This anonymously posted video is supposedly from a middle distance race at a high school track meet in Kissimmee, Florida in recent days. According to TMZ, this was the 1600 meters race at the Tohopekaliga Tiger Invitational last Saturday. That was a day before the Will Smith Slap. The somewhat vague story is that the...

Data from the census in 2020 on the % of white kids among the overall under age 18 population. Here are the 20 whitest states. Not much time left for a secession movement like Greater Idaho to be able to preserve even a white supermajority country.

    Tennessee 61.7
    Kansas 61.9
    Pennsylvania 63.0
    Michigan 63.2
    Minnesota 64.1
    Nebraska 65.0
    Indiana 66.3
    Ohio 66.9
    Wisconsin 67.1
    Missouri 68.2
    South Dakota 68.8
    Utah 70.4
    Idaho 71.1
    North Dakota 72.7
    Wyoming 73.5
    Iowa 73.5
    Montana 74.2
    Kentucky 74.3
    New Hampshire 79.8
    Vermont 83.5
    Maine 83.5
    West Virginia 84.8

    Replies: @Almost Missouri, @Q-ship

New Hampshire-79.8% of under 18’s White. Astonishing. My small high school of about 250 students in early 1990’s New Hampshire was 100% White.

  • An iSteve commenter asks: With the crime rate up during the "racial reckoning," it's worth asking for comments on the safety of the streets around colleges that attract out-of-towners, such as Penn in the Ivy League. I'll begin with my impression of SoCal colleges. Keep in mind that I'm 6'4" and I don't get much...

Georgia Tech (in downtown Atlanta) has its own state-chartered police dept. with full powers of arrest. It's been close to 40 years since I attended, but in the early 80s, there were areas just off campus that you wanted to avoid.

A couple of years ago I was playing chess with a guy who was a law student at Rutgers-Camden. The U made it clear to him not to walk off campus in any direction. If he had to leave, then drive.

    Replies: @Q-ship

The Georgia Tech campus is safe, with a heavy police presence. Probably the safest place in Atlanta. The area immediately to the east of campus is ok, at least during daylight hours.

  • 1968, like 1848, was one of those landmark years in history. If certain years were momentous in a particular region, 1968 witnessed turmoil in many parts of the world. Some of these events were isolated while others were part of a seismic pattern. Just to name a few: The Tet Offensive that convinced the majority...
  • The Who blew everyone else away (including the Stones) at the Rock and Roll Circus with “A Quick One (While He’s Away)”. Legendary performance.

    • Thanks: Mark G.

    @Q-ship

    Absolutely 100% goddamned right.

    , @Jung Freud
    @Q-ship

Well, that's hardly surprising. When it came to sheer volume, The Who was hard to beat. (No wonder they were among the first rockers to go deaf. They played LOUD.)

Stones couldn't compete on volume(and speed) with The Who, but they had other tricks up their sleeves. Jagger couldn't belt out a song like Daltrey, Stones guitar sound wasn't as pounding, and Watts wasn't a crazy man like Keith Moon.

OT, but this raises the question of why low-level workers are being drug tested to begin with. They aren't pretty much anyplace else on earth.

When surgeons and other doctors are required to be drug tested before they cut the rest of us open, I'll believe that drug testing has something to do with keeping us all safe. Keeping in mind that one person’s outlandish conspiracy theory is another person’s truism, and that the mainstreamers’ beliefs and statements about these matters are often the most insane, idiotic, disgusting, and criminal of all, I would argue that it’s the New York Times editors, writers, and readers, not people like Jonathan Revusky, whose “personality flaws are so severe as to quite possibly approach clinical mental illness.”

Well stated Kevin. You leave out RU himself as part of the NYTimes mental health psycho ward. Why? I think this comment about JR by RU is very cruel and also false:

He’s not a stupid fellow and he sometimes makes some interesting points, but his obvious personality flaws are so severe as to quite possibly approach clinical mental illness.

Listen to him on these links and he sounds like a very sane sober person:

Unfortunately, a very level-headed commenter from Iceland made very similar remarks a few days ago:

Off topic I guess, but here in Iceland we are discovering that vaccines are not that good at creating the heard immunity everyone was waiting for.

After enjoying mask-free, no social distancing and covid free society for the past few weeks we are seeing exponential surge in infections. According to official reports the highest rate of infections ever seen. This is happening with 85% of the population vaccinated. Numbers as high as 90% having gotten one doze have been reported. I believe we are close to the world record in this regard.

Yesterday 56 tested positive, thereof 46 fully vaccinated. And even worse one fully vaccinated individual infected six people, just to give one example.

In short: Fully vaccinated people test positive and infect others. And few fully vaccinated have gotten sick, even hospitalized. Medical chief at our biggest hospital expects a wave coming his way in about 14 days.

Needless to say the mood over here is dropping like stone.

With regard to widespread or pandemic viral infections, it seems that the general trend is usually (not always) toward decreased virulence over time. Having a virus mutate to become more contagious and more virulent seems to be a less likely scenario. It makes one wonder if the “delta variant” is the result of mutations from the original strain, or is another laboratory creation.

The push back is not against the virus having some health effects. The pushback is against its weight on the overall population, once you get passed the all important emotional headspin, the numbers are simply not catastrophic and would not have been with the lock down. They would have been but a brief phase and all of the internal numbers on the virus make that point. Nearly everyone who contracts the illness survives.

There was pushback here on Unz and in the White house against videos that were showing Italian hospitals loaded with bodies.

I remember the pushback well because I pointed out they were cause for concern as the hospitals were not able to function. People with injuries were being told to stay home.

I am quite optimistic about our long term prospects. There are still 200 million Whites in this country. Even 30% of that would still be one of the most populous White nations on Earth. South Africa and Rhodesia are not good comparisons, as they were hopelessly outnumbered.

The process of having more Whites crossing the great divide to our side has to play out, and this can’t occur without additional trials and unpleasant occurrences. Read about the few Whites left to fend for themselves in the Superdome in the aftermath of Katrina. They learned very quickly what they needed to do to survive.

The current stressors are less severe for now, but they will necessarily have to increase to arrive at the same result. A Trump or Biden victory may increase the stressors in different ways, but they will increase regardless. More and more will make the journey to our side. A beneficial boiling off will occur. This will be a multigenerational project. Secede in your mind, marry and have lots of White children, and start to build communities. Be realistic, but optimistic.

Even his enemies would have to concede that Trump triumphed where his Republican predecessors — even Ronald Reagan, who filled three court vacancies — fell short. The problem with “conservative” justices is twofold. First, the Supreme Court wields enormous power with their ability to create or reinterpret laws. This power is maintained by continued judicial activism, not by being a constitutionalist referee. The temptation to use this power is strong, and most of the Republican appointees seem to succumb at some point. Second, the Federalist Society tries to find originalist judges who will rule impartially on the constitutionality of laws, while the left finds blatant partisans who write laws. Just another way the Republicans bring a knife to a gunfight, and continue to lose.
