anon, your commitment to moral values is admirable so do not despair. Many people in this world practice healing the world, by the name of tikkun olam or by other names. The people may be known in the Unz world as Citizenim.

The WikiLeaks memoranda notified the world that New York Times editors select themes for writers to pursue. What should concern people is what consistent historical themes are silent now. Why has the publication frequency of certain themes fallen since the election? Conan Doyle wrote about a dog that did not bark. Is the New York Times imitating that book for various barking dog issues in the kennel?

The Forward can not say to speak for all Jews. There are many strains of Jew and one Torah. The rest is details.

Such words about people and history. Do you not understand that Jews are not unified? There are what you call good Jews and what you call bad Jews. They are not similar. Jews have a problem in confrontation of the differences. Some Jews want good works to heal the world and to honor G_d. Other Jews look at the nations and seek power and money. Many families including Jewish families have dishonorable people. Those people do not have a conscience and do bad acts on earth. They do not look at retribution. That behavior brings shame to humanity.

The internal struggles of the Jewish community are not to be witnessed by Gentiles. The lashon hara mandate is to protect the community for survival. The Jewish presence and survival in the world speaks about two ideas. First is the Torah. Second is adaption. There are debates on interpretation and on methods and those debates bring some understanding and bring pain.

The current era people have minorities speaking for majorities. The majorities do not desire to live in the public and they seek stability for living righteous lives. Such discord is destructive.

Diasporim and sayanim fit together as hand and glove. There is no secret about the necessity of network affiliation for survival. Regimes change, Tsars come and go, survivors adapt or move to new lands. Survival over centuries takes work and plans.

Survival bonds together people with common goals and excludes people not with the beliefs.

How are history and ancestors explained to children when they read such news about goyim? How is that helping to heal the world?

When I wrote about types of Jews some days ago, a friend pointed out that I had missed a meta-Jew, the Sayanim. That makes a more complex analysis due to the upper stratum of persons and affiliations to cross beliefs and borders.

Israeli population is but a starting point for influence in the broader world. US, Britain, France and other countries have significant Jewish populations. One inadequately explored part of Jewish history and impact on the world is the historical contribution to animus in Europe. Some Jews in Poland – Lithuania made life worse for fellow Jews because they defrauded and abused Poles and Litwaks, and Russians, and Ukranians. All Jews suffer from reactions to that, and wonder why they suffer if their family did nothing bad. Should they turn on fellow Jews who defraud and abuse, or would their community turn on them? That is the age old question from eastern Europe and a question again in the middle east.
Should a Jew feel guilty because an Oligarch stole, or a coin clipper or usurer hurt people? Does it hurt the world or heal the world to look at community issues, or hush them up and demonize askers?

Obama is a manufactured candidate. He is designed to keep Americans distracted from the declines across their lives. The media support him because they are lapdogs instead of independent voices.

Americans are dared to laugh at Obama, and the media and handlers know that they will not laugh, lest they be accused of Racism.

The new style in American life is the Dispositive Style. Eliminate dissent by shouting down any attempt at independent or transparent voice. Silence criticism.

Obama incited racial problems like his idol MLK. Both were messianic narcissists who unleashed forces outside their control and then blamed Americans for the results. There was no chance of Obama honoring police which would undermine his credibility and opportunity for post-office money.

Americans should stop following blindly the lying politicians and servile press.
