Well lets follow the logic here. Modern wars require heavy equipment which require industrial capacity whether internal or external.

Destroy that capacity and the opponent so affected is the loser. Russia did not have the ability to do this to Germany because they did not have the bombers to obliterate Germany and the ones they did have lacked the range, the technical capability or the crew either in numbers or ability.

Well, yet another article on the Russia/ Ukraine “crisis”. Putin has NATO on its toes with Ukraine, a country of no significance to western interests and not even a member of Nato.

Recently there was a whole lot of hulla bulla doo doo about Canada and the UK sending troops to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression. Of course this turned out to be a few “special forces” trainers although who knows training what and then the story turned to them planning the exit of westeners in case of a Russian invasion. Why the press hypes up such shite is a mystery.

Added to all the gobbledeegook is this and that expert weighing in on what Russia will do or not do.

My opinion:
1. Most of the Ukranian Army is in the east. A pincer movement will zero these out. That is the end of the “war” right there
2. Kiev could be eliminated by another pincer movement from the far southwest of Russia.
3. The logistics for a NATO counterstroke would be impossible. Russian forces would engulf the Ukrainian Army and capital in days.
4. Even of this were possible NATO has no experience (or the stomach) fighting a conventional war in Russia never mind in the middle of winter or one of their blazing summers.
5. I imagine most Ukrainians would welcome the Russians per say. The few I know tell me their relatives in Ukraine are pretty fed up with the Government there.

Do we need to point out that the Kursk/ Belgorod area where the Soviets demolished Adolph;s operation Citadelle lies directly east of Kiev and right on the border with Kharkov, another vulnerable city in Ukraine. Pinching off Kharkov would send the powers that be in Kiev into a panic.

I would bet money the Russians have dragged out all their studies of campaigns against the Wehrmacht in all those areas.

There will be no war in Ukraine. If there is Putin will pinch off and finish off the opposition in the East and that will be that in a matter of days. I am shocked ! I have not been to my Doctor in years. The crowning moment was a visit for a workplace checkup. I had dropped my car off at the mechanic and decided to walk to my Physician. It was summer and about 86 farenheit.

I was told that I had high blood pressure (a stroke was imminent) and subject to panic attacks. (because I was sweating) My medical expert barely registered the fact that I had walked 1/2 hour at a pace in the summer heat. Solution to these “terminal” conditions ? Drugs ! The good Doctor knew exactly what was wrong with me and just what was needed in under 5 minutes. Then, he had to rush to his other patient waiting in another room.

That’s what a man of common sense can expect from a highly trained Doctor. Of course I refused and got “THE LOOK”.

Back home once my exertions had died down I took three measurements on my heart monitor and the rate was that of a teenager.

Visiting the Doctor, while we are at it, is like taking the 2022 Rolls Royce to the mechanic for an oil change.. You go in for an oil change but after a few minutes the weak person is convinced his car is a piece of shit requiring thousands of dollars to fix thousands of non existent problems.

I found out many years ago that pharmaceutical companies, medical researchers and the vast majority of doctors are not interested in the health of people. They have a vested interest in sickness persisting. I was married to a successful lady GP for 18 years and my son is a doctor. I am familiar with their way of thinking.

The reality is that we are each, together with our parents/guardians, responsible to a large degree for our own health. Many afflictions that some people are born with are a consequence of an unfortunate choice of partner by their parents – inbreeding perhaps.

People who follow the advice of obese, unhealthy-looking, doctors are fools. I can think of no other way of describing them. You don’t ask someone who is a bad driver to daily take your kid to school. Why should health be treated differently from everything else?

If you find a healthy-looking, slim, doctor in his 60’s, you should stay with him. That is if such people actually do exist. 🙂

Yes it is an INDIVIDUAL thing. However, for every man like your Daddy or Victor Hugo, there are 100,000 who are not so fortunate to live to a ripe old age. Carlo Gambino used to drink 11 cups of coffee a day and died at the age of 74. Ernest Hemmingway was a heavy drinker and smoker of Cuban cigars and died at age 61.
