RSSI stopped reading after this paragraph:
“The reality is that China not only boasts a drastically higher standard of living for the average person but also offers much more freedom than the United States. (It is arguably impossible to have prosperity without freedom, hence the fact that the decline in the American quality of life can so easily be linked to restrictions put on personal freedom.)”
Evidently the author never heard of:
1. Forced abortions under the One Child policy.
2. The “Social credit” system; bad credit means you can’t travel, get a job or have a bank account.
3. Tiananmen Square. There is arguably less freedom now than at that time.
4. China actually welded people into their apartment buildings during the plandemic.
5. China put into operation the first “15 minute cities” to control movement of people.
Oh, yes; China offers much more freedom than the United States. My eyes just rolled so far back into my head I can see my own brain.
And that discounts the fact all of the “advancements” in China are restricted to the cities. The countryside (where foreigners are not allowed to travel) is still so poor they make feudal European peasants look middle-class by comparison.
This is a clownish article.
