You are repeating an accusation against Iran that you could not support the last time you made it, saying you had read something thirty years ago and couldn’t find it. Your attempt to recruit Encyclopedia Britannica in your cause fails as the wording there is it is nowhere near as categorical as yours. Provide evidence that “Iraq attacked Iran, because Iranian crazies were shelling Iraqi border towns and settlements”. Among other things, you will have to prove that any shelling form Iran was not itself a response to shelling from Iraq.

It is nonsense, of course, and the whole world knows it. Iraq attacked Iran for a variety of reasons: Saddam’s megalomania and his vision of himself as heir to great ancient Mesopotamian conquerors, Pan-Arabist notions of recovering lost Arab glory, and the related view of southwestern Iran as Arab territory, fantasies of grabbing the oil, seeing an opportunity for a quick victory when Iran was in a post-revolutionary chaos, dissatisfaction with the division of the river between the two countries, expectation of support from the US and Arab monarchies against the Iranian revolution, fear that the revolution in Iran would spread to Shiites in Iraq, and so on.

Given a large segment of the population can ignore their own biology, all of human history, their family day-to-day reality and the animal kingdom’s biological templates, ignoring a bit of genetic research appears trivial.

So we have soccer, foreign HBD stuff, and now a low rent silly movie, and still nothing from you about the US citizens in Murrieta blocking the FedGov’s attempt to stuff illegal aliens in their city. Now they’re talking about bringing in riot police to engage protesters in the name of criminals. Seems to fit with all the citizenist stuff you go on about I would think.

I remember you were pretty staunchly refusing to cover Trayvon Martin for about two weeks and that blew up, so maybe you should keep on ignoring what’s going on so this becomes a major media story.

I doubt Dorner was particularly stupid (the Navy probably has an IQ (ASVAB) cutoff at least as high as the Army's).

I wonder about the steroids question– he did look rather pumped, and the LAPD drug test may not have looked for exercise drugs.

I suspect Dorner was a bit nuts, not simply stupid. Combine that with socially-encouraged racial resentment and, well…

I predicted Dorner's suicide (admittedly, not a risky prediction):

I propose an explanation with a somewhat different emphasis:

The British working class hardly exists any more– its heirs have all devolved into the British welfare-dependent-drunken-yob/ football-hooligan class.

Children from that class are so remarkably degraded and intoxicated that they don't even enter singing contests any more, much less form bands or participate in theatre.

So the only groups from which talented youngsters can emerge are the salaried- and upper- classes. Many of those young people go to non-State schools because their parents want to keep them out of the drunken-hooligan class.

It's quite possible that Dorner was to the Navy as Major Hassan was to the Army: an incompetent who no one dared to give a bad score in any program, since none of his superiors could risk charges, however unfounded, of racism. He seems to have been a poor police cadet and probationary officer as well, but eventually he blundered into some action for which it seemed he could be expelled without racism charges sticking to his bosses.

THEY WERE WRONG!

Oh how Dorner's police bosses must be gnashing their teeth and bewailing their fates tonight! The chief has announced that they will all swing for racism, because the rule of society today is that when a black man blames his misconduct on the racism of his employer, it must be true! It cannot be false, because if the charge of racism were false that would mean the man who made the charge was a liar, but lying is disreputable, so anyone who calls a black man a liar is a racist, therefore to disbelieve a black man is racist, so the only alternative is to believe the charge, therefore the LAPD is racist.

Indeed, the LAPD has always been racist. LAPD racism caused the Watts riots in 1965 and the Rodney King riots in 1992. LAPD racism forced Tom Bradley to give up his LAPD lieutenancy and settle for becoming Mayor of Los Angeles. LAPD racism gave us the famous "gorillas in the mist" and Mark Fuhrman episodes, not to mention Latasha Harlins* and Margaret L. Mitchell.

The LAPD can never be purged of racism, can never atone and reform, because all Amerikkkan policing is racist. The police in Amerikkka refuse to stop observing and investigating and questioning and frisking and arresting and confining black people. The police are incorrigibly racist and we won't be free of their racism while a single police officer remains on the job in this country.

*The LAPD could have arrested Soon Jo Du before she ever attacked that innocent shopper, but they let her stay in her convenience store like some horrible spider in the center of its web, just waiting for a black teenager to blunder in.
