That's not true at all. As Seamus Padraig pointed out, prying Crimea permanently away from Russia was one of the secondary US objectives in fomenting the Ukrainian war. By taking Crimea back, Russia gets both the port at Sevastopol and claim to probable large gas deposits in the Black Sea near Crimea.

I’m looking at abstracts on Ashkenazi genetics from ASHG 2013 and SMBE 2014 – by the same group, with Shai Carmi as the lead author. They did 128 whole genomes, 50x deep.

They concluded Ashkenazi Jews were about 50% Middle Eastern and 50% European. In the 2013 abstract, they were pretty specific: they estimated the European ancestry fraction at 55% , plus or minus 2%. ( In our book, we had a crude estimate of about 40% European ancestry.) They estimated the split between Europeans and Middle Easterners at about 9000 BC: which sounds about the right date for the entry of the Sardinian-like farmers. From other data (mtDNA) , and from the fact that you see almost zero WHG or ANE in Ashkenazi autosomal genes, one can conclude that the European admixture was mostly Italian, with some southern French. Very little German or Slavic – by that time serious endogamy had set in..

Peter never said they were any "elite" of Africa per se. They are an example of a people who drawing on indigenous cultural elements (from metalwork, to trading, etc), adapted more quickly to modern Western education, and now today, reap the advantages. The Scots likewise adapted more quickly than others through centuries of adaptation to the larger framework of British hegemony, and as a result of those centuries, show the advantages. I'm liberal on many issues, although not this one, so I can take a stab at it. Besides, I lived in 'blue' areas most of my life.

Basically, it's about compassion for the poor--that old Christian standby. The Africans are poor, the Europeans are rich, so the Europeans should take in and help the Africans. There's also, at least among American liberals (can't speak to European ones), a sense of white guilt.

They're ignoring the fact taking in enough refugees will wreck European societies, at least in part because they don't want to admit those people will likely never be able to assimilate, because, of course, that would be racist.

Conspiracies to destroy white countries? Not among your average liberal, I don't think, though I do think the Democratic party at least wants more nonwhites for their votes...but that's America, not Europe. I think you underestimate the sheer number who really truly believe that under the skin, we are all the same, and that bad conditions in Africa or Detroit are due to whites acting badly.

I come from a liberal family and my answer is that liberals do not think about the problem at all, or they think it is overstated, or they think it will resolve itself somehow. The real problem is that they take their cues from the hard left. And the hard left knows full well this immigration will destroy western society and that is why the left is for the immigration. They do not say this of course. So instead of listening to the right, which warns this immigration will be the end of the liberal society in the west, they listen to the hard left which states that the right are racists, and this is not a big problem and that the west can handle it easily. Here in the UK, during the Cold War the Left downplayed both the Communist threat and the non-white immigration threat. The Right played up the Communist threat, generally played down the immigration threat but *much less than today* I would say, relative to the scale of the problem, and you were much more likely to see people on the mainstream right talk about it as a general threat than nowadays. In recent years the Left expects to control the immigration debate completely, attacking PM Cameron (a 'Liberal Conservative' who maintains a strong Social-Liberal party line in the Tory party) recently for using the word 'swarms' to refer to the swarms of people at Calais trying to get into the UK.

So, in the UK at least I don't think talking up the Cold War was done to downplay immigration as a threat. "Invade the World/Invite the World" is a modern phenomenon coming from the US Neoconservative Right, aided by Democrat Neo-Liberals, and is largely post-2000. The US Right wasn't dominated by Neocons until after 1992 AFAICT, and the US Neo-Liberal Left was not generally invade-the-world between the end of Vietnam and 9/11.

No, to be crude, you should support Israel and oppose the Jewish diaspora (which mostly means the U.S.). To be less crude, you should support the majority of Israeli Jews and the minority of diaspora Jews who oppose one worldist globalism, and oppose the majority of diaspora Jews and the minority of Israeli Jews who support it. Or, to make it a bit more crude again, you should support people of any group who are on the right side, and oppose people on the wrong side and stop obsessing about Jews.

Speaking as someone who lives in England, I find the idea that the media, and the left wing media in general, gives Israel some kind of a pass, to be nothing short of absurd. On top of this there is an almost perfect correlation between opposition to Israel and support for mass immigration.

As for European Jews, their voting patterns are about the same as indigenous white Europeans. In England they voted Tory more than any religious group. Children of Men. This movie had this interesting angle that ingested or inhaled pollutants cause mass infertility, and a sort of contagion that kills children (my opinion,) and that humans were incapable of reproducing. Of course, the heart throb (my opinion) Clive Owen, does everything in his power, until death, to save the last pregnant woman and later, her baby, and put them on a boat to "the Colony."

But the population genetics data is not so clear, and it's a heck of a lot more objective, and it doesn't show Jews to be a total outlier among humanity. All of the core Jewish populations fall somewhere in the West Asian / South European spectrum, much closer to Europeans than to sub-Saharan Africans, East Asians, Native Americans or Oceanic populations. Ashkenazi and Iberian Sephardic Jews are closer to South Europeans than are other Jewish populations because of greater admixture from Southern Europe. To the extent that Mizrahi Jews are more similar to other Jewish populations than to surrounding Arab populations, sub-Saharan admixture over the last 1000+ years among Muslim Arabs has played a big role.

You are not answering my point which was to question (though not deny necessarily) the supposed Zionist insistence that Jews are/were "a distinct and unified race". And the point you make depends on your deploying a very individual notion of race because the criterion for citizenship of being Jewish can be met by converts and is not even a matter of "race" for the rest because it depends on having a Jewish mother (I presume until authoritatively contradicted). And, strictly speaking your argument is contradicted by the fact of citizenship for the children of Arab citizens....

Germany could easily stand up to America and could easily stop the immigrants, but they don't.

Maybe just maybe the large number of good thinkers, including Merkel, are not all parts of a giant conspiracy but actually believe what they say! It is certainly conceivable...,i have had a lot of conversations with decent and intelligent people who support every facet of the multikult. They're wrong but they're not lying.

And if you start off with the presumption that your political opponents are lying and they're not then you'll never persuade them...which explains quite well the current state of mainstream opinion.
