Patreon hasn't even 'lost' yet.
However, they DID lose the preliminary injunction, which means that the 73 individual arbitration cases go forwards, which costs them somewhere between $215k and $730,000 in up front money.

They can continue with their court case and go into discovery, where Owen and his group get to read Patreon's emails and Patreon gets to read Owen and his group's emails. And then try to go to actual trial based on the facts.
That would be very dumb, based on the preliminary injunction, but they can do it.

The Patreon ToS said that users had to talk to Patreon first and then had to use arbitration if they were unhappy, and specified JAMS.

That is what Owen Benjamin got his followers to do. They did not sue Patreon, they invoked the provisions in Patreon's ToS.

Unfortunately, Patreon had not thought it out and then abrogated its own ToS and sued its customers who were seeking arbitration under its own ToS.

Further, if you think it will be appealed and reversed, perhaps you can cite the relevant case law under which it will be reversed.

I hope someone tells Rittenhouse to find a lawyer from outside the jurisdiction he's tried in, which I have heard is the best way to ensure one gets good representation, as one's lawyer will not be preoccupied with preserving his relationship with his friends in the court (local judges, prosecutors, defenders; these people all eat lunch and have drinks together long after your case has been tried and your fate decided).

Barring that, he should take an active role in his own defense, ride herd on his lawyer(s), and record all his dealings with them. Make sure they run every argument and defense tactic by him first, and document everything.

Most of my friends and I went to Catholic schools in NYC, they were overwhelmingly White and there were no racial problems at school. It was a different story for those who went to public school. In my day, there were still enough White kids around that even if they weren't a majority of kids, they were able to defend themselves. The White kids who went to high percentage black schools lived like they were in prison and we used to hear stories of fights every day from them. None of the Whites I knew who went to black public schools stayed long enough to graduate. Mayor Bloomberg created a system in NYC that set up a bunch of small satellite schools in the early 2000s that segregates even those Whites who don't get into the elite schools like Stuyvesant and Bronx Science. They're slowly being dismantled now, because no one with Pale skin can be left alone. Even the suburb I moved to years ago, which was over 95% Pale when I moved here, has begun to have blacks creeping in. I know how the integration story ends, with violence and hatred. Segregation is the only thing that keeps peace between the races. The old saying, 'Familiarity breeds contempt' was probably written by a White guy that was forced to go to school with blacks.

Steve Sailer seems to be the only one I've found who -- rightly in my view -- identifies the 1619 Project, which is only the respectable tip of the iceberg -- as excuse-making distraction for 60 years of liberalism. What with the resounding success of the FDR/Redlining thingie I should have seen it coming.

Even if teachers could inculcate this milquetoast ideology into whites, liberalism is doomed because so many non-whites are not receptive to education of any kind beyond the merest basics.

SWMBO is still mired in essentially a black school, and is totally schizophrenic as far as relating the bureaucratic insanity she is forced to follow in -for this case- the omnipresent testing regime, WHILE simultaneously relating the UNENDING drama and chaos of the 'students' which forestall just about any significant teaching much less learning... AND YET, she still can not process that the students, parents and community MUST shoulder a large part of the blame for black students NON performance... (NOT under performance, but NON performance) as the author relates, they don't even fucking try, and my wife confirms that, BUT IS STILL loath to make ANY type of judgmental conclusions on the obvious...

again, as the author relates at his black school, many/most of the white students are functionally -if not physically!- segregated from the rest of the school in the 'magnet programs'... the whole purpose of that is to artificially inflate the overall schools 'grade' so that the school doesn't 'fail', and get funds taken away...
(as a matter of logic, wouldn't it make nominal sense to give under performing schools more resources, and the ones doing above average already, less ? ? ? just sayin'...)

they are almost like two segregated schools co-located, with little to no interaction between the students and teachers... it is a sham and a shame, but it will not change under the present regime enforced by the feds... (which is an issue it itself: that the feds provide a relatively miniscule amount of funding for education, but they leverage that minor contribution by policing ALL OF EDUCATION...)

a couple of questions i would ask of libtards too afraid to face race reality:
1. sure, tests must be 'culturally biased' blah blah blah, as the reason why blacks perform so much worse... um, except for several things:
A. uh, well that IS THE CULTURE we are in, so that is the cultural context they should be tested in and be expected to conform to in certain ways;
B. oddly enough, first generation students of asian, etc immigrants -including black africans- who have had ZERO raising in said foreign US/white culture, STILL DO BETTER IN 'CULTURALLY BIASED' TESTS than native black americans who have been here for generations... uh, so much for 'cultural bias' ? ? ?
C. another interesting test of 'cultural bias' in the outcome, would be that of comparing the scores of native white americans who took IQ tests that were fabricated in africa... surely they would fail those tests and be in the lowest quartile because of 'cultural bias'... surely...

2. as relates to the police officer, the teacher has talked about how discipline is basically non-existent... it is worse than that... the black students are essentially given free rein to do whatever and not get into any sort of trouble for it... the classroom is a fucking madhouse compared to when you and i were in grade school... i guarantee you that had you and i engaged in such behavior when we were in school, we would be thrown out of school, period... and further, the white students will be disciplined for nothingburgers... this is not just by accident, this is not just because the teachers (white and black) just don't want to get into an endless tussle TRYING to maintain discipline among black students who don't give a shit, it is OFFICIAL POLICY...
the asskissing principal has told his teachers they simply can't 'write up', 'report', or discipline black kids, BECAUSE THE NUMBERS LOOK BAD... and -of course- numbers is raciss... soooo, black kids geta away with all but murder, and white kids can't point a finger and go 'pew pew' without getting a rap sheet...
it is all a horrible clusterfuck, which serves Empire just fine, so it will remain that way...

A friend of mine once took a teaching job at an all-black high school in Baltimore. The deal was that if you stayed for 3 years, you got a bonus. He made it only one year. He couldn't stand it. He said it was like trying to help those who don't want to help themselves. Previously, he had been liberal on racial issues.

2. Your piece validates what I learned as an attorney for the federal government and shows nothing changes as they age . One encounter sticks in my mind.

Imagine a 50ish black male, a GS-12, making between $70-80K a year, with amazing federal benefits. I had to review his contracting officer decision for legal sufficiency (in accordance with the FAR).
It had so many errors, illogical, illegal conclusions, there was no hope. It has to be scrapped. I told him I would email him a template and he could use that as his guide.

He immediately became hostile and said: "What you mean a template???Why you playing games with me? Just fix my sh*t".

3. The most racist, shocking behavior I have ever observed is the treatment of Mexicans by Blacks. I have seen black women at Cook Out (milkshake & burgers) refuse to touch a Mexican's hand to give him change. I have seen black men Home Depot workers literally glare and snarl at Mexicans who were doing nothing more than buying supplies.

The US/UK mega war profiteers and the army of ZUSA presstitutes have nothing better to cover their stinky poop than to issue a virtuous cry:
