RSSwhy do blacks oppose those on the right so much?
Anon
Are you serious? They oppose him because he represents everything they despise and can never be. He's a private school, Ivy League WASP named Brett. Every moment of the collective black consciousness that is occupied by Kavanaugh triggers their reflexive and very accurate feelings of incompetence and failure. That's why.
By the way, there's no such thing as a "black conservative" or "black liberal." Those are exclusively white concepts advanced by a people who are capable of higher order thinking. When blacks vote democrat they really don't know for whom or what they are pulling the lever other than "he gon gimme free shit."
You don't actually believe that J'won Q. Publik possesses even a limited understanding of, or the slightest concern for the politics of immigration, the economy, government spending, national security, environmental issues, etc.
Have you met a black guy?
As the descendant of WOP immigrants on both sides, I emphatically agree with everything Vox Day has to say about early European migrants. That's what the "But what about YOU and your ancestors?!!!" crowd fails to comprehend. We (WOPS, Micks, Pollacks, etc.) are not trying to gain Vox's or anyone else's approval, nor are we concerned about being recognized as "Real Americans or Heritage Americans." We never will be at that's fine by us.
Our great grandparents, grandparents, and parents were forced to assimilate. They were not molly-coddled by a system that encourages them to retain their ethnic identity or given the benefit of a bilingual education. They were shamed for speaking their native language outside the home and were taught to quickly adopt American customs and traditions. When you combine that with the fact that they looked similar enough to the Heritage folks then the difference starts to become clear. So all this nonsense about explaining the cycle of immigration and assimilation and trying to apply it to today's Latinos, Africans, and Middle Easterners just because that's how it went for previous generations of European immigrants is self-deception.
Also, if what happened to our ancestors was indoctrination, good. Who gives a fuck? There is such a thing as a distinct and uniquely American way of life, and it was clearly better than what they were escaping, or else they would have stayed wherever the hell they came from.

Agreed. I wouldn't expect the general public to have much in the way of specific knowledge. I'm just curious what the responses would be if the question was presented as "Do you support ownership of guns in which only one round fires per trigger pull?"
Next Poll: "Percentage of Americans who actually know what the fuck semi-automatic means."
"They don't whine about what they've agreed to go along with."
Could not agree more. I learned not to do this in the Army as a butter bar LT. It makes you look incredibly weak and ineffectual.
If he was going to sign it he should have just signed and shut up. Much better than: 1. threatening a veto 2. signing, but making it known that he strenuously protests 3. tweeting about the wonderful gun control measure the bill includes.
I'm not going full Black Pill (yet), as I think he still has a small window for redemption, but I don't see how there's any room left to make the 12D Chess argument anymore. Anyone who does is doing so out of desperation and hoping someone smarter than themselves sees some Trumpian long game tactics hidden in this blunder that they will let them in on
In the proper context that this sport will become diversified and representative of all people in our society. Greenway ultimately agrees with Eruzione, and Eruzione would certainly identify and respect where Greenway is coming from.
Corvinus
"Proper context" is your attempt at a reframe when the statements quoted clearly don't mesh with your blank slate ideal. I have yet to see any minority dominated institution (whether it is a particular sport, a university, or a business) put under scrutiny by outside forces for its lack of diversity. And I sure as hell doubt that pressure would ever come from within such an organization.
If winter sports become more racially diverse as a result of greater minority participation, then that's what happens. However, if the 2022 US Men's Speed Skating team is 98.8 percent black, I don't predict we'll see many of the members bemoaning a lack of white participation. Also, what the hell is the train are you referring to?
Corvinus,
“All American athletes, we come from different backgrounds, we all have different heritage and we’re very diverse. We know we’re diverse as a country, but our team was very diverse.”
– Mike Eruzione
“I’ve been able to accomplish a lot of good things and just allowing a lot of African-American kids who are younger than me who see kind of what I’m doing, I hope that can be an inspiration for them,” Greenway told Sporting News. “Go out and do something different against the typical stereotypes that most African-Americans play basketball, or whatever the case is.”
– Jordan Greenway
So in the case of Eruzione, we have a WHITE athlete talking about diversity and inclusiveness, so as not to exclude any one race. Notice his use of the phrase "All Americans," and the words "We," and "diversity."
In the case of Greenway, he uses no such language. He is a BLACK athlete talking about being a role model exclusively for BLACKS.
Are you getting it yet? Anyway, thanks for strengthening the Alt-Right position with your post.
Right. There are a subset of whites who don't make it about race. Everyone else does
And unfortunately ours is the only race that has such a subset. "The others" are completely unburdened by the need to keep up appearances and they don't seem to give a shit who notices.
I still have friends who buy into the "Most people don't care about race." "My black/brown friend from grad school isn't like that." B.S. My guess is they sense the open disdain being directed at them and they need some way to feel safe. What they don't realize is that they're diverse "friend" would throw them over in a heartbeat in favor of a total stranger as long as their colors matched
But leave it the Coalition of the Right Fringe Groups and the Coalition of the Left Fringe Groups to make it about race.
Everything is about race. We're well passed the "regular hard workin' folks don't care about race. Thy're just proud of their Olynpians cuz they done real good for R country" boiler plate.
The real headline here is that 2.2 percent of blacks think whites are treated less fairly. Never thought I'd see the day
