RSSThere is an article everyone should read because it says things about race and social dialogue much better than you can read elsewhere. It is from a South Africa website so it references the African National Congress (ANC) -The ruling South African “party”. Read it, change a few references, and see if it doesn’t describe what is happening in the US today…including when anyone criticizes the current administration. Food for thought.

To quote from the opening:
“A South African artist called Brett Murray has been causing a huge stir since his painting of South Africa’s president titled The Spear was put up in a local gallery. The ANC have worked themselves up into a total frothy about the painting and their biggest issue with it – It’s racist. ??????? Disrespectful, maybe. Rude, maybe. But racist???
That little word that has become the political whip with which the ANC work the masses up into angry mobs and riots anytime something happens that they don’t like. And it’s becoming really, really tiring. In South Africa, the word racist has lost its original meaning and now only get’s used to describe a white person doing something a black person doesn’t like. You never hear it used in any other context…….” “Most of the time when you are a white person and you call your fellow countrymen to be held accountable for their unacceptable words and actions such as corruption, nepotism, fraud, theft, you’ll be branded a racist."
Also, remember what someone once said when told he had offended someone. " Just because you are offended doesn't make you right." Keep that in mind the next time someone tells you they are offended by your remarks when you state facts about race in America.
Harold C. great observation. The racial percentages of judges have nothing to do with racial population but everything to do with the percentage QUALIFIED to be judges. From what I have seen of (sadly too many) Black attorneys, even if they make up 6% of Georgia's attorneys, how many are really qualified to be attorneys let alone judges ( I don’t apply that to states like California which sets very high standards for anyone to pass the Bar Exam). 30% of Georgia judges being Black is truly discriminatory against Whites who are qualified.
As a comparison, about 8.3% of all federally employed attorneys are Black…..but go to the "Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)" and nearly 25% of them are Black. In fact, go to the Department of Education’s "Civil Rights Division" and over 20% of their attorneys are Black. Since over 50% of all federal employees involved in the “EEO” and “civil rights” business are Black, I have a feeling that federal employed Black attorneys are over represented in anything dealing with those “concerns.”
On a side note, we have all read about how deplorable many Atlanta schools are. They give diplomas to students who are functionally illiterate. 34% of Georgia Black applicants (who were HS graduates) who applied to join the Army tested failed the test, putting them below a 7th grade education level. They also have a very high dropout rate for Black students. Only 43% of Black males in Georgia graduate from High School. Not a great base to draw employees from. Yet 37% of federal employees in Georgia are Black. 61% of Department of Education, 66% of Treasury (primarily IRS) and 58% of veterans Administration employees are Black. 65% of all TSA inspectors in Georgia are Black. How many of them are really qualified to do their jobs?
Once again Harold, you hit the nail on the head. Racial percentages mean nothing. Qualified percentages mean everything. 44% of all White college graduates graduate with a college level education vs only 13% of all Black graduates who graduate with a college level of education (according to the Department of Education). 30% of all Black college graduates have less than a 9th grade level education vs only 7% of White college graduates. Blacks continue to insist that they deserve 10% of all jobs requiring a college education because they make up 10% of all college graduates when, in reality, only 13 out of every 1000 Black graduates have a real college education. Let’s start using numbers based on quality not quantity. Oops, does that mean I am racist?
Harold Westmoreland,
You aren’t seeing things. It is happening. Of 80,400 federal employees in Georgia, 29,800 are Black (37%). However, 68% of IRS employees in Atlanta are Black. Blacks make up 10% of the Relevant Civilian Labor Force (RCLF) yet make up nearly 18% of all federal employees. VA is 24 % Black but the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) says it should be 9.3%; Health and Human Services should be 10% Black but is 20% Black; Social Security Administration (SSA) is 28% Black but OPM says it should be 9%. GSA is 26% Black but should only be 8%; HUD is 38% Black but OPM says it should only be 8% Black. The numbers go on and on. With the retirement of baby boomers, who are usually higher grade employees, it is going to get worse.
However, when you look at the organizations like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) which works hat in hand with the “Civil Rights” division in DOJ, there is anything but diversity. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) says that the RCLF for the EEOC for Black employment is 8% yet the EEOC is over 42% Black. Blacks make up 8% of all federal attorneys yet they make up 25% of attorneys at the EEOC. Blacks make up 51% of all the people in the EEO and civil rights analysis business across the government.
The “Civil Rights” Division at DOJ is minority driven and every person hired by Mr. Holder comes from a left-wing “civil rights” background. They won’t look at themselves; they won’t do anything to fix the criminal practice of over-hiring Blacks (at the expense of Whites and Hispanics). The only federal agency that has been attacked for lack of diversity is the Department of Interior because they “only” had a 6.5% Black workforce when their “quota” is 9%.
24% of federal employees employed as police or as security guards are Black but, as you noted, to ensure they are meeting government quotas for money going to minority owned contractors, 80%-90% or more of contract police and security guards are Black….and you should be very worried. I have walked into federal buildings and seen armed security personnel flashing gang-banger signs to each other. If something happens, you cannot rely on someone with a badge and a gun to be on your side. Not trying to alarm you, just stating the truth.
Why does the government employee so many contractors like you? Because you are doing the work that these people are incapable of doing. They lack the ability, skills and knowledge to get things done properly. There is no civil service exam; it got thrown out by the Carter Administration in 1981 because only 14.5% of Blacks passed the test vs. 47% of Whites while only 0.6% of Blacks were considered “well qualified (90% on test score)” vs. 13.2% of Whites. Many of the Blacks who could not meet even a minimum score ended up getting hired AND promoted. Trust me. When you see a GS-9 or above that doesn’t have a college degree, based on personal experience, it is because they can’t do the work; many of these people, even after working for the federal government for 15-20 years still read, write, and comprehend at less than an 8th grade level. Like I said before, unless someone with deep pockets and brass b**** steps up to the plate on the hypocrisy that is local, state and federal hiring, it is going to get far worse for all of us. Maybe someday, I’ll tell you about what is happening in the military when it comes to diversity. Also, not a pretty picture.
What this article is missing is what has been the impact on the rest of Illinois as the ghetto projects of Chicago have been emptied and the funding of Section 8 housing has expanded to the rest of Illinois.
Small,middle-class towns that never had a black population or crime now have significant Black populations, all exported from Chicago. Crime, drugs and gang-related violence has followed them.
Take some time and look at the demographics of Illinois towns that 10-20 years ago had minimal (if any)Black populations and see how much Black populations have increased and then look at the increase in crime. Especially look at increased levels of violence in local schools which were at one time virtually crime free.
It has not so much to do with Blacks per se as it does with the non-existent values they bring with them, that they were brought up with. I can only imagine how much worse Chicago crime would be like if it had not been allowed to export its largest, disfunctional class of people.
Of course, the gangs/thugs love it. They have increased their span of control, presence and "markets" compliments of the taxpayer. Oh yeah, the taxpayers are also funding an unlimited growth of new gang members since, in today's world, underclass, illiterate Blacks, Hispanics (and Whites) have kids because of the free money and benefits they get.
Unfortunately, if you put all the various references to the accomplishments of the Tuskegee togther so that someone could read them all and draw their own conclusions, a major part of our population (regardless of race although Blacks have a higher probability of being functionally illiterate), they would be unable to decide for themselves the truth versus the fiction. To them, the only truth will be on the movie screen and will only be a politically correct truth.
Read 1984. The party that controls the past, controls the current and the future. In 1984, the Party controls the past by physically changing past issues of the "Times" to reflect current reality. The same thing is happening today the only difference being that, since fewerand fewer people (including college graduates)can read and have critical thinking and analytic reasoning skills. Hisotry is being revised in our PC classrooms, books and reading are being marginalized. Everything is being done to change the always true "2+2=4" and our freedom tosay it into "2+2=5" and woe be to them who disagrees.
20 years from now, this fictional movie will be the truth, regardless of what really happened….if we let it.
