It’s the opposite of what he said: Most of the Muslims are here because we’re there.

The fallout from wars in the Muslim world was the excuse for elites to bring in more cheap labor. Many of the elites, holding all of the wealth in our country while the middle class disappears during 40 years of wage decline, made fortunes off of the wars to boot.

We do not need more mass immigration from anywhere.

And Muslim citizens should be treated like everyone else, with zero.zero.zero special privileges because of the slavery that they did not experience and the Jim Crow that they did not experience. There are other disproportionate privileges that many in all of the immigrant groups are getting, specifically tons of unearned income from .gov.

The article from Omar’s district pointed to the high Somali employment levels, using a tone that suggested this is because they are better workers than America’s 95 million out-of-the-laborforce citizens, ages 16 to 65, but it did not mention that American employers observe racist racial preferences.

To get the full picture, we also need to know how many Somalis enjoy free EBT groceries, subsidized rent, monthly cash assistance, subsidized electricity and up to $6,431 in refundable child tax credit cash for womb-productive sex in a country where rent has gone up by 72% since 1995 for the millions of American citizens whose wages are not beefed up by pay from government for womb-productive sex.

You get most of that stuff by working part time, or by working in temp jobs and ceding the welfare during months when you go over the programs’ earned-income limits, in a single-breadwinner household with kids, so “employed” people are often not too employed by design, regardless of how the uninformed press spins it.

And half of all “employed” persons in the USA just happen to be employed only part time. And the single breadwinner does not have to be an unwed mother per white & Black America, with lots of Hispanics likewise gaming the welfare system in this manner.

Granted, the War in Afghanistan wasn’t just adventurism on behalf of elite wallets.

It was necessary to respond militarily to the 9/11 mass murder of 3,000 Americans, and it is interesting that the only problem that the Rep. Omar sees with invasive surveillance in a country founded on liberty is the surveillance of one skin-pigmentation group: her own.

American citizens have suffered a huge loss of freedom since 9/11; everyone paid the price in a major loss of civil liberties. And many paid with their lives in additional terrorist acts by radical Islamic terrorists, not just Americans, either. The post-Afghanistan wars just have not worked to curtail the violence against Westerners, not that it is the fault of the troops.

It’s the fault of our leaders. It is because of their unsuccessful foreign policy and their agressive, anti-US-citizen / anti-Western immigration policy.

And the Charlie Hebdo massacre of 12 harmless cartoonists—something my mind wants to block out, a point-blank mass murder of some the few artists in the West able to make a living from traditional art techniques.

People given sanctuary in the West, with a deeply anti-Western hatred for freedom of speech, snuffed out the lives of those artists with no mercy, committing that heinous act over mere cartoons that offended their sensibility.

Something someone says or does offends me every day. The beliefs of various groups around the world offend me, but I would never dream of thinking that I had the right to stop them from believing what they believe via such heinous means.

I would never dream of going to their countries, demanding that they stop expressing themselves according to their culture’s ways, much less expecting their government to give me hiring / retention privileges in workplaces based on my skin-pigmentation hue and free living expenses—from free food, to reduced-cost rent, to $6,431 child tax credit checks to reward me for womb-productive sex.

I better not expect it, as it would not be forthcoming.

The problem that Westerners have is that people around the world believe that the West owes them due to the profits that the top 20% of Westerners have made off of foreign wars and other globalist enterprise. What was good for Western elites had bad consequences for the people in the countries that the immigrants left behind. Immigrants resent it, but they left their countries behind physically, anyway, rather than staying in their countries of origin, sacrificing material well being and using their abilities to make things better there.

Many immigrants—not just Muslims by any means—feel obligated to represent the economic and security interests of the countries and cultures they left behind, and they are getting elected to high positions in the USA.

And the top 20%ers help them while hurting the economic interests of non-immigrants in the bottom 80%, not just due to virtue signaling and not just due to the way elites benefit from cheap immigrant labor in an era when wages have fallen for 40 years for the bottom 80% of Americans, but also because elites are constantly jockeying for access to foreign money streams, foreign business opportunities and foreign contacts.

Lotta think-tank positions alone for global-traveler, top-20%er dual-earner couples, willing to pitch the economic interests of foreign nations, much less all of the other business opportunities with multi-national US-owned companies that have shipped millions of US jobs and the SS contributions that would have been made if the jobs had stayed here into a middle-class-demolishing black hole overseas. And no, the “black” was not intended to be a racist pun.

That’s why I’m not at all convinced that educated, young, white elites are motivated to embrace globalism by kumbaya idealism. I think many are motivated by cold, hard $$$$$. College grads with one degree are one of the most underemployed groups in the USA, and there is an excess of grad-degree holders, too, especially those with non-technical, non-scientific degrees. They see globalist ideas as opportunistic money makers.

That said, I had an opportunity to watch some C-SPAN recently, and in the hearing that I saw, Rep. Omar was asking questions pertinent to the subject, which had nothing to do with her race and religion. I realize that it’s just one hearing, but she acted professionally there, not like in the other unprofessional snippets of statements from her that I have seen.

We need to hold these politicians at $174k responsible for representing the interests of the majority of US citizens, not just the immigrants but also the non-immigrants who are making bank off of destroying the US middle class via globalism, but what are the chances with so many foreign $$$$ flying around and greedy elites, claiming that everything they do is motivated by concern for mommies & babies, their own and the ones birthed by the immigrants?

It is the perfect cover for unadulterated greed and putting your own country last.

I have always found the whole idea of serious "discrimination" against Jews in Middle Ages to be somewhat weird.
European civilization was explicitly Christian. Everyone was expected to convert, those who did not were forced to do so by threat of death. The only exception were Jews who were allowed to keep their non-Christian religion. In that sense, not only that they were not discriminated against, they were specially protected and tolerated, compared to, for example, pagan religions. But, of course, due to their different religion, they were excluded from lots of public life, rising to suspicion and overt conflicts. Later, when religious tolerance was established after the 30-year war, this was interpreted as intolerance. But in the core it was originally an act of tolerance that allowed them to keep their separate religion in otherwise monoreligious Europe.

Again, not much difference here between the sack of the First Rome in 410, the sack of the Second Rome in 1204 and the sack of the Third Rome in 1991. As psychologists well know, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

But all three Romes were empires too filled with lies.
