What Yarvin says is very questionable. You only don’t hear about those people because most don’t care to say goodbye before they leave the Jewish community.For others the question is more complicated because they live in The Country like Shlomo Sand. They may give up being Jewish but they still have to have the nationality of the country where they live. They have to assimilate in ways that American Jews didn’t have to do in the US.

So, the question is what keeps the group as a group in the US? The answer is also simple: ideology and rewards. The ideology has to be very strong and the rewards quite high. And that’s the case. Rewards are money, positions and care, and the ideology is “we are Jews, we are special, we are better” (Germany has just announced that it is going to pay an extra half a billion to survivors of the Holocaust because of corona). But the ideology can also be money and the rewards can be “we are Jews”. Compare this with the poverty of the Hells Angels which have a primitive ideology and offer very low rewards linked with a lot of problems. It’s not very attractive being a Hell Angels, but they still exist even if they are declared to be socially undesirable.

Yarvin says that Jews wanted to progress as individuals and because of that the group doesn’t exist. But of course, you may use the group as a way to progress individually. Later the group will expect something back and so it goes on. In this process the ideology is going to become stronger.

Many scenarios are possible, and there is a lot of improvisations going on. Not only Covid, not only the agro sector. You do intuitively feel what is up, sad most humans are beyond the pale… Many things can be said, what has changed is the strategy, it is now direct to the body shots, the financial scams are no longer, they never were in the long run, valid. As for my take on the overlap of different factors, much as in layers on maps, the in-distinction, first of East and West, the understand and put up, globally by the few before pointing to a West – Russia – China conflict, class overlapping race, the need to tune the global surplus populations, the altered importance of media, these could be important enough factors to insist on scope when envisioning a world view.
