RSSI’m not a sock puppet or Chinese. I saw a link to that video on Twitter and wanted to know what it was about.
Thank you. I believe similar reasoning is used in for example the “Out of Africa” theory, with Africa having more genetic diversity and thus being the origin.
Thank you. Do you have any links to the Japanese articles?
The US government’s response has been strangely complacent. The CDC has been quite reluctant about testing and has not been promoting testing, and there are now reports that the CDC’s tests don’t even work.

Astounding: the test that U.S. authorities use to identify coronavirus is faulty, so very few people have actually been tested.
Meaning: more Americans could have it right now, and we wouldn't know.https://t.co/S9POVh1Yvw— David Fahrenthold (@Fahrenthold) February 26, 2020
Are there any Chinese speakers that could explain this video clip for us? Apparently it’s from a Taiwanese TV program that aired recently where they discuss how the coronavirus may have originated in the US:

Apparently there was also a Japanese TV program recently that discussed the same thing, although I haven’t been able to locate any clips of it.
China’s top epidemiologist, Zhong Nanshan, who discovered the SARS outbreak, gave a press conference the other day where he said the virus may not have originated in China.
