Seems that I’m the outsider who has to show up every once in a while to set you folks straight on some basics.
Last week it was the fantasy harbored by many here that the relatively tiny population of “Rural Whites” caused Trump to win the election.
This week it’s Mr. Fisk’s ignorance of where the Pentagon is located. Sir, the Pentagon is in VIRGINIA, Northern Virginia to be more precise. When I was in grade school, five hundred years ago, we were taught these things. Even you can learn it, if you try.

Folks, can we put aside once and for all the notion of a huge number of “rural whites” living in the US in 2016. Agriculture is VERY highly mechanized these days, and has been for half a century or more. Some of you write on this subject as though it were still 1905. The rural part of our population is estimated at about 3 % these days, ie., about 10-11 million people. This figure includes children and the elderly. Also, it may surprise some of you to learn that a sizeable minority of the 11 million rural residents are non-white (mainly black or Mexican), so we are talking maybe 7 to 8 million adult rural whites, a figure which includes females.

They are good people, for the most part, but they did NOT elect Donald Trump, and they aren’t going to take over ANYTHING. Trump was elected by Midwestern working class folks and suburbanites.

Most likely these people have been bought off with MONEY!!! Not members of the Bush family, who don’t need it and are just plain nuts, but most of the others. Simplest explanation is usually best.

As I said Friday, he’s always been a very good business man in the Hebrew style.

There is not, and never has been, any one organization identifiable as THE Ku Klux Klan; there have been and continue to be, various similar but distinct organizations existing concurrently; at present it’s doubtful that the combined membership of all these groups exceeds 1000.

My former brother-in-law (now deceased) was a prototypical “business and finance are all I care about” cuckservative; he met and was acquainted with Gingrich at one point in his life. His opinion was that Newt was TOTALLY untrustworthy–“wouldn’t vote for that man to be dogcatcher.”
