Conclusions being, there are some real hard limits to growth on a finite planet with a whole raft of issues coming to a head about 2020, the big one is a net energy cliff (86% of primary energy is fossil fuels, 96% of transportation energy is crude oil…. think no diesel/petrol…) along with pollution, ecological collapse (6th great extinction anyone??) and of course climate change. The owners of this knowledge think….”okay we got 50 yrs to grab whatever we can then we see how things look….after all, we will be writing the history!!” The book is published and all the necessary talking heads (economists etc) give it the thumbs down, content thereof totally ignored. Understand this, these people knew the monetary system based on continuous growth must collapse, but as it was their system and the source of their power and control, they said farkit… lets go for it.

After 30 odd yrs of studying the how and why of existence on this planet my best guess of human survival has gone significantly lower than my earlier 50/50.

We are not necessarily “bad” ( in fact empathy and knowledge give us the ability to be a force for life on this planet, think trees) but I do believe we have been intentionally misled over the last few hundred yrs and possibly since the advent of agriculture. And the more media the more we can be misled, the less you personally experience the less able you are to judge.

I have no tears, just a giant deadening sadness for the wasted potential. The only infinite resources are life and time…..

It is called the GAS, general adaptation syndrome. Have a look into universe 25, Calhoun with the rodents…. perfect example of population density effecting behaviour, increase density and what happens…. aberrant social behaviour all the way from infanticide to homosexuality to gangs and . 20yrs ago I got interested and with many others worked out for ourselves that continuous growth on a finite planet will end in tears. Part of the reading was a book produced by The club of Rome, Limits to growth, the research for said book that was funded by the few at the top…

Today the few at the top must surely be able to reach the same conclusion, so what to do….
option 1) the system collapses thru too much debt created while trying to keep growth going or resource limits are hit hard or (many options)
—–result: the mob witness the failings of the system and change it, those at the top as a minimum lose control….. or
option 2) have something else crash the system, which by way of a bonus number smacks a couple of recalcitrant nations alongside the head, global reset enabled with the few still at the top, power/control retained and none the wiser…=> msm virusvirusviruspanicpanic
