RSSThe Choice has to be stark so that no one will be able to claim they were unaware.
Jesus IS the Christ. He is Savior and King. This message will, as is usual, be ignored, dismissed or derided by the majority reading or hearing it. But as time passes the blatant evil will be thrown in the face of each and every one of us and we will find we must make a choice. Many are called, few are chosen because few choose to be chosen – they just know better.
You, sir, are a liar and a fool.
I don’t think this was LARPing. I think this was sane, traditional Americans faced with two choices: submit or fight and they chose to take a few really rather tentative steps to fight. If this had been leftists DC would be in flames right this minute.
Now comes the propaganda explosion of condemnation by both open leftists and their “conservative” allies. DC is going to look like the Green Zone in Baghdad as the government takes all necessary steps to protect the “peoples’ representatives” from the people. I expect arrests, prosecutions and jail time for many. But I also expect resistance against attempts to go after some of these people. We may see efforts at arrests met by men with rifles. We may even see municipalities and even states giving sanctuary to some of these. Who knows? At this point just about any scenario is possible.
It is obvious that the U.S. as we have known it is over.
All I know is that it was fun to watch him play baseball. Pretty fair announcer too.
John Saxon starred in a film called “War Hunt” back in 1962 along with Robert Redford and Tom Skerrit. It was Sidney Pollack’s debut according to IMBD. Saxon played a psycho soldier in Korea who would slip into enemy lines alone and kill for the pleasure of it. This was the first time I can recall seeing him and he was quite scary. He was one of those guys who was everywhere on TV and in B movies and looked to me like he was working a lot which is not the case with most actors. I know I am getting old because all the old, familiar faces are leaving.
Regis Philbin is in the category of Art Linkletter and Arthur Godfrey. Well known in their time and well liked for being calm and mannerly on screen with a small dash of humor and never tooting their own horn or hogging the scene. Not many of these around today (Alex Trebek comes to mind along with Pat Sajak)
Girls and negroes (in every combination of these imaginable) save the galaxy making use of one lucky coincidence after another. And the storm troopers’ armor can’t deflect arrows let alone energy bolts. Rey buries the light sabres at the end and, hopefully, buries this franchise once and for all (fat chance).
I live in Arizona. Talked to a local ER doc and, in the course of the conversation, asked about what kind of admissions he sees most often from the local Indian reservations. He said they see a lot of injuries made by hatchets.
I am surprised that Early Wynn isn’t mentioned. I remember watching him on TV as a kid and the announcers never failed to mention that he was well known for throwing chin music – especially if the batter followed a guy who managed to get a hit off Wynn.
It must not be forgotten that Hillary! is a complete and utter incompetent in virtually everything she does. Her list of screw ups and bungled operations is far too long to list here and most of us are familiar with at least some of them. In terms of politics the one right thing she ever did was marry BJ and doggedly stick to him despite her continual humiliation over his serial sexual encounters with women other than herself. That she chose to ignore the advice of a man who had risen from attorney general of a backwater southern state to twice winning the highest office in the land follows logically given her history of stupidity and malfeasance.
Hillary has been blinded by feminist ideology. Go look at my earlier comments explaining how her side had fallen to a common (negative) side effect of being propagandists, which is believing your own propaganda.

Well, it ain’t over yet. But I suspect we are too near the end for anything but something truly cataclysmic to have a real effect on the outcome. The pace has been frenetic and maybe all that frenzy has finally exhausted the agents so intensely engaged. I, too, have come to expect some new headline blaring this or that revelation to appear every day. It’s like the tsunami has hit and is now receding and what remains is to survey the damage to determine what survived and what didn’t.
