011, and has been since most likely practised by every nation possessing the adequate lab facilities.
    https://science.sciencemag.org/content/336/6088/1534

So the "Virgin-horrified-by-China's-GOF-research" posture practiced by some is both uninformed and out-of-date; they are lagging by 10 years.

Aside from its other, secret and criminal application to acquire bioweapons, there is an obvious positive medical aspect to GOF, recognised by medical professionals. It allows virologists to be ahead of viruses, in that they can map their possible future mutations and prepare public Health policy protection measures in advance.

although there was no attempt to achieve a consensus, no disagreement was voiced to the repeated claims of various presenters that in the short term GoF research is helpful for adapting viruses to growth in culture and for developing essential animal models for emerging pathogens, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), and escape mutations to understand drug resistance and viral evasion of the immune system

Page 30 "4 Potential Benefits of Gain-of-Function Research." Institute of Medicine and National Research Council. 2015. Potential Risks and Benefits of Gain-of-Function Research: Summary of a Workshop. Washington, DC: The National Academies Press. doi: 10.17226/21666.×

It is a matter of opinions, but it is also certain that moral posturing has no interest or relevancy in matters where clearly a compromise decision has to be made, weighing the benefits against the risks.

Is nuclear energy bad? Yes, for those interested only in developing WMD and incompetent at managing nuclear wastes (the USA for instance). No, for those able to deliver a clean, carbon-free energy and with an impeccable and proven safety record (France).
Yet, I meet all the time with childish moral virgins who are against nuclear energy and carbon emission, but still want their homes to be lit and heated for cheap, all year long, without adding to global warming. Well, in the real life, there is no free lunch.

The same principle applies to GOF. It is easy enough to figure out why some would have wanted to develop epidemiological models in advance , considering the catastrophic s**t the world found itself in since Covid19 struck.

Did not France supply material and technical assistance to Israel in its nuclear “energy” development. Both have used this source of “clean” energy to make nuclear weapons. Both have enemies and are trending towards more civil unrest, and those “clean” reactors will always be targets by enemies foreign and domestic, not to mention an angry earth. So how anyone in the world can wave a flag of pure comfort and confidence in France’s nuclear energy program escapes me.

Fact is, with the triple reactor meltdown at Fukushima in 2011, the odds of a nuclear core disaster have increased from one in ~70 years to one every ~seventeen. And eventually they may be going off like popcorn on the stovetop.

Meanwhile, considering the rate and scale of genetic engineering, molecular biologists have lost all morality. For fame and money do they race ahead, not morality. Mistakes and malfeasance on the grandest scale are certain. Deployment as weapons too…

If you think the nuclear physicists put humanity in a fix, just wait until the genetic engineers catch up.

It certainly did in the 1950's, first under the watch and control of Jewish Prime Minister Pierre Mendes France, and then under Prime minister Guy Mollet, who was a ardent Zionist militant.

This support was reversed and entirely stopped under General De Gaulle, thanks to considerable support and influence from President Kennedy.

However, Israel operates no nuclear power plants. All its nuclear production was/is dedicated to the fabrication of thermonuclear weapons.

The Fukushima accident was caused by a long-identified human error, by hubris and corruption. It would have been easy to avoid if an outstanding technical recommendation to relocate emergency generators had been followed.

The production of energy by nuclear sources is clean and carbon-free; it has a bright future and will not go away.

There is an unresolved investigation into the Indian end of the research now because there appears to be concern Gain of Function might have been used. I think lab security is the main problem.

A simple failure of containment of the bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan lab was always the most likely explanation for the origin of the global pandemic given the propinquity, which only a highly intelligent overthinker could avoid seeing as most significant. Gain of Function adding to the human to human transmissibility is less certain but still not unlikely. It is no surprise that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had inadequate adherence to containment of pathogens, because US diplomats who had been proudly informed about Shi Zhengli’s latest discoveries of Chinese bat coronaviruses had American teams repeatedly visit the Wuhan institute up to and after the BSL4 lab was built by French billionaire businessman Alain Mérieux under an agreement for joint operation that the Chinese went back on as soon as they had the lab set up. The workers there told the US experts in 2018 that the Wuhan BSL4 facility lacked enough qualified people to operate it up to the stipulated safety standards.

But for six years our website had been publishing a wide variety of extremely controversial articles on all sorts of different subjects, and we had never had any problems with either Facebook or Google.

Then in late April 2020, I published my first long article laying out the substantial evidence that the global Covid outbreak might have been due to an American biowarfare attack against China (and Iran), and that article got very strong early traffic, with more Facebook Likes in the first few days than anything I had previously published.

But about ten days after it ran, our website was suddenly banned by Facebook. A few days later, our entire website was deranked by Google, so that all our web pages would appear near the very bottom of Google searches and almost no one would see them. The coincidental timing of these actions seems very suspicious.

I still think an accidental lab leak is the more likely explanation, although your theory is plausible. What I have excerpted here, though, is the most important aspect of all.

Why panic over this particular piece at all?

I don't know whether you agree or not, and it really doesn't matter, but the social media networks are propaganda organs for the intelligence services. Your theory hit a nerve with the IC for whatever reason. My gut is US intelligence was working very closely with China to develop bioweapons. It was memoryholed, of course, and may have been false, but early reports were the Chinese had developed an ethnic-specific bioweapon to target Whites. Given the current genocidal bent of the US government, is it possible this bioweapon that directly targeted Whites was funded by American intelligence to use against the indigenous population here? Don't discount it. Those weapons also may have been to target Russians, who are overwhelmingly White, but given the ties China has with Putin that seems implausible. All that aside, how many people even realized that the United States government was pumping funds to a Chinese laboratory experimenting with viruses and making them more lethal? In what world does that pass any smell test?

A more benign explanation is the United States was involved with China in extremely risky behavior with biological experimentation and a virus leaked. Neither nation has much of an incentive to discuss the actual origins if that is the case.

I agree with you that the Fauci emails themselves were a MacGuffin, but disagree that his circuitous funding of the Wuhan lab is anything short of breathtaking.

And, of course, you may be one hundred percent correct. Recent events certainly bolster your case, not the least of which is the Neocon/Zionist sabre rattling against China and the 180 on Putin as they realize a Russia-China alliance would defeat and devastate their home base in a matter of weeks. There are also indications Zionist financial interests are becoming scared that they are about to be swallowed alive by the Chinese, who refuse to allow them to corrupt and financialize their economy. It appears the Chinese, and to a lesser extent the Koreans, have overtaken the Jews as the biggest player in the Los Angeles real estate market and are now moving into the financial sector. Again, don't discount financial motives.

If we get a firm fix on the date the virus first emerged, it will help unravel what actually happened. Your theory will depend of whether the spread of the virus predates the military games.

The standard MSM narrative is that the Wuhan outbreak began in late Oct/early Nov, which fits perfectly with the World Military Games being the vector.

Google tends to present the “standard narrative” and if you Google something like “first Wuhan covid case,” a discussion of this Pekar journal article comes first, having the subtitle: “Study dates emergence to as early as October 2019; simulations suggest in most cases zoonotic viruses die out naturally before causing a pandemic.” The results are summarized as:

“By combining these disparate lines of evidence, we were able to put an upper limit of mid-October 2019 for when SARS-CoV-2 started circulating in Hubei province…Regional newspaper reports suggest COVID-19 diagnoses in Hubei date back to at least November 17, 2019.”

So I think the “conventional wisdom” among experts is Patient Zero became infected in late Oct/early Nov.

  • With the exception of his perseverance in a long overdue withdrawal from Afghanistan, President Joe Biden has been assiduously pursuing policies that make the world a more dangerous place for Americans, up to and including opening up the country’s southern border to waves of illegal immigration. Ironically, if an opinion poll were to be taken...
  • Adding Phil Giraldi to the pool of frequent writers for Unz.com was an absolute masterstroke of brilliance by Ron Unz.

I’ve followed Giraldi’s writings from as far back as the year 2000, and owe him a debt that could never be paid in full for what I’ve learned from him about domestic and international affairs.

If either the Orange Man or Ron DeSantis run and win the White House in 2024, Phil Giraldi should be one of the very first advisors to be brought into the White House.

From the very start of the Putin era, I have noticed the over-the-top vitriol spewed his way by the Jewish element in the American editorial class. Putin has noticed too, of course. In a speech he gave in Russia about a year ago to a large respectful audience of what appeared to be high-ranking officials, he said extemporaneously that there were elements in the United States that desire war between the United States and Russia, these elements, believe it or not, were willing to sacrifice Israel itself to accomplish that goal, he said.

That's a remarkable thing to say, but given the belligerent stupidity of our treatment of Russia, he must be right.

Reading between the lines, this looks like a message to Israel, and Russia has the means to carry it out. Since 2017 Tartus Naval Base in Syria has had nuclear submarines on station. That’s only 300 km from Tel Aviv. The message, while necessarily cryptic, should be clear enough. If Russia is attacked, Israel will disappear.
