The Chindians on the other hand have some of the lowest cultural assimilation index (not at all surprised here. I work with these people especially the hindoos almost every day. They are mostly Australoids with some Aryan admixture (increasing as you go from the south towards the north and more in the upper castes). Robert Lindsay’s site has been pulled down but I learned quite a lot from him regarding Indian ethnic composition.
