These are not “Mass Shootings”. These are gang crimes. A “Mass Shooting” in the current definition is one where a deranged and/or politically motivated person tries to kill as many as possible with no concern for who they are personally, with the possible exception of party, race, or religion. In short, crime is crime but a “Mass Shooting” is a category of sickness above and beyond.

Yeah, I know what the FBI definition is…4 or more victims in a single location not counting the shooter – but that is ridiculous and rarely used unless you’re trying to inflate the statistics.
