I'm not referring to polygamy as in the Mormon type of polygamy, rather a male traveling engaging in sexual relations with a "temporary wife". It does happen, and Muslims have admitted to me that it happens. There is even a "ceremony", and the permanent wife is told about it. The Israeli PM publically alluded to the fact that Soleimani had almost been killed in the Mossad operation to kill Imad Mughniyeh a decade ago. The Iranian public knew that Soleimani had narrowly escaped death from Israeli drones, because Soleimani appeared on Iranian TV in October and told the story. A plot kill him by at a memorial service in Iran was supposedly foiled. He came from Lebanon by way of Syria into Iraq as if none of this had happened. Trump had sacked Bolton and failed to react to the drone attack on Saudi oil. Iran seems to have thought that refusal to actually fight in the type of war that the international conventions were designed to regulate is a licence to exert pressure by launch attacks without being targeted oneself. Now do they understand.

But PC logic pegs 'racism' only with supremacism or superiority pertaining to whites. So, anything that indicates white superiority in any field is 'racist'. And anything that lauds evidence of lack of white superiority or even white inferiority is seen as 'anti-racist'. But if a black guy is better than whites at sports, doesn't that mean black superiority? But that's okay.

Similar dynamics exists between Jews and whites. It's perfectly fine for Jews to wail about white privilege and white over-representation, especially compared to blacks(and browns). Too-Many-Whites is proof of 'racism'. But whites better not notice anything about Too-Many-Jews even though Jews, at only 2% of the US population, are the most disproportionately powerful and privileged people in the country.

Also, it's stupid to blame 'white supremacism' for white superiority in world power. It's putting cart in front of the horse. More likely, whites developed supremacist attitudes because they gained superiority first. And the superiority came about by complex set of reasons that were cultural, historical, geographic, and genetic. (Also, it was only a handful of white groups that came to world greatness whereas most didn't and some, like the Byzantine Greeks, totally declined.)

Supremacy doesn't guarantee superiority. Chinese had supremacist arrogance about being part of the Middle Kingdom. But that didn't save them from reality. Great White Hopers has supremacist hope that white guys would beat black guys like Jack Johnson. But wish didn't come true. Supremacy sometimes emerges from superiority, but it is not the guarantor of superiority. Muhammad Ali was great not because he felt or said it but could prove it objectively.

I think your description of political moods in Taiwan is accurate. The old KMT guards are becoming less and less relevant. Even they realize that their insistence on standing for the whole China was a cardinal mistake which put Taiwan in the current predicaments. 50 or so years ago Taiwan sovereignty and independence if it was put on the table then was very likely to be granted. But now is now and Taiwan has still a good chance but its population must unify in one goal which will be greatly helped if China continue its chauvinist unyielding rhetoric that for pretty much everybody who is not a Chicom is very repulsive. Most commenters of Chinese origin are chauvinist Chicoms and other non Chinese are just useful idiots or provocateurs that would include the author of the article.

There are many idiots here dwelling in Unz, spewing out their profound knowledge on Xi and the alike.

There are also many Whites here, hyping up their own downfall on Jews and the alike while downplaying their own societal problems and blaming on all others.

There are also many pseudo Asians here, never commenting on their own respective articles on the country of supposed origin and yet claiming they're from the country and you'd always find them in China's articles and all other White's ones only.

What I suspect is, nowadays many Whites are migrating to East Asia and Asian countries and settling over there. Some have a profound knowledge on the locals and yet they don't attach themselves with local struggle and misery of the past. Instead what we are seeing is the beginning of a well thought out process to bring China to heel via grand geopolitical strategy, with maybe a direct-action intervention as a coup the grace if the big picture unfolds properly. What is going to happen in the medium term is economic divestment from China as a manufacturing base by American and American controlled proxies' multinationals and their reshoring or relocation to other low cost nations. Since the USA controlled or allied sphere includes just about every relevant nation state aside from Russia and China itself, this will have huge repercussions for Chinese economic and thus political stability.

Political alliances will also be strengthened to hamper China's ability to bust out of its immediate littoral and secure shipping lanes and resources globally. China is actually in an unenviable geographical position, as it is surrounded on all sides by nations that will naturally align with the American block in the coming geopolitical standoff, with the notable exception of Russia. It is also completely unable to safeguard the sea-lanes on which it depends for vital resources.

The way I ultimately see the situation playing it is all of the above weakening the Chinese economy and creating social unrest, unrest which will of course be fueled whenever possible by Western intelligence agencies, corporations, and the general American dominated cultural zeitgeist. Once the Chinese regime is weak, I could imagine the West manufacturing some crisis to justify an aggressive attempt at all out regime change in China.

That would likely happen by imposing airtight sanctions against China and completely closing off the sea-lanes to starve the country into submission. I actually could see China being able to survive such a blockade, but only if it is has access to Russian resources. However, I think it's pretty clear that taking back control of Russia or at least forcing it into neutrality is part, parcel and prerequisite for America's overall plan to vanquish China. Without overland access to Russian resources I don't believe China would have any option but to capitulate in the face of a naval blockade and complete worldwide political isolation. Even if the CCP tried to resist to the last starving Chinese a la the WWII Japanese regime I don't believe the coddled, consumerist 1 child Chinese populace would let it. China would have to surrender, whether through external pressure or internal chaos.

What would happen to a subjugated China? It has the potential to be way too powerful if even nominally independent, so I doubt a puppet government of the type installed in Iraq and Afghanistan would be allowed to rule the country lest the puppet regime goes rogue. Instead I envision a return to the paradigm China has enjoyed for the better part of the last 1000 years: foreign rule and an imported managerial class and occupation force to keep the populace in check. That's how it worked for centuries under the Mongols and that's mostly how it worked for centuries under the Manchus until as recently as 1912. China is a kind of Mr Jekyll/Mr Hyde in that it has the potential to be overwhelmingly powerful and dangerous for world stability but at the same time the Chinese are rather timid people and acquiesce to foreign rule readily, much more similar to the Japanese in this way than to rowdy Afghans and Arabs.

Here I must mention that India is likely to play a pivotal role both in reigning China in prior to regime change and helping manage the country afterwards, hence my interest in this topic. The USA would have neither the logistics or human capital to form the bulk of the managerial and occupation forces that would be required to govern a country China's size whereas India shares a common border and has a youthful and rapidly growing population.

In fact, India will have a massive excess of young men in the coming decades due to selective abortions, so the above scenario would be an incredible geopolitical and societal boon. A large chunk of these excess young men could be sent over to China to run the country, acquiring Chinese partners in the process. Unlike Anglin's specter of "black-on-yellow gang-bangs" the Indian man/Chinese woman pairing is extremely compatible and already one of the most common and rapidly growing inter-ethnic patterns in the world, from HK and Singapore to elite universities and corporations in the United States.

All that I wrote above is of course entirely hypothetical and most likely will not play out in the way I described. Still, any Western plan to seize control of China is much more likely to develop the way I propose than it is to involve an actual massive conventional war reminiscent of the WWII Pacific, so Anglin need not concern himself with the notion of white men dying in the Guangdong trenches.
