Yes, I’ve noticed that today’s Woke white allies include the same “faces” who would once have been medical missionaries, Blue Stockings, Emerson and Thoreau, Charles Eliot, Woodrow Wilson, my own ancestors, etc. This makes it harder to find comfort in the past.

I used to notice in print ads (2000s) that, when an ad contained members of each of the “three races” (for example, three kids drinking Kool-Aid), the black kid would be a boy, and the East Asian kid would be a girl. Black : male :: Asian : female. The white kid could be either a boy or a girl. That makes obvious intuitive sense (’nuff said).

The three-race schema didn’t have a place for South Asians or Hispanics. Has advertising changed since then?

Is this balanced by the rise of the Hispanic jockey?

Election fraud in Philly, Detroit, Atlanta, and probably Las Vegas and elsewhere is the big story.

Some of the voices who have been holding back are starting to talk about it. I mean, people are switching from talking about the Biden presidency as a thing that actually exists, back to the question of who will win the election.

OK, but dammit we haven’t actually lost yet.
• Sidney Powell seems very optimistic about the Dominion voting systems angle in their lawsuits. They have Dominion whistleblowers. (These are in addition to the known whistleblowers working with the Great Lakes Justice Center).
• Georgia is doing a hand recount/canvass. The Dominion steal ought to be revealed that way.
• The PA appellate court plus Alito have established that PA judges/election officials did not have the authority to contravene the PA legislature. So PA may be off the table (or, re-vote). Bryan Cutler of PA House is not playing nicey like some state Repubs elsewhere.

Urban election workers in Detroit, Philly, and Atlanta are stealing the state vote and laughing in our faces. “We’re getting payback and you can’t do nothing about it.”

I can just see BIPOC students taking amphetamines to stay up for days and ace their final exams. Reminds me of a “Family Ties” episode from 1983. This approach did not work well for Alex. He crashes and ends up sleeping through his scholarship exam.
