Even while the Nantes cathedral was burning, the socialist media and politicians said “there is no terrorist motive”.

And don’t forget, Macron was a minister in the former Socialist government – who jumped ship when it was obvious they wouldn’t be re-elected, then declared himself “a centrist” with all the media playing along, drumming this in constantly. Let me go through this country by country, because there is much neocon propaganda distorting the picture, coupled with religionuts who bristle at the word “Muslim” in the Muslim Brotherhood. (They never realized that the side they supported, as ordered by the media, was also Muslim.)

Tunisia: This was a good uprising against a tyranny, a member of the Socialist International, loyal to Israel to curry favor with Washington.

Algeria: Protests against a coup regime, a member of the Socialist International, loyal to Israel to curry favor with Washington. The protests were quickly crushed and people were imprisoned while U.S. media ignored them.

Morocco: Protests against the king, whose top adviser is a U.S.-educated Jew. The protests led to concessions by the king, so they were successful.

Libya: Another good uprising against a tyranny, a member of the Socialist International, which had opposed Israel in the past but now curried favor with Washington. Qaddafi bought some nuclear junk on the black market and made a big show of surrendering it, so the neocons would get to say “Look, the regimes abandon WMDs because we invaded Iraq!” He also worked with Washington against the rebels in eastern Libya, who were Islamists, as you need something historical and larger to identify with.

No, Obama did not “support the Islamists because he was Muslim!” This was neocon misdirection. The protests took everyone by surprise and Washington needed to get in on it. And the regime was extremely tyrannical. Qaddafi’s female bodyguards kidnapped little girls he selected during his travels. They were kept in his palace basement to be raped over and over, and never see the light of day. He crushed civil discourse, put anyone who complained in prison, and killed thousands. “But it got worse after, ha ha!” As planned by Washington, which could have helped shape a new stable government in Tripoli but didn’t.

Bahrain: The majority are Shia, and the “king” is simply a dictator with no real support. He rules by filling the police and military with Pakistanis. It is effectively an occupied country. The protests also included Sunnis, so it wasn’t only sectarian. For instance, a Sunni millionaire who was then thrown in prison, and had his businesses taken from him. The protesters camped by the beautiful Pearl Monument, in the Pearl Roundabout. At night, the Pakistani military moved in, with Saudi tanks rolling in across the bridge, to crush the camp and imprison the protesters. The Pearl Monument was in all the Bahrain postcards. It was demolished so it wouldn’t be a symbol for freedom. This is like destroying the Eiffel Tower because of protests by its foot. The U.S. supported the tyrant with money as usual, as he is pro-Israeli and anti-Iranian.

Yemen: Protests against a tyrant who divided the country’s assets among his family members. The protests were fired at by the military, while one general supported the protests. So it turned into a rebellion. Now the Houthi movement, majority Shia but also Sunni – it is not a religious movement – controls the capital and most of the country. It is the government. And still U.S. media calls it “a rebel movement supported by Iran”. All Iran has done is approve of them, as well they should. Any support they’ve given is minor, and the Houthi Movement does not answer to them. They aren’t even the same kind of Shia.

Saudi Arabia’s tyrant bombs Yemen, especially targeting food depots and water. This is done only thanks to U.S. satellite intelligence and U.S. refueling of planes in the air. The U.S. supports state terrorism.

Qatar: Protests that led to some concessions. Also a successful movement.

Syria: This was not “Arab Spring”, it was the opposite. The Arab Spring was against pro-Israeli, Washington-funded Sunniy dictators that suck the countries dry. Syria’s Alawite president is pro-Palestinian, and the country was sanctioned by Bush and then Obama to destroy the oil exports so Kurds and Sunni immigrants could start an uprising, funded by Washington, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Syria’s Alawite minority has made itself practically identical to the Sunni majority as far as religion and culture goes, and is supported by the majority – the military fighting the Iraqi immigrant Sunni “rebels” is mostly Sunni. That goes for most of the officers too.

Drought and U.S. sanctions ruined the country, not kleptocracy. Drought, U.S. sanctions, and Kurds and Iraqis moving to the cities in the west, where they started protests. The president, who was practically forced by the Ba’ath party to take over his father’s job, must have remembered how uprisings in the past turned violent, in his father’s time. It was no doubt a mistake to fire at protesters. But violent groups were already among the protesters. Note that al-Assad tried to appease them. He allowed female teachers to wear the hijab, he released Muslim Brotherhood prisoners (not the same as the slum-helping Brotherhood in Egypt), he banned casinos. All he got for that was U.S. media going, “look, he released Islamists so the protests will look like Islamists only!”

We all know how Turkey bought oil from ISIS, how the U.S. bombed areas to help the ethnic-cleansing Kurds take over and impoverish or demolish Arab villages, how the Kurds disarmed the Yazidis and left in the middle of the night hours before ISIS came to capture the Yazidis so the Kurds could then take their land, how Israel functioned as al-Qaeda’s air force in the south and gave them shelter and medical aid on the Israeli side of the border and finally arranged for their helicopter transport to Jordan. It has been a foreign operation from the start.

Egypt: What a smear job we have seen from neocons and religionuts regarding Egypt. “Obama supported the protesters! Because he is a MUSLIM!” No, while Obama and State Secretary Hillary Clinton (also a Muslim?) pretended to support democracy, they were shipping riot gear and tear gas to the dictator Mubarak – also pro-Israeli, Washington loyal and a member of the Socialist International, that group of thieving parties.

After elections were held and a democratic president installed, the socialists got few seats in parliament. So they kept meeting in Tahrir Square, a small group. They had taken part in the pro-democracy protests, and it was clear they were the ones who molested women in the crowd – as they now did the same in their own Tahrir meetings. These were then used for the “popular uprising” against democracy.

It went like this: The generals control AT LEAST one third of the economy. Suddenly fuel and electricity were cut off at the same time. People couldn’t go to work, and the workplace had stopped anyhow. So many joined the socialist party in Tahrir Square. Military helicopters dropped Egyptian flags over the crowd to hold up before the foreign cameras. Like in Ukraine, the crowd only cheered when the cameras were turned on, as like in Ukraine it was all about fooling the dumb American audience that can’t even place these countries on the map. (As was shown in a test after four months of Ukraine protests, the first time.) Then the military took over. Installing civilian dupes in an “interim government”, again to dupe the foreigners. Probably planned in Washington.

Hundreds of pro-democracy protesters were machine gunned in one day. You have never seen this on TV. Most have never heard of it. It was the biggest massacre of our lifetime. Yet it’s completely buried.

Washington kept sending money to the military junta even though U.S. law forbids financing a coup regime. Simply by Obama denying that there was a coup, even though there was one. (“But Obama is a Muslim who supports the Muslim Brotherhood!”)

Washington’s demand is that Egypt keeps the border to the Gaza Strip closed, to starve the Palestinians. The democratic government had opened the border. Now it was closed again.

For this, Egypt receives more money than any other government in the world, except for Israel itself of course.

As for the Muslim Brotherhoods, religionuts could try to get past the “Muslim” in the name. They are the only ones who care about the poor in the vast Cairo slum. The police are simply another gang, looking for bribes, so the Brotherhood volunteers set up court to settle disputes, and organized welfare for the poor. That is why they are so immensely popular – many people owe them a lot.

Maybe Americans should learn these things before they mouth off about a foreign country. But as usual simply believe what the Jewish media owners feed them.

The communist South American “Eric Striker,” who Ron Unz allows to post here for some reason, loves Ted Kaczynski, and often praises and quotes him on Twitter. Just like he praises his hero Ernesto Guevara, who he calls “Che” Guevara, the man who who lied about being a doctor, attached himself to Fidel Castro, and loved killing adults and children after his bodyguards had tied and gagged them. Eric Striker who says “communism would have worked if if had been Germans instead of Slavs”, and encouraged followers to go on welfare, because, “Blacks do it and they seem happy.” (Excusing his own welfare use.)

This is a typical Ted Kaczynski admirer, someone who just believes whatever he wants to believe about the world. Whatever makes him look good, and those who managed to live better lives with jobs and a family look bad.

My understanding is that Chavez was very popular with the poor and very much resented by the rich.

One of Chavez’s mentors was Fidel Castro. While the Cuban Revolution was founded in guerrilla warfare and a military takeover of power, the governments of Chavez and then of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela have depended, and continue to depend, on the outcomes of elections. Were these elections done honestly or were the Venezuelan elections as corrupt and dishonest as the current US election?

The Google search for “election fraud punishment” surged in PA, MI and AZ the days before the election. Funnily, exactly the states where fraud was the Biden vote suddenly jumped in the middle of the night.

The vote increase in Wisconsin was 5.5 standard deviations above the average in the last twelve elections. This is a statistical impossibility. It would happen less than once in a billion times.

Biden received more votes than senators in the Democrat-controlled swing states.

The GOP made huge gains down-ballot. But still lost the presidential vote? This is completely unheard of.

Trump received a higher share of the Black and Latino vote across the country – except in the large cities like Atlanta and Detroit in these swing states.

Even simple tweets by people in Maricopa in Arizona, who confirm that they were given markers to fill out ballots, get warning labels. You then have to click through the warning label in order to be able to retweet. This is to suppress retweets, and to intimidate the people who own the accounts. In Maricopa, there were reports that ballots where the marker “bled through” to the other side of the ballot would be discarded. This after people in the White conservative county were told to only use markers, not pens.

There are many more discrepancies. But Brad Griffin doesn’t want you to know that. Neither do his leftist allies at Twitter, who will censor tweets.

The Quakers, for example, believed women were entirely equal to men in every way. Diggers believed in absolute wealth redistribution and the abolition of property. Moravians pioneered “multiculturalism” in their extremely multi-ethnic colonies. What were Rabbis teaching at the time?

Note that these ideas were created before Mendelssohn even lived. The fact that he drew so heavily on them makes him ideologically liberal: a “super-Protestant”. Modern elite Jews are essentially the same; as Moldbug points out, Reform Judaism is basically Quakerism. Notably stripped from the film is any reference to the real-life exchanges between Abbie Hoffman and Julius Hoffman that involved Jewishness. Seale finds out during the trial that Hampton has been killed during a police raid. This prompts Seale to become more assertive in pushing for his right to defend himself. Margaret Thatcher took over after Labour’s pro-Soviet James Callaghan, Corbyn’s idol, had done his best to bankrupt the country. Labour had controlled the economy after WWII and froze it. They created vast government production and made it as hard as possible to fire anyone, which also meant employers couldn’t hire people when they expected three good years ahead. And businesses doing bad went bankrupt instead of firing some of the employees, to be able to hire again in better times. With employees tied up in businesses that didn’t need them, new companies couldn’t emerge, as they couldn’t afford to get employees.

Yes, it turns out the branches of the economy go up and down, instead of being static. When government forces companies to be static, that doesn’t bode well for the country.

Margaret Thatcher changed this to a more realistic economy. She also did away with a mountain of unnecessary laws and regulations, created by bureaucrats who hated those who worked hard to create their own business. She brought great prosperity to Britain and won an enormous proportion of the vote three times in a row.

There are “drop dead” dates for Electors to be selected by the Electoral College and their acceptance by the Senate. If a state doesn’t have their vote in by those dates, the election results of that state will not be counted towards the election of the President. It will not have 535 electoral votes; instead it will have 535-X electoral votes as the universe to count from. What’s missing from the author’s analysis is that “the military” isn’t just the Generals and Admirals, and not just the active duty personnel. There are literally millions of combat veterans, including some fairly good officers, who would not stand by while there was a military Coup d’etat in progress.

The same is true in every Western nation, by the way. There are no soldiers who would sacrifice their freedom by going along with a plan to occupy parliament. Pity their families if they were insane enough to do so. Pity the shame these families would have to live with, never being able to show their faces on the street. The officers and soldiers just want to take their paycheck and keep living free. What’s in it for them, by occupying parliament? Which would be irrelevant two days later when the police put handcuffs on them, as no other part of the military would join in the crime.

And what are the logistics behind such a coup? Imagine all the people who have to go along with you. You need fuel – but how? You’re sitting there in the capital or some other city. What makes you think any fuel transports will come to you? And that’s just one of the problems.

This isn’t Thailand or Africa. Even in freakin’ Turkey the days of military coups are over. The military tried to hold the vital bridge in Istanbul, spanning the strait. The people just walked all over it. What was the military going to do, shoot at them? They wouldn’t. The soldiers live with the people. They knew trials would be waiting for them.

The Soviets had moved their military up to the border to invade Germany. They were far west of their usual fortified positions: the army placed in front of bridges instead of behind them, planes placed close to the border out in the open instead of on their protected bases, etc. They planned to invade.

After beating back the British and French in a six-week campaign, Germany had reached its objective. Churchill had planned to invade once enough soldiers had been brought in from the colonies. But Germany now – once again – offered peace. They would withdraw from France.

Germany went back to a peacetime economy. They did not produce more tanks, of which they had only a small number. They had no plans to invade the Soviet Union. But Stalin planned to invade Germany. Luckily the Germans noticed in time, and thereby saved Western Europe.

Some communists like to claim “Stalin wasn’t a REAL communist”. This about the man who sought to eliminate the work week, making Russians work in staggered five-day shifts, even dividing couples this way, so that they wouldn’t be able to gather for Christian prayer on Sundays. While exterminating the Baltic peoples through mass executions and deportations, and swamping the land with Russian slaves, of course.

When the U.S. invaded Italy, all the British and American generals and politicians wanted to go east, to take the Balkans before the Soviet invasion. But the communist Roosevelt alone refused. Instead he sent the American conscripts to die while invading southern France, which was heavily fortified and of no strategic value. There was no point as the other pro-Jewish forces had already invaded northern France. This was his way to weaken both the German and U.S. army as much as possible while ensuring that Stalin could take Eastern Europe. But … you will never say anything about that, will you?

Hitler and the Germans saved Europe. By preempting the Soviet attack by only 18 days the Germans blunted the greatest offensive in history. Instead of rolling over the whole continent with equipment manufactured in factories built by U.S. corporations (see Anthony Sutton-Wall St. and the Bolshevik Revolution) the Russians were thrown on the defensive from which they never regained momentum. Milosevic’s cell was cold and small, and full of documents. When he asked for documentation the prosecution bombed him with tons of papers about every little detail, a common dirty tactic. He died in his cell. Afterward he was declared innocent of the charges. But I digress.

Herbert wrote five sequels, and after his death his son Brian Herbert, together with Kevin J. Anderson, wrote more than a dozen Dune universe books, none of which I have read.

Herbert should have just written a story about a continent on one fictional planet – that’s the format he could have handled.

As for the sequels written by his son and Kevin Anderson – probably mostly by Anderson, with the son lending his name to them – they are supposedly based on “notes by Herbert which we found in a bank vault after his death”. Sure.

They are not just sequels but prequels. I have read all of these except one of the sequels. Instead of being wooden, they are cardboard. As one reviewer put it, it seems more like the outline of a novel, than an actual novel.

Characters appear and disappear with clear-cut but strangely empty descriptions of who they are. “Hey, I have an idea for a robot who can think, and who agrees to die so the humans can get away. It goes like this …. Now, how do we write that story?”
“You just did.”

Oddly, they unmake the final conclusion of the original novels. Which was that mankind should spread beyond the empire and become stronger thereby, by going by themselves in every direction. That was the point of the Tyrant who ruled for thousands of years, holding down mankind so that after his death many of them would flee. And they would never again want to be ruled by one person. But in Kevin’s sequels, the conclusion is that all humans should be in one empire: “As long as we work together nothing can stop us.”

And wouldn’t you know it, there are space Jews in the sequels who have had to hide for thousands of years, because they have been harrassed and pogromed all this time. Some of the Jews become prominent on the ship of main characters that becomes the main focus for the last three books. One of the Jews is a rabbi, of course. (Though he is killed and replaced by a face-changing enemy, and he then sabotages the ship. This is the only part that breaks from the hallowed view of the Jews.)

In Bahrain peaceful democracy protests were attacked by Haman. Their camp was attacked in the middle of the night, people were dragged away to be tortured. These were mostly Shia, but also Sunnis.

Haman even destroyed the Pearl Roundabout the protesters had been camping by. This was a beautiful monument that you could find on Bahraini postcards. He destroyed it to not make it a symbol for the peaceful democracy protests. This is like destroying the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Tanks rolled in across the bridge from Saudi Arabia to help crush the protests. Bahrain is in practice occupied territory. It’s just that the tanks don’t have to stay around, since they are right next door.

Instead, Sweden implemented a policy that was both conventional and sensible. They recommended that people maintain a safe distance between each other and they banned gatherings of 50 people or more. They also asked their elderly citizens to isolate themselves and to avoid interacting with other people as much as possible. Other than that, Swedes were encouraged to work, exercise and get on with their lives as they would normally even though the world was still in the throes of a global pandemic.

True but Sweden did more than this:

-A lot of workplaces cut down to about 40 percent activity. So employees come in twice a week, on different days. The economy took a sharp hit.

-Universities sent the students home as much as possible, to study online. (I hope this could be permanent in all countries. A lot of lectures are just to give the professors a paycheck. The information could be written down and handed out to the students, instead of forcing them to take notes as fast as they can.)

-Commuter traffic in Stockholm went down by at least one third.

-Seats in trains were cut down to only one third.

-Visits to the old by the Home Service went down sharply, with food left outside the door.

-Amusement parks, concerts etc were shut down – this is included in the “gatherings of more than 50 people were banned” rule, but you need to point out how significant this is. Even the annual celebration for high school students at the end of the year was cancelled.

-Like in other countries, tape on the floor indicates the distance between people standing in line in stores, etc.

The intention was never to “fight” the virus which is among the most contagious infections in the last century, but to protect the old and vulnerable while allowing the young, low-risk people to circulate, contract the virus, and develop the antibodies they’d need to fight similar pathogens in the future.

No. For “herd mentality” 70-80 percent of a population needs to develop antibodies. Leaving aside the lethality, corona sends people to the hospital. It fills up hospital beds and ventilators. No country could cope with even 20 percent of the population getting sick, as a certain percentage of these would need hospitalization. The system would break down. “Herd immunity” was never a serious option, it’s just something held out to give people hope. As long as they can’t do math.

This girl, Wild Ginger, later becomes a hero, and then turns into the most fanatical Maoist. This is all seen through Maple’s eyes, and you get to see examples of all the things the Guardists did. Breaking an old man’s fingers between a door and the door frame because he could play Western classical music on the piano. Parading parents in the streets for public shaming. Forcing the teacher to stand still and read Mao’s propaganda, when she has a baby at home that needs feeding. And so on. No real education, like math.

I digress. But it’s a really good novel.

In the end, the Cultural Revolution was ended by Mao, not by an uprising, and the guardists and other students were sent to the western provinces to work with the harvest for a couple of years.
