One of my complaints about mainstream media is that they recruit reporters from inside the establishment: Ivy League colleges, expensive graduate journalism programs, rival outlets with similar hiring practices. Some staffs develop admirable levels of gender and racial diversity. But they all come from the same elite class. Rich kids believe in the system and...
  • Fun stuff, for sure. Those big fat elephants in Ted’s room.

Oh, when were those glory days of journalism? I was a beat reporter for several rags, and then carried on later in life while cobbling together part-time college teaching, freelance writing, part-time regular newspaper work, and, well, more.

The idea of FBI and cops having this wonderful data collection system, all the info on us, including traffic tickets, all of the fines, all the late payments, all those penalties, tolls, surcharges, evictions, terminations, foreclosures. Oh, all that data, the stuff to help us all in corporate America.

Oh, all those data apps and surveillance tools crated by those private companies. All of that stuff, we, the taxpayer dole out as not just corporate welfare, but massive trillions in criminal enterprises called Capitalism.

We’ll get that chip that Ted wants. Get all that stuff on the chip — education, police records, journalism stuff, anything we’ve posted on line, our whereabouts each day of the week, our purchases, our credit score, our life score.

So, then, you report you have Omega-cron, and then, who gets that, and what do “they” do with “that” information? You think a record of SARS-CoV2 will help you if you get any number of long term disabling diseases? • The Brennan Center for Justice recently reported that more than 400 voter suppression laws were introduced in 49 states last year. Nineteen of those states passed more than 30 such laws, signaling the biggest attack on voting rights since just after the Civil War. And add to that another sobering reality — two presidential elections have now taken place without the full protections of the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

This attack on democracy, if unmet, could alter the nature of American elections for at least a generation to come. And yet, so far, it’s been met with an anemic response from a painfully divided Congress and the Biden administration. Despite much talk about the need to reform democracy, Congress left for the holidays without restoring the Voting Rights Act or passing the For the People Act, which would protect the 55 million voters who live in states with new anti-voter laws that limit access to the ballot. If those bills don’t pass in January (or only a new proposal by Republican senators and Joe Manchin to narrowly reform the Electoral Count Act of 1887 is passed), it may prove to be too late to save our democracy !

BOth sides of the syphilitic party line, sickening —

Robert Maxell, using Mossad-derived money, paid Tower $200,000 for his services, which included opening doors —not just to the Los Alamos complex but also to the Reagan White House. PROMIS was then sold to the laboratories through a US-based company that Maxwell had purchased in 1981 and transformed into a front for Mossad. That company, called Information on Demand, was headed by Maxwell’s daughter Christine Maxwell beginning in 1985 until Robert’s death in 1991, during which period she helped sell the bugged PROMIS software to several Fortune 500 companies. Isabel Maxwell, sister to Ghislaine and Christine, would also work at the company before its closure in 1991.

After the attacks of September 11, 2001, Christine Maxwell teamed up with CIA official Alan Wade to market homeland-security software known as Chiliad to the US national security state, while Isabel would work closely at the intersection between Israeli intelligence and its private technology sector around that same period. Ghislaine, along with her two intelligence and technology-connected sisters, would hold a significant stake in a technology company that appears to be the actual origin of the Bill Gates-Jeffrey Epstein relationship, as explained in this Unlimited Hangout investigative report from May.

A few years after its acquisition by the Maxwells, Information on Demand was investigated by the FBI for its intelligence links beginning in 1983. However, that investigation was repeatedly shut down by higher-ups in the Meese-led Department of Justice, which, as previously mentioned, had been complicit in the whole sordid PROMIS affair. The investigation was shut down for good in 1985. The cover-up, oddly enough, continues today, with the FBI still refusing to release documents pertaining to Robert Maxwell and his role in the PROMIS scandal.

At the time, the halting of the FBI investigation green-lighted Information on Demand’s sale of PROMIS to Sandia National Laboratories, which provided Israeli intelligence with direct access to the core of the US nuclear weapons programs and nuclear weapons technology. This was a boon for Israel’s still-undeclared trove of nuclear missiles and warheads and helped ensure that Israel would remain the only nuclear power in the Middle East. Israel’s acquisition of nuclear weapons, seen in the light of the PROMIS scandal and the Pollard spy affair, shows that it was largely accomplished through trickery, deception and espionage rather than Israeli technical or scientific prowess.

This same year, 1985, is also when the CIA finally caught up with their Israeli equivalent and created its own back door into PROMIS, which it sold mostly to allied intelligence services in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere. It wasn’t nearly as successful as Maxwell, who sold an estimated $500 million in bugged PROMIS programs for Israel. The CIA, on the other hand, only sold around $90 million.

Former Gov. Jeb Bush has spent much of the year raising money for his Super PAC, called Right to Rise, without disclosing his donors.

He doesn’t have to — Bush’s Super PAC and traditional PAC are on a semi-annual reporting timeline, meaning they have until mid-July to file public campaign finance reports. Clues from a variety of sources, however, provide a preview of his donors, who include major leaders in technology, business and lobbying.

Agents for foreign governments fall under special transparency rules, meaning several have already had to disclose their donations in filings with the Justice Department. Ignacio Sanchez, a former trade official for President George W. Bush, is a lobbyist for Saudi Arabia. Sanchez gave $5,000 to Right to Rise on February 17, the same day that George Salem, another lobbyist retained by the Saudi government to influence American policy, gave the group $10,000. A day later, former Sen. Don Nickles, R-Ok., now a lobbyist for Wal-Mart, ExxonMobil, Taiwan and the Republic of Korea, among other clients, gave $5,000 to Right to Rise.

Glenn Youngkin, managing director of the Carlyle Group, the investment firm that owns Booz Allen Hamilton, gave $10,000, according to a disclosure statement posted on the company’s website. Because Carlyle manages pension fund money, the company faces special campaign finance requirements.

Although Bush has not named the donors giving to his PACs, certain donors, including state-level PACs, are obligated to disclose on a different schedule. These disclosures show that Florida politicians have dipped into their own campaign funds to support Right to Rise. The Florida Conservative Leadership Fund, associated with state Rep. Dana Young, R-Tampa, gave $5,000 to Bush’s Super PAC in February. Among other Florida PACs, Growing Florida’s Future chipped in $25,000, Liberty Florida gave $5,000, and the Treasure Coast PAC gave $1,000.

By highlighting three of the most dominant themes in Bell’s CRT—materialism, realism, and anticolonialism—it becomes possible to understand the aspects of Bell’s philosophy that make it far more radical than the watered-down liberal ideology being trafficked as CRT today.

Bell was born in 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and in 1957, he completed a law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Bell was highly active in civil rights litigation during the 1950s and 60s. After a brief appointment in the civil rights division of the U.S. Justice Department, Bell resigned to work full time for the NAACP’s Legal Defense and Educational Fund. During this time, Bell worked on dozens of desegregation cases, giving him firsthand experience where ligation and activism overlap.

In 1967, Bell left the NAACP to take up academic work, first at the University of Southern California and later at Harvard Law School. At Harvard, Bell developed a critique of the civil rights movement’s litigation strategies, and this critique provided Bell with the foundational principles of CRT. In 1973, Bell published his groundbreaking textbook Race, Racism, and American Law, the first law textbook to examine the racial implications of U.S. legal structures. During the 1980s, Bell would move from university to university, often leaving to protest the refusal of schools to hire more faculty of color. In 1991, he began teaching at New York University, where he would remain active until his death in October 2011.

    https://libya360.wordpress.com/2021/07/17/gaza-a-vision-of-what-capital-empire-intend-for-the-rest-of-the-globe/

In this era of decline for U.S. imperialist hegemony and contraction in capital, colonialism increasingly asserts itself through crude and haphazard exercises in profit-driven brutality. Like how the Roman empire during its era of decay turned to barbarian armies of an often renegade nature, Washington is more and more resorting to the tactics of extravagantly paying private mercenary contractors for its global terrorism operations, and of sadistically torturing colonialism’s victims for the profits of U.S. imperialism’s internal prison-industrial complex.

In this landscape where the reactionaries are simultaneously lashing out with ever more ferocity, and experiencing a weakening of their system, those who seek national and class liberation are presented with opportunities for exploiting these weaknesses. But to succeed, we must recognize the ways that the reactionaries are still capable of harming us. Gaza shows the full extent of how the revolutionary forces can be made isolated, besieged, and subject to the instruments of privatized terror which imperialism is proliferating.

Israel, like Latin America’s U.S. neo-colonies, has always been used as a laboratory in necro-politics. Washington takes the advancements in surveillance, repressive techniques, censorship, para-state violence, and propaganda that the Zionist state creates to sustain its colonial war, and applies them to the other places where the empire is fighting off resistance. Israel has sold the technologies it uses to intensively monitor the occupied Palestinian population to Colombia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, South Sudan, the UAE, Uzbekistan, and many other governments. Israel has been exporting its Hasbara propaganda model to the Gulf monarchies, in addition to the special relationship that it’s solidified with the U.S. media. Israel has shipped weapons to Ukraine’s genocidal U.S.-installed regime, sold military technologies to right-wing Latin American governments like the ones in Colombia and Brazil, and provided training to U.S. police forces — to the consequence that law enforcement violence against nonwhites within the U.S. has been noticeably rising over the last decade.

It’s unsurprising that the U.S. has been perhaps the largest importer of Israel’s tools, incorporating Israeli social control mechanisms which range everywhere from policing to spying to propaganda to missile defense in the form of a Raytheon-developed U.S. Iron Dome system. The U.S. is the settler state where colonialism’s contradictions are pronounced in a similar level of intensity to how they are in Israel; it’s trying to maintain its global military primacy amidst an emerging multi-polar world order, at the same time that it’s trying to prevent a rebellion from its internal colonized peoples and struggling to respond to a record influx of indigenous southern refugees.

  • Why have the police become one of the most common perpetrators of violence in today’s America, rather than a measure of safety? It has been made clear, over and over again, that the killing of George Floyd is far from one cop being “a bad apple.” We have seen police violence escalate, tear gas and rubber bullets used on peaceful protestors. We have seen that the U.S. policing system is deeply rooted in anti-Black, racist structures of power that uphold white supremacy. The past week’s events have shown us, once again, that our national crisis is beyond a matter of police reform; it is long past time that we hold the police accountable for their brutal actions, and start thinking of more viable options for our future.

To quote Alex S. Vitale, author of The End of Policing: “It’s time for everyone to quit thinking that jailing one more killer cop will do anything to change the nature of American policing. We must move, instead, to significantly defund the police and redirect resources into community-based initiatives that can produce real safety and security without the violence and racism inherent in the criminal justice system.”

Just because black people have a higher crime rate than white people does not make the police racist or America a white supremacist country. Asians have a lower crime rate than white people but white people are smart enough to not go around claiming that cops are racist or that America is as Asian supremacist country.

Every year in America black men rape over 35,000 white women. Every year in America white men rape under 10 black women. These statistics tell us all we need to know about how to fix crime, it's called personal responsiblity, stop being a criminal and the police will leave you alone. What do you think would happen to those black and white rapists if there were no cops and no prison? They would be killed that's what, and rightfully so. Having cops and prison allows us to not kill rapists, allowing the rapist to live and to learn to see the error of what they did.

The overwhelming vast majority of people calling the cops on black people are other black people, yet you want to use the "black race" as if it's some monolith that collectively wants to defind or abolish the police, or somehow you're their representative! You're a joke, a stupid racist, even the majority of blacks don't want to defund the police, yet you pretend to speak for all black people, do you even realize how racist that is? • This is a joke, right? Whew, you white dudes are some funny DNA mutated souls. Please, move to “Israel,” and give your lands back to Native Americans, African Americans and Palestinians. Please, move.

There is a reason that most countries polled in December 2013 by Gallup called the United States the greatest threat to peace in the world, and why Pew found that viewpoint increased in 2017.

But it is a reason that eludes that strain of U.S. academia that first defines war as something that nations and groups other than the United States do, and then concludes that war has nearly vanished from the earth.

Since World War II, during a supposed golden age of peace, the United States military has killed or helped kill some 20 million people, overthrown at least 36 governments, interfered in at least 85 foreign elections, attempted to assassinate over 50 foreign leaders, and dropped bombs on people in over 30 countries. The United States is responsible for the deaths of 5 million people in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, and over 1 million just since 2003 in Iraq.

Since 2001, the United States has been systematically destroying a region of the globe, bombing Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, and Syria, not to mention the Philippines. The United States has “special forces” operating in two-thirds of the world’s countries and non-special forces in three-quarters of them.

The U.S. government provides weapons, military training, and/or military funding to almost every dictatorship and oppressive government on earth. See my 2020 book 20 Dictators Currently Supported by the U.S.

U.S. weapons are used on both sides of many wars.

In an attempt to quantify U.S. warmaking, I’ve copied below lists from these sources:
David Vine: The United States of War
William Blum: America’s Deadliest Export: Democracy
Dr. Zoltan Grossman: A Century of U.S. Military Interventions
James Lucas: U.S. Has Killed More Than 20 Million People

The supreme international crime according to 2017 U.S. media reporting is interferring nonviolently in a democratic election — at least if Russia does it. William Blum, in his book Rogue State, lists over 30 times that the United States has done that. Another study, however, says 81 elections in 47 countries. France 2017 makes that total at least 82. Honduras 2017 makes it 83. Russia 2018 makes it 84. The 2020-revealed 1964 coup in British Guiana makes it 85.

  • Methinks the US may very well be heading toward a social explosion. The phrase “race war “is overwrought if it implies organized units and chains of command. However, in a country awash in firearms, a bloody, disorganized, continent-wide eruption is possible. To think “it can’t happen here” is complacently inattentive. We have already seen it...

  • What dead from the groin up white trash this is, with a whole lot of dumb and dumber commenters flagging with their weenie supremacist bunk; but this little sh-hole moment I’ve wasted “reading” this David Duke boy Fred’s drivel, and then his boy fan base, is again , fodder for communists like me to talk more about the insignificance of the dead mind of those illegal aliens from England, from France, from the other white ragged places of disease. This white race United Snakes of America style is becoming more and more, well, you know, each generation, the DNA is more mutated, watered down, just bleached out whitey on the moon:

    https://davidswanson.org/warlist/#:~:text=Here%20is%20Blum%E2%80%99s%20list%20of%20nations%20bombed%20by,Salvador%201980s%3B%20Nicaragua%201980s%3B%20Iran%201987%3B%20Panama%201989

  • Oh, man, first time I read this Bozo, and, well, Unz Review is truly putridity, for the most part (not all things on here are that, but those things, articles, are cross-posted). This guy, again, another white boy, on his keyboard, would last 5 minutes in a real public arena discussing his white exceptionalism-racism. I am talking about a real dialogue with a bevy of folk. He’s last 10 minutes in my debate classes I taught in community colleges, and in the US military and in two prisons.

But again, big bad racists love these forums, no? And, has he been in K12, like I have, as a teacher (I am a college teacher, but did subbing in four districts)? Is this guy even aware of how messed up the white kids are, those HFCS kids, like the BIPOC, who are fulling of ticks, chronic illnesses, no attention spans, etc.?

Then, looking at the white race in USA, running the country, yep, smarter than a serial murderer, for sure.

Comical and pathetic, Reed thou art. Embrace your countrymen and countrywomen, Fred Flintstone:

    Read your white brother,

For over 65 years, the United States war machine has been on auto pilot. Since World War II, the world has believed that US foreign policy means well, and that America’s motives in spreading democracy are honorable, even noble. In this startling and provocative book from William Blum, one of the United States’ leading non-mainstream chroniclers of American foreign policy and author of the popular online newsletter, The Anti-Empire Report, demonstrates that nothing could be further from the truth. Moreover, unless this fallacy is unlearned, and until people understand fully the worldwide suffering American policy has caused, we will never be able to stop the monster.

“A fireball of terse information—one of our best muckrakers.” – Oliver Stone

“America’s Deadliest Export is a brilliant expose of critically important information about the role of the U.S. in the world – yet that is arguably the least of its virtues. Blum’s book is also passionate when it ought to be passionate, and sober when it ought to be sober. It takes the raw data of international relations and presents it so movingly, so compellingly, and so insightfully, that when it reaches out for us to act – it has put us very much in the mood to do so. Succinct and comprehensive, reasoned and also impassioned, this is a book all should read.” – Michael Albert, co-founder of Znet

“As in the past, in this remarkable collection Bill Blum concentrates on matters of great current significance, and does not pull his punches. They land, backed with evidence and acute analysis. It is a perspective on the world that Westerners should ponder, and take as a guideline for action.” – Noam Chomsky

“Coruscating, eye-opening and essential. This is a must-read for anyone rightfully concerned at the destructive influence of the world’s only superpower.” – Cynthia McKinney, Presidential Candidate for the Green Party of the United States

“William Blum’s America’s Deadliest Export is another in his blockbuster series that has applied the reality and morality principles to work on U.S. foreign policy. This book has vignettes and longish essays on matters running from Conspiracies, Ideology and the Media to Cuba, Iran and Wikileaks. It is brimming with wit and with both laughable and frightening quotations. It is admittedly written for ‘the choir,’ but even the choir needs encouragement as well as facts and analyses that will keep its members from succumbing to a potent propaganda system. And we may hope that choir will grow with books like this that both amuse and enlighten.” – Edward S. Herman, co-author of The Politics of Genocide

“This book deals with unpleasant subjects yet it is a pleasure to read. Blum continues to provide us with convincing critiques of U.S. global policy in a freshly informed and engaging way.” – Michael Parenti, author of The Face of Imperialism

“With good cheer and humor Blum guides us toward understanding that our government does not mean well. Once we’ve grasped that, we’re far more capable of effectively doing good ourselves.” – David Swanson, author of War is a Lie

But if solution is possible, it will require punctilious, highly intelligent, rational thought and brilliant intellectual work. “Ordinary people’s” efforts will not begin to suffice.

what is your definition of super brilliant intellectual work...and on time? what is on time...punctilious!
    Interesting!?

when the working class took over on previous occasions and created, their brilliance was spontaniety...in response to urgent and immediate needs of the people: they figured out and implemented ways that worked effectively, efficiently that met the popular needs they were created to to facilitate.

the reality is not complex at all, to the point of excruciating intricacy and mystery emanating out of such complexity. humans have a whole lot of basic things to do basic to human survival, in direct, precise and specific ways we must attend to, or our existence is compromised to death extinction. that is out current state made so by systematic exploitation. as such we all know or have full ideas of what's wrong and how it is to be corrected

but basic or not... due to social class relations based on the dominance of minority by the numbers elites, what is simple and basic to be done to meet general human need, cannot be done. it may be attempted on the pain of extreme penalty including death, social upheaval, war and destruction.

we have conditions of existence that we must respond to, that determines our thoughts, arbitrates everything including our skills and ideas. our understanding of those conditions and the challenges they face us with is crucial. our understanding determines our response.

and our response is all...and the way we respond, the critical approach which must be open ended for we know we are never going to learn and understand it all at once, due to the dialectical nature of existence. it is always a process of create, do learn and repeat, a process in which truth, the facts are crucial...not lies, obfuscation propaganda etc.

what removes the lies propaganda is the revolution that eliminates the minority elite class control by the working classes, by the revolution of ALL the ordinary people that makes truth as the operating principle of society real, the way society operates, must operate or we do as we do now...live dangerously risking our existence in in nature by living by lies in all we do with the most vast and extreme of consequences when the mistakes are inevitably made

I don't see where you get the seemingly extreme need for god-like smarts to move forward from capitalism to popular social organization in the interest of the majority. as I have tried to prove by the Hungarian example, for at least 75 years ordinary people have known what to do, and actually did it. and every time they have been beaten back, beaten down and turned around by elite society. this time we must not let that happen. next time he people must make sure to go all the way.

  • You grew up in El Cerrito, just north of Berkeley, then attended Reed College in Portland. Reed was like a madhouse in the 60's. Then you went to Berkeley, before heading to Vietnam for four years, during the height of the war. Did you transform from a hippie to a gung-ho grunt? I was too...
  • Oh, that white guy, those white guys, those colonists, those Empire guys, those illegal Puritan aliens, those inbred guys, those elitists, those eugenicists, those guys, that’s right, this guy, so unusual. Those dudes and their Canadian and USA reservations and Indian schools. Those guys. Those Grahams, a dime a dozen.

Yeah, cancel culture sucks, and I have been cancelled since age 13, overseas as a military brat not buying that mercenary stuff. Hard socialist and kid not standing up to the absurd pledge or national anthem. Cancel culture, for sure, too, on the dirty Republican side of the two pile political manure heap.

I have met Grahams in Central America, in South America, in Mexico, in Canada, in Vietnam, in Europe, all over the States. A dime a dozen elitist. Like I said, as a fiction writer, he’s a great minor character, a fornicator, some dude who is, well, not giving anything to humanity but his flaccid wisdom.

Oh, man, Whitey on the Moon — listen, it’s Gil Scott Heron. Oh, Graham, he’d have nothing much to say except, “Anglo Saxon-Caucasians, Smart, the Swarthy Ones, not-so-smart. A dime a dozen racists who I fear would not be able to discuss much in a real forum. I am not talking cancel culture kids in college. In a real debate arena.

Here you go, the real cultures, in Turtle Island:

Doug George-Kanentiio is my guest for the full hour. A few weeks ago, the remains of 215 children were found at the Kamloops Indian School in British Columbia, Canada and as of today there were more than 500 more children graves found in four more residential schools in Canada. There were more than 100 Residential schools that operated in Canada up until 1996. The Kamloops Indian Residential school was one of the largest in Canada and operated from the late 19th century to the late 1970s.The school was opened and run by the Catholic Church until the federal government took it over in the late 1960s.Indigenous children, some as young as 3 years old, we were forcibly taken from their families and put into residential schools in Canada. Same as what happened in Native boarding schools in the United States, their hair was cut off, they were forbidden to speak their Indigenous languages, and to see their families — some didn’t return home for many years or not at all. And in the United States, there are/were 357 Boarding Schools, in 30 States and run 12 Religious Denominations in cooperation with the US government and there are 64 boarding schools remain open today.

Countless children suffered terrible indignities, mistreatment, and horrors, including beatings, rape and other forms of sexual violence, disease, and even death. Residential school experiences continue to affect many survivors today. Our guest Doug George Kanentiio was one of those students. Doug attended the Mohawk Institute in Branford, Ontario, and wrote about it in a recent column, “Our Mohawk Councils Failed to Protect the Residential School Children,” published by indianz.com on June 14.

Doug George-Kanentiio was born and raised at the Mohawk Territory of Akwesasne. He attended school on and near the reservation before enrolling at Syracuse University and then the Antioch School of Law. Doug was a co-founder of the Native American Journalists Association before serving the Mohawk Nation as editor of the journals Akwesasne Notes and Indian Time.

I’m a journalist, educator, fiction writer, social worker, and dead meat in this AmeriKKKa. Two languages, world traveling, poor as dirt, unemployable, real education, and three degrees (more).

Graham is a great skeleton for one of my short stories. He’s a dime a dozen. And, 78, man, just like those other whites — mid seventies and up: W. Bush, Trump, Biden, Sanders, Bloomberg, Carter, well, you get the ticket.

    Principles of Unity

The editorial staff of Hood Communist unite around the following principles of unity for all writing published on this site.

What we believe and how we unite.

    African Unity
Hood Communist identifies the poor Black/African working class as the main social force of African Liberation. As internationalists, we understand the role capitalism, as a competitive socioeconomic system based on the private ownership of the means of production (i.e. machines, tools, factories, etc.), distribution (trucks, trains, planes, stores, etc.), and exchange (banks, stocks, etc.) by capitalists who exploit workers, has had and it’s specific effect on African people worldwide.

With the understanding that imperialism is the highest form of capitalism and neo-colonialism is imperialism in its final stage, we stand united with the African people of the world.

    Anti-Imperialism
Hood Communist understands that imperialism is the highest stage in the development of capitalism where a nation (or conglomerate of nations like the European Union and NATO) dominates other nations either by territorial acquisition (colonies) or the establishment of economic and political hegemony over them. It is a policy of extending a country’s power and influence through diplomacy or military force for profit in order to ensure a continual flow of raw materials, essential resources and cheap exports.

    Decolonization
Hood Communist stands against colonialism, an institution that requires violence or the threat of violence to attain its goals. The process of settler-colonialism is inherently genocidal because the colonial power attempts to replace the indigenous peoples of a land with individuals from the colonial mother country. Decolonization is the revolutionary process of overthrowing colonial rule and returning an exploited people to their rightful place in history. We uphold the right of all oppressed and colonized peoples to struggle for decolonization and national liberation by any means necessary.

    Self-Determination and Right to Self-Defense
Hood Communist supports African people’s struggles for national liberation and self-determination. While committed to peace, we are not pacifists. To paraphrase revolutionary ancestor Fred Hampton, we believe in peace and we are willing to fight for it. We understand there can be no peace without justice and we stand in solidarity with all peoples and nations who strive to liberate themselves from oppressive systems by any means necessary.

    Anti-Patriarchy
Hood Communist stands against patriarchal power as a form of top-down, leader-centered, undemocratic, and dominating power. Patriarchy is a system of male, heterosexual domination often characterized by violence. Patriarchy requires male dominance and hetero-sexism as a norm, which produces systems of oppression against those with different genders and sexual orientations (as well as social prejudices against people with disabilities).

    Abolition
Hood Communist stands against all forms of repression and exploitation including the existence of jails with the understanding that the Prison Industrial Complex is innately racist and targets the poor African working class, specifically and colonized and poor peoples generally.

    No ‘Dear White People’ Articles
The editoral staff of Hood Communist challenges all writers and organizers to center African people, the African diaspora, and the African continent in your analysis in all of your submissions to our blog.

We will no longer be publishing articles we like to call “Dear White People” posts. If the focus of your analysis is breaking down the chicanery and fuckshit of Europeans to Europeans, we encourage you to journal about that instead or alternatively join a political organization led by African and colonized people that is not dominated by crackers.

We once again want to reiterate that the Hood Communist blog is a revolutionary African nationalist political organ created with the express intent of advancing the struggle for African liberation by providing independent anti-colonial and anti-capitalist revolutionary political analysis by and for African people. “Dear White People” articles are incompatible with that object – as they center Europeans and European fuckshit – and as such are not a good fit for this blog.

I'm no great fan of IBM. They sold us white guys down the river in the very first years of the diversity movement. But the Holocaust charge is a canard.

The link you provide obviously draws on Edwin Black's "IBM and the Holocaust." The claims he makes are simply impossible. The computing machines in question could not have done the things he claims. See my Amazon review.
    https://www.amazon.com/review/R3JIYDH7JYW0VC/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=0914153277

More than that, in the 1930s the US was equally worried about the Soviet Union and Germany. There was no prohibition on doing business with them. The timeframe under discussion is several years before the Endschluss, or final solution.

Black's book is a product of the Holocaust industry, a mostly unwarranted attack on an obviously gentile company.
