San Francisco got 3 waves, the first in 1918 to about 1935 were Russians who fled east and got to the coast of Chiba and thence to San Francisco. 1948 to mid 50's Russians who stopped in China and fled to San Francisco after the communists took over China. Then in mid 1970s another group that is still coming.
All over the Midwest and east coast there communities of Poles, Hungarians, Germans, Serbs, Bulgarians, Chezch, Slovenes and Slovaks who fled the unspeakable horrors of the communist Russian takeover of their countries after WWW2.
These people are spread all over the country. I'm visiting relatives who live a few blocks to a beautiful Russian orthodox cathedral built by the 1918 to mid 30s refugees. Chicago has a huge Polish refugee community. Ohio and the Midwest is full of E Europeans whose grand parents fled after WW2.
People talk to their neighbors and wonder why there is a Russian cathedral or signs in Polish or Hungarian all over the neighborhood and learn about the joys of Russian communist domination.

Russia did not help us a bit in the Revolution. Spain helped us a lot by sending its navy to roam about India and the Caribbean. This forced the British to keep its troops in those colonies Spain also informed England that any attempt to send troops to New Orleans, Mobile, Florida and other Spanish territories would result in war Prussia and Austria helped by informing the British that they intended to stay neutral as did the Scandinavian countries.

The Russian navy was basically a Baltic Sea coast guard. Look at the map. Just a few British ships could prevent the Russian coast guard from getting out of the Baktuc into the North Sea.

France helped with millions of dollars, most of the armaments and thousands of soldiers and the diplomatic expertise to make Spain a non combat ally and the rest of Europe neutral.

Russia gave us no help at all in the re pluton. We didn't even get a trade treaty until 1832 decades after we signed treaties with the rest of Europe.

There was a coup in the USA in 1963. Most Americans decided not to root out the coup leaders and instead focused on sports and sitcoms. There were some who did want to root out the plotters but they were easily neutralised by the traitorous media and the usual useful idiots who found that they could pretend to appear intelligent just by crowing "conspiracy theorist" at any time the coup was mentioned.

Then the chest-thumpers wasted the wealth and fruits of a generation in Vietnam, all the while announcing to the world that they were great whilst enriching and emboldening the plotters whose plan all along was actually world domination. Endless, un-winnable wars have followed, all of which violate basic morality and the philosophies set out in The Art of War.

They killed the dream of America but because the rules of the Great Game dictate that controlling Russia and central Asia is key to winning so Russia has been declared evil and is always the enemy.

The majority of the people aren't really happy, some even know that the US comes in very low on the scale in many areas of quality of life but are quite content to chant USA! USA! USA!

Russia doesn't seem to be too keen on this notion of being neutralised and isn't playing along.
