Lefties are predictably claiming that Trump’s rhetoric radicalized the El Paso shooter, but it seems more plausible that Trump’s lack of action on immigration may have contributed to that.
 

People are incredibly innumerate about immigration, and I often find them surprised when I tell them that what we have had since 1965 is unprecedented in human history. It is estimated that English America, from Jamestown in 1607 to around 1957, a period of 350 years, took in about 42 million settlers, colonists, pioneers and immigrants. But from 1965 until today, a period of just 54 years, we've taken in 60 million with no end in sight.

Yet there was never a bottom-up push for mass immigration. It was always directed from the top down. And those at the top benefited while those at the bottom picked up the social and other costs associated with such an unprecedented population infusion.

Yet rather than acknowledge this and throttle back, the top has decided to increase the rate of flow. What surprises me is not this shooter in El Paso, or the guy in Christchurch. I'm surprised we are still at the point where you can count these events on one or two hands. Recall at the peak of the insurgency in Iraq there were car bombs and IEDs going off left and right. So many that one could not readily keep track of them.

I find it remarkable that Americans have so far shied away from violence and attempted to use the ballot box to address their grievances. Yet the top has ignored this time and time again. As others have said, Trump might be the last peaceful option. If the top doesn't like Trump, they will probably dislike what comes after Trump even more.

Every time someone does something that discredits your side, the knee jerk reaction is to immediately dismiss it as "a false flag operation". They can't ALL be false flag operations. This is letting off your side too easy. The right, like every other group, has some bad actors, people who are shy of a full picnic, etc. This doesn't mean that the entire right is tainted. Denial is a natural human response and no one wants to see their side painted in press as a bunch of Nazis, but these shootings do happen and they can't all be false flags.

Breaking late tonight: SUPPOSEDLY another active shooting in Dayton, Ohio.

Supposedly? What, those people are faking being dead? They are crisis actors?
