RSSIt’s fair to say that the President sincerely wants to stop illegal immigration.
Most of us who are appalled at Trump’s failure would probably agree that, insofar as the man has any fixed ideas, he sincerely believes illegal immigration is bad, because it’s illegal. But he’s not a big-picture man. He’s obsessed over symbolic details. We have his own clear statement that he wants more legal immigration than ever before.
He just doesn’t get it that mass migration of low-IQ Aztecs, Somalis, etc. is the gathering disaster, not whether the formal boxes are being checked. The population that built and maintained this country is being sold down the river, in favor of lawnmower jockeys who will work cheap and vote Democratic till the next big comet strike.
Whether through ignorance or design, Trump is serving the narrative that Americans (especially white people) aren’t good enough for America and need to be replaced.
I made money in the stock market today. Feels good! Oh, and the president signed the death warrant for my country, but you can’t have everything.
What a deal. Trump and the GOP cucktocracy give the immigration fifth columnists virtually everything they want and more. In exchange “we” get an emergency declaration that will be hung up in the courts for months or years while the invasion continues in high gear. Trump plans to say, in effect, “Gosh, I tried, really I did. Now, to all 100 million new Americans, ¡Buenos días!”
The first time I heard a classical album on CD, it was a revelation. I had a scratchy old vinyl LP of Wagner's Ring Cycle suites - I got it new, but after a few years, it was pretty well worn. Then a roomate of mine in college had a CD player and played a CD of the same piece. It was like hearing it for the first time - hearing something altogether different. The soft parts weren't marred by hissing and popping; the loud parts were pure and undistorted. I then set about getting all the same recordings I had on vinyl on CD. It was a noticeable improvement.Replies: @Trevor H., @Loss-of-Confidence Survivor, @Jim Christian
Right, vinyl wasn’t ideal for classical music because hiss and frying egg noises were noticeable in the quietest portions. Vinyl was fine for electric guitar music.
I then set about getting all the same recordings I had on vinyl on CD. It was a noticeable improvement.
Congratulations on your discernment. It gives me a slight hope for the human race that at least one other person hasn’t willingly fallen victim to the Big Con that black discs are superior to silver discs.
Listeners who are mesmerized by LPs deserve credit for one thing, though: at least they still care about sound quality, or at least profess to, whereas for the earbud generation good music reproduction is irrelevant. But for what they consider music, sound fidelity is irrelevant.
Rather than find a solution for the several thousand potential migrants currently at the border, let’s start by answering the bigger, harder question — what about the 42 million who would like to come?
The solution for the migrants currently at the border is the answer to the bigger, “harder” (if you’re a proglodyte or cuckservative) question. Turn the migrant invaders back or jail them if they make it past the border. The 42 million will get the message.
Why should we be talking about what is the maximum population the world can support? It’s like asking what is the maximum you can lose at the casino before you have to declare bankruptcy, or how much pain you can stand before passing out.
We should ask what is the optimum population. Hint: It isn’t the maximum.
I used to think I was pretty articulate, always ready with the cutting retort. But there are limits. I have no words for Rashaad Thomas’s self-centeredness, abysmal ignorance, and lack of compassion for poor miners whose lungs were as black as their faces after a day in the pit.
Wait, maybe I’m getting my second wind.
