That the Chinese never discovered anything--not even Australia--is evidence of the profound lack of curiosity in the Chinese population. Not a single element or star was discovered by the Chinese. By 1900, Americans and Europeans knew more about China than the Chinese government.

With respect to infrastructure, all the important players are from USA/Europe. The Chinese are just laborers and low level engineers on these projects. Even the chief engineers and project managers are usually from Netherlands, Germany, UK, Australia, Canada, and US. Nearly every major skyscraper in China was designed by Western firms. However, equating Japanese with Ainu is incorrect. About 35 percent of Japanese males(national average) harbor a subclade of Y haplo group D-M174(ie the haplo group D1 you mentioned).
 

Futhermore, D isn't the only Jomon haplogroup. C1 and C2 are found in Ainu and were present i the archipelago prior to Yayoi immigration; and I've never read anything linking these haplotypes to Yayoi, so the C1 and C2 in Japanese can be combined with D.

And the Ainu/Jomon haplotypes become EVEN MORE COMMON among the North Japanese who are supposed by you to have "subdued" the Ainu. Even though there is scant mtDNA contribution from Jomon/Ainu women to the north Japanese.

So we can garner the following hypotheses from the genetic evidence:

- Jomon males made the biggest singular contribution to the Japanese Y-DNA samples, and bout 50% of the total

- Jomon female contribution to Japanese is comparatively tiny

- Japanese emperors and most Daimyo clans carry the D1b haplogroup from North Japan

- Japanese men "subdued" north Japan basically by marrying their wives to Ainu

Which does not add up to any "subduing" of Ainu or Jomon in the traditional sense. And the funny thing is that this had all been predicted by the late 1980s by anthropologists:

Findings by American anthropologist C. Loring Brace, University of Michigan, will surely be controversial in race conscious Japan. By the way, I have come to believe that using Wuhan virus is what we should be doing, and it's not a casual racist troll. German soldiers inflicted higher casualties in every engagement against allied troops, not to mention Russians, even while attacking.

By contrast, Japanese defenders - and defensive positions generally inflict 3 times higher casualties on an attacking force - actually inflicted fewer casualties in the attacking American forces than they sufferers.

Japanese forces also were defeated on land by Russian forces earlier in the century, without being massively outnumbered or overextended deep inside Russia in the winter, as the Germans were later.

I have the highest respect for the Japanese fighting spirit, and in some ways their sheer fighting spirit was higher than the German, as they were more willing to fight to the death. This is what we'd expect from a country just come out of feudalism, whereas Germany was too far gone in modernity.

And Japanese fighting ability was undoubtedly the best in Asia. But they could not quite match Europeans or Americans in warrior prowess, after all is said and done, at least back then.

Today might well be a different story.

China has a Korean minority now; historically Korean kingdoms embraced the role of China's little sister, or something like first after the hegemon (in other words, in almost every century, better than Japan), but at no time do they not see themselves as ethnic Koreans. China actually did briefly take over the peninsula following a rebellion. They're pretty distinct apart from adopting the ethnic name of their overlord for their own people ("Han"). Also, East Asian women have higher desirability rating than Mexican women, Hindu women, and Arab women. So, they are sought out more by non-Asian men. Also, there is more of a cultural factor of sticking together among Hindus and Arab Muslims. In contrast, East Asians in the West tend to be more white-bread than white. They are anemic in their sense of tribalism or bloodlines. Their main identity is status, and that means they will go with anyone to raise their status.

Amy Chua wrote about tribalism, but I wonder if that is the main factor in our globalized world. Isn't Primalism or Optimalism the primary forces? After all, if people are so tribal, why are so many non-whites willing to give up their nations, kinfolks, and culture to come to the West and start anew with new constructed identities? Why do most kids of these parents lose their language of origin? Why do they show no interest in their own tribal culture and only indulge in pop culture?
Also, true tribalism has to be about unity of men and women of a race. But we see alarming rise of jungle fever among white women. And so many Asian women like Chua go with Jewish or white men. And intermarriage among Jews have skyrocketed. Also, Muslims join the US military and serve the War Machine to smash Muslim nations.

It seems people are driven more by primalism. It is about reaching the optimal midpoint between the individual will to power and the submissive willingness to cower(before the true power). Imagine a pack of wolves where each wolf wants to be the leader. Each tries to optimize its status. So, they fight. But there can be only one winner, so others will have to seek a midpoint between the desire to reach as high as possible and the willingness to cower before the real alpha.
It's like the scene in EXCALIBUR when Arthur fights with Lancelot. Lancelot is a warrior who will take on anyone. But Arthur draws power from the sword and beats him. And then, Lancelot is humble before Arthur and willing to serve him most loyally. He reached the midpoint between his will to rule and his willingness to serve. (Granted, Arthur won by cheating, and this becomes the basis of what goes wrong with Camelot in the end.) In the US, everyone wants to be the winner. Tony Montana or Gordon Gekko. But most people can't rise to the top. So, they reach as high as possible and then try to serve the uppermost power. Primalism is about optimizing one's individual talent as far as it will go, but when the limit is met, Will to Power gives into Willingness to Cower before the Real Power. And primalism affects the sexes differently, and this undermines tribalism. This may be most pronounced among East Asians where women have high sexual market value and men have low sexual market value.

So, what is really distinctive about CRA is that the Asian girl goes with an Asian guy. While such is not taboo in Hollywood, it is rare because the general impression is that Asian men aren't exciting. And if Asian women really do have sexual value, they should be matched with men with sexual value, like whites or blacks. Why should Asian female winners go with Asian male losers?

But then, notice that the guy in CRA has to be superduper rich to get the girl. So, what is the message? It actually conforms to the Hollywood stereotype. For Asian men, it's bucks or shucks.
Unless you got serious bucks, Asian men might as well just give it up and be like the dufus in FARGO.

Teenagers nowadays hardly date, it's ridiculous. They don't have any interests beyond the doors of their bedrooms. They have terrible social skills. And not just the nerds, it's everyone aside from perhaps the jocks.

Secondly, the problem is not diversity, but the intelligence, culture and character of people that determine whether diversity works or not. For instance, white nationalists tend to be what we call in popular language “white trash”. There are exceptions, but in general white racists/nationalists are not the best and brightest of white people.

Regarding the Yamnaya, contrary to Nordic fantasies, the vast majority of them had brown eyes and a skin tone lighter than Africans,. but darker than even modern southern Europeans. In fact, they looked like modern Turks and Afghanis. We now know which gene alleles are responsible for eye, hair and skin color, and the DNA extracted from steppe nomads buried in Kurgans indicates they had mostly brown eyes and moderately brown skin, with black hair being preponderant, with red hair being in the minority. In fact, only red hair has been found to be associated with the Yamnaya. But red hair was in the tiny minority. All other eye and hair colors other than dark were not evident in Yamnaya samples. As the Yamnaya herdsmen moved into Europe, their skin became lighter because western Europe is cloudy, and white skin helps to absorb ultraviolet rays for vitamin D production. As for light-colored eyes and hair, it seems to be mostly the result of sexual selection of pretty women. The Yamnaya raiders prefered to mate with women that carried the genetic mutations for light-colored eyes and hair as they are more visually appealing, so these genetic mutations spread. In fact, when it comes to blue eyes, it seems like this eye color is a very ancient mutation that was already present in western Europe some 20,000 years ago, much before the Yamnaya even existed. The Yamnaya were also tall due to their high-protein diet. So to imagine what a Yamnaya male looked like in the latter Copper/early Bronze Age some 5,000 years ago, imagine a huge man with the skin and eye color of a Sicilian, reddish brown hair and a big Armenian nose.

Another thing: the Yamnaya were a mix of these eastern European Paleolithic hunter-gatherers with an Iranian people that were isolated geographically for some 12,000 years. The Iranians were the minority of the Yamnaya, but they were the leaders. *All* the male aristocrats that have been analysed had the R1-b haplogroup, which originated in northwestern Iran. This Iranian population were just as tall as the EEHG, but they had a more gracile bodybuild typical of mediterraneans. They also carried the gene alleles for red hair – although red hair was in the minority among them. They became the ruling caste of the Yamnaya because they were more technologically advanced than the EEHG: they had chariots and metal-smelting technology and were more organized. They also had the typical Patriarchal structure typical of Indo-Europeans.

Another thing: even the Yamnaya were not pure “Aryan”: the majority of their ancestry was of eastern European hunter-gatherers. Conversely, the mitochondrial and patrilineal DNA associated with Indo-Europeans, the R1-a, R1-b, U, I, J, etc, all originated in the area that now is northwestern Iran. The Indo-European genetics represented only 30-40% of Yamnaya DNA. As the Yamnaya moved into Europe, their Indo-European genetics became even more diluted. Western Europeans average 25% Yamnaya ancestry and only 15% from the aristocratic Iranian ruling caste of the Yamnaya.

Sailer is right that northern Europeans average higher steppe ancestry than southern Europeans. Yamnaya ancestry peaks in Norway at around 50%, and around 40% for other Scandinavian countries and Germany. Teh higher steppe ancestry of northern Europeans is evident, among other things, in them being taller and more lactose tolerant than souther Europeans, which indicates a nomadic ancestry.

However, extreme Western Europeans and Iberians have a higher proportion of “noble” paternal Indo-European DNA than northern Europeans. The haplogroup most strongly associated with Yamnaya aristocrats was the R1-b haplogroup, and this peaks Wales and Spain, followed by Ireland and Scotland. That is, the dark Welsh and Spaniards have less overall steppe ancestry than Scandinavians and Germans, but they have more *noble* paternal Indo-European ancestry than Scandinavians and Germans. Scandinavians have very little R1-b paternal ancestry, and the R1-a haplogroup, another one associated with Indo-Europeans, is in the minority. The R1-a peaks in Poland, and eastern Europeans also have more paternal Indo-European ancestry than Scandinavians and Germans, although not of the aristocratic sort. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hernan Cortez turned out be R1-b by paternal ancestry: this particular haplogroup seems to be associated with ferocious destructive masculine behavior.

Also, even though the Yamnaya were conquerors, they were still savages. Their only ability, like that of the Mongols and other steppe peoples, was violence. By every metric of civilization, they were primitive barbarians. Having a lot of Indo-European ancestry is nothing to brag about.

For instance, ancient Hellas is generally considered to be the greatest civilization to have ever existed in the face of the Earth. Of all the Greek city-states, the most accomplished by far, intellectually, and culturally, was Athens. And the Athenians had the *least* steppe ancestry of all the Greek city-states. In fact, the Athenians were of almost pure Pelasgian ancestry. The Pelasgians were the old Europeans from before the Indo-European invasions. The Greek city-state with the highest amount of Indo-European ancestry was Sparta, and they were the least accomplished of all Greek city-states except for certain aspects of military strategy. In fact, the accomplishments of the Spartans were pitiful.

In Rome, the Indo-European Latins conquered the Etruscans and Sabines, but they submitted to the superior culture of these old European civilizations. In fact, the Sabines were vastly overrepresented among the ranks of Patrician families in ancient Rome. Blue eyes and light-colored hair were more common among Plebeians than among Patricians. This despite the fact that the light-colored Indo-European Latini conquered them. The majority of the most exalted Patrician gentes in ancient Rome were of Sabine and old European ancestry, such as the Valerii, Sulpicci. Manlii, Caludii, Sergii, etc. There were few Latin Patrician gentes, like the Fabii and the Iulii.

The pattern appears to be the same in everywhere: tall, ferocious, militarized and Patriarchal Indo-Europeans invade other civilizations and become a warrior elite, or submit to a superior civilization. This happened in India, ancient Hellas and Italy and Latin America. In India and Latin America, they became a warrior/oligarchic elite. In western Europe, they mixed with the local population and became indistinguishable from them. In southern Europe, they became a warrior elite but submitted to the greatness and superiority of old European civilizations. The Indo-European Latins became the most ferocious defenders first of the Etruscan civilization and then of the great Hellenic civilization, which was created mostly by the old European Pelasgians. They adopted everything from Old Europeans, even in dress, as they recognized these civilizations to be far superior to what they brought from the steppes. In China, you would see a similar pattern, with the Mongols eventually submitting to the superiority of Han China. Steppe peoples, whether Caucasian like the Yamnaya or Mongoloid like the Mongols, are just not very good at this whole civilization thing, which is so beneficial to everybody.

In fact, the primitivism of northern Europeans with their high amount of steppe ancestry in the ancient World, and now their high degree of development in the modern World, is the best evidence *against* a genetic fatalistic outview on human society. If it were all to genetics, then northern Europeans should have always been more advanced than southern Europeans, which was definitely not the case for thousands of years. Only in the last 500 years or so did this become true. People and peoples change. 2,000 years is a very short scale in evolutionary terms, so at least most of the change can be attributed to environmental influences rather than genetic change.

All Russian military personnel, past and current, that I have ever known are like this. For some reasons I know, and many others I don't, there is a strong cultural Sinophobia that runs through the Russian armed forces. They seem to have much more respect for, and trust of, their American counterparts. Southeast Asians are not Caucasians. Today's Indians are not the original Aryan Indians. Only a tiny minority of the Brahmin caste would be Caucasian.

Semites comprise several groups. Today's Jews are mixed Asian/black/European. They are not white. The Ashkenazi Jews were considered Caucasian but they are dying out and today's Jews are very mixed.

Syrian Christians are Caucasians. Syrian Muslims range from Caucasian to black.

Muslim Palestinians have a lot of black mixture with Arab. I've seen Palestinians in Israel and they are not Caucasian. The Christian Palestinians are Caucasian. I think the Asian women who play up this stereotype are doing it out of insecurity. They probably feel like that is the only way they could out hot the white girls to get guys' attention, and are too immature to realize that kind of behavior will only draw the wrong kind of attention. They were also egged on by our rotten pop culture with shows like Sex and the City which promoted promiscuity as feminism, and thought that that was the only way to gain acceptance into a white dominant culture...by acting more like white women. What they didn't get was most white women do not act that way.

Perhaps the one good thing that could come out of this latest PC/feminist wave is that young people will no longer feel like they need to party hard or do what they don't really want to do to gain acceptance, whether by the opposite sex or by their peers. In fact there are signs this is already happening. The Gen Z who are currently in middle school and high school might be the most conservative generation since the 1950s. The implosion of Harveywood will hopefully bring an end to the rotten excesses of the past 5 decades.

It is almost difficult for me to stifle a chuckle whenever I hear this assertion.

Why are people who tend to have opaque, jaundiced-looking skin that tans to Indian levels of negritude, large, broad, flat faces with small facial features and small foreheads, large teeth, stiff, bristly hair, small breasts, thick, stubby legs, etc. claimed to be "particularly beautiful" women? Most of them are precisely the opposite in my estimation, though a minority of them are in fact very beautiful. However, even the ones who are physically beautiful naturally and not by means of cosmetic or surgical enhancements tend to have the expressionless poker face that is typical of their folk, though I suspect that that dourness is at least in some part a learned cultural behavior.

One physical advantage that a majority of Asian women currently have over a majority of White women is slimness, which must be mostly a result of differing dietary habits. (Considering only individuals who are not overweight, White women tend to have more feminine figures with a lower WHR. The typical Asian woman would be better described as "not overweight" rather than "svelte.") I suppose one could add "low body height" to the short list of Asian female physical advantages, since a certain subset of men seems to have a taste for that. One physical feature that I actually do find more attractive on average in Asians is their relatively underdeveloped chins, which appear feminine to me (although it is also a primitive feature as far as I know).

In summary, I would say that the average White woman has the upper hand over the average Asian woman (over the typical female member of any non-White race for that matter) in terms of their innate personal endowments. However, Asian women definitely lead the pack when it comes to "added value" acquired through their own efforts: effective use of cosmetic and sartorial enhancements, deportment, obsequiousness, etc. Even their diction and tone of voice is a ruse and not natural by any means; one may observe that the average Asian woman actually has a quite husky voice and is brash in speech if one happens to catch her off guard (which is rare) chatting in what she believes to be a private space. In other words, Asian women tend to make great use of their cunning to make up for what they lack in beauty and gentleness.
