RSSHey! Good on you bro. I was raised a Christian Zionist, but saw the light on that whilst keeping my faith. Keep going! I love hearing about Jews converting without falling into the no man’s land of apocalyptic zionist fables as some kind of compensation.
That isn’t true that God of the bible at no time cared about any of the othe rnations apart from Jews.
There are so many examples that it really renders what you’ve said to be silly. Laurent here is just grinding his personal axe against Christianity, which sometimes I suspect is sharper than his axe against chosen people.
Jonah was sent to Nineveh to preach repentance because God cared about even the cows there and didn’t want to have to destroy them. King Nebachadnezar was King of Babylon and God transformed his life and rescued him from insanity, to the point that he actually writes a chapter of Daniel himself. God was very concerned with the nations around. The fact that he required some of them to be wiped out is missing the context of the fact that their number was up, God had judged them, independently. Just as he will soon settle the matter concerning the USA, in all probability, and they and all the west will face the music. None of that should justify an ongoing war with anyone given that we dont really know where all these bloodlines went. The New Testament does not call for any physical warfare, so most likely if there is an on going conflict continuing it is a spiritual one. How do we know those blooodlines didn’t go into Judaism?
It’s true that the Jews had a special role. But they confused their role with a title. And now there isn’t even a role for them since Christ. It is just a group of people trying to bring it all back by themselves, where the role is played now by whoever wants to be a servant of Christ, or even just someone who does good to others and does what is right, lets start with that if you can’t stretch to Jesus – not by what bloodline you have.
