The jews resumed their trip the next day without incident. There is a pending lawsuit against the airline for refusing to allow them to "fly while stinky". Chutzpah, indeed.

Not quite - marijuana is legal in NYC and NY - lots of "smoke shops" are selling it now - last I heard there was a single (1) retail vendor for it in NYC - but 10os of smoke shops and little groceries etc are selling. Almost no enforcement - selling it unlicensed is some sort of minor crime; but the pot itself is not.

Plenty of black American and elsewhere language teachers in China. I recall reading a story in Quora. A white foreigner saw a popular former black employee in an American supermarket He called out, "Hi how are you". Everyone in hearing distance including the former employee froze in horror. Speaking of government schools: my two children attended an "urban" (largely black) school for some years. I had a brief conversation with a school board member who, now I realize based on his looks and surname, may have been a sephardic jew. He was very much into celebrating diversity. I asked him about a recent study that had shown phonics instruction was best for teaching reading. He didn't like phonics, instead preferred "whole language." (Basically, learning through seeing the words, etc.) We had a little back-and-forth about it until he finally lowered his head, lowered his voice, and said, "You know, _social change_." That is the only quasi-direct admission I've seen that not using phonics instruction had some other function: intentionally handicap students? It would be easier to weaponize students against civilized society.

In 6th grade, the literature assigned in English was really politicized (Sojourner Truth, Malcolm X, Rigoberta Menchu, et al) One of several reasons my kids were shortly out of there. Also, they couldn't form correct sentences and paragraphs or spell very well. Well, or do multiplication and division either. A good private school whipped them into shape pretty quickly.

A few years later, I attended an afternoon event at the high school. The students were very lightly supervised and were allowed to behave very uncivilly. No surprise at all how some blacks behave in public now. They were probably "educated" at one of the bad public schools.
