RSSConflating Biblical truth and apostolic faith in Jesus Christ with either Roman Catholic “Christianity” and/or Protestant denominational dogma is misguided at best and disingenuous at worst. One might consider heeding the words of this most relevant proverb: ‘Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.”
The author is spot on with his analysis. Though I am not a learned man, over the years I have developed a keen sense of discernment. Rare is the case of an event, movement or public personality that I have completely, or even partially, misread. The Covid-19 upheaval, and the governmental overreaction (at all levels) is no exception. In very early March, 2020, when lockdowns were first being implemented, my initial reaction was “This is a ruse, and we’re being played like never before.” I hadn’t the time yet to fully comprehend what all was behind this hysterical charade, but I instinctively knew it had nothing whatsoever to do with safeguarding public health. Well, eight months in and absolutely nothing has come to pass that would alter my original presumption in the slightest. If anything, I am even more skeptical and have grown undeniably more disheartened in my fellow citizenry. So many that, up until this manufactured crisis was forced upon us, I considered levelheaded and grounded in reality, have shown themselves to be no more than easily manipulated lemmings guided by irrational fears, willing to acquiesce to the most stultifying, authoritarian dictates all for the sake of “safety.” Speaking of which, if I hear one more person say “stay safe” I may just have to disabuse them of that notion.
