RSSI would love to live in a country made up of men with such integrity and guts.
You don’t even post with your real name.

It should be read in conjunction with Go Set a Watchman. Such buildup to the release and then, what a surprise.
When my kids were younger I was asked by a friend what advice I would give my children on picking a college. I told her that I would advise my children to go to a school with a favorable sex ratio because the most important thing in life is finding a good spouse.
Thus when we were ready to move to Wisconsin and my daughter was ready to start college I suggested Plateville (it has an unusually high m/f ratio). Of course, she picked a nice and expensive small liberal arts college instead.
C’mon Steve you are better than this. There are so many unknowns that reasonable people can disagree as to the correct actions. On top of that there is a good chance that the one size fits all solution is incorrect. These young men you disparage might actually be acting rationally.
Here is a good article on the topic (more data and less snark).

Left me wondering the motivation for leaving the data aggregated by sex and age.
Yes. I agree that there is an issue here. There is an over reliance on Backman.
Backman used Project Talent and the Project Talent data is publically available (ie, you can download it), but the base year data doesn’t include a question on religion (that information was collected in a subsequent wave).

I tried to overcome the lack of a religion question in the data here and describe some of the issues with Backman’s analysis here.

Other estimates using different data sets can be found here, along with the use of the Project Talent religion question.

Good overall point on the quality/quantity of the data. I hope the response helps.
Reg, might you have any further information? I am very curious about this possibility. Thank you.
