In most any cold winter large city, an operative can dupe a freezing hobo into spending a "free" warm night in jail with three hots and a cot. Even a street cop and a jailer can be recruited to help. Life is cheap.

Certaldo felt so intimate, sir, I couldn't see it as anything but a village, but then I lived in Certaldo Alto, within the medieval walls. The DC city government has already moved in that direction. This summer it proposed changing WDC (Washington, District of Columbia) to Washington, Douglass Commonwealth, as in Frederick Douglass. I have no reason to believe it will stop there. When they get their way (and eventually they will), the other shoe will drop and they'll simply drop the "Washington" part, or replace it with something like Reverend Martin Luther King City, Douglass Commonwealth.

You might say, "Oh, Congress would never go for that." As the riots were taking place across the country, two Republican congressmen proposed dumping Columbus Day and replacing it with Juneteenth. That leads me to believe that the supposed conservatives will fold completely when faced by orc demands. The Republicans simply have no backbone and won't resist.

We can laugh now but our country is indeed being lost, and this is only one of the ways. Heck, just look at your TV these days and you'd think, given the orcs in nearly all of the commercials, that you now live in Africa.

This trend is going to continue. There's no reason to believe it will stop now.

Eventually even the orcs will realize that the Confederacy lasted for only a few short years and that the dreaded slavery existed for many years under the US flag and US government, and they'll demand that both go. People talk about South Africa 2.0. Well, remember that the RSA got a new flag too. Our day will come as well, and our type of government will undergo changes too, especially when senile President Sniffy-Squeezy steps aside and Comrade Harris assumes the throne.

As for George Mason High School, one of the crazy things is that you hardly see any black kids walking out of there when class lets out. It's mostly white kids. Liberal/leftist/BLM-worshipping white adults are pushing this. I live not far from where this is taking place and, while I don't have any family members who ever went to school at George Mason HS, I do have family members who almost wet their pants at the thought of BLM. I don't understand how I'm related to such people.

Wrong on every point. The 14-bis could not turn, so it was not a real aeroplane. When it made its first 20 second "flight" of a mere 160 feet in a straight line at an altitude so low it would hit a man standing in its path, the Wright's a YEAR PREVIOUS had made a 40 minute flight of 24 miles in a circling flight plan. The Wright Flyers took off under its own power, no catapult was used. Compare the Wright Flyer with the Santos-Dumont 14-bis. The Wright Flyer has the clean simple lines of a winning design, the Santos-Dumont 14-bis looks like an absurd contraption made for a comedy routine. If the thing can't turn and maneuvor in flight, it is not an aeroplane, it is a joke on a very short flight to a fatal crash.

In the 1950s several of my adult relatives occasionally travelled to England. From Australia. They all, always, travelled by ship. The ship always stopped at Aden on the way.
