RSSGolf clap for Michael Hudson.
“it’s the United States that is the determining active force.”
Reasonable people can differ on the question, Israel – henchman or mastermind? But inductive logic leads us ineluctably to Hudson’s answer. Israel is a pissant middle-income country ruled by kleptocrats skimming US military aid. It’s a one-nuke laydown with no strategic depth and an army of sissy cowards trained only to blind teenage girls from the safety of elevated sniper’s nests.
Israelis’ one unique advantage is, there’s nothing they won’t do. No crime, no atrocity is too sick for them. They’re animals, they have no decency. Pedophile child trafficking for VIP blackmail? No prob! Lethal sabotage attacks on the US cilivian population? Aye aye! Systematic bribery of US officials for abuse of function? Jawohl! Israel’s primary export is CIA cutouts.
Think it through. When you watch Jaws, are you scared of the remora?
“its concern rests above all with protecting its cash cow of Saudi Arabia.”
A 2nd-echelon CIA puke at the Farm (the real farm, where Snowden crawled the SCI, not Camp Swampy) told this commenter along with an assembled group what scares CIA most: revolution in Saudi Arabia. This was not some throwaway scuttlebutt to impress a noob, this was dissemination of the line to the outer party.
Now, Israeli national ideology rests on contempt for outgroups and ingroup cohesion through duplicitous exploitation of those outgroups. Israeli Jews crow to each other about their ability to push American subhumans around. That makes them nice repulsive scapegoats for the US command structure, that is, CIA. What’s happening now is CIA’s concerted campaign to blame invariant CIA policy on Zionist Jews. CIA is working diligently toward the following outcome: sadistic, noisy purge and vilification of some obnoxious cartoon Jews that leaves the CIA regime intact.
Hudson’s metier is economics, so he stresses the economic determinants here. But the focus on oil is incomplete. This regime requires petrodollars with reserve status, true. But this regime also requires illegal arms and drug trafficking and massive diversion of state resources to fund crime. The one critical life-giving resource of this regime is not oil. It’s impunity.
