RSSWas Kevin Barrett acting as a Devil’s advocate, or is he simply that clueless? I like this site, but the shilling for the whole denial industry is really frustrating. Makes one wonder why?
"... Shilling..." ?
You haven't been to this site too often before, have you ?
"... denial industry..." ?
... do you not understand ?
A Collection of Interesting, Important, and Controversial Perspectives Largely Excluded from the American Mainstream Media
No quibbles with this column’s theme at all. Ok, one comment. John Galt’s strike was definitely not an endorsement of unbridled capitalism as depicted in the article. Quite the opposite, actually. Ayn Rand was all about Individualism, and took “government money” and ZOG ( if you will) to task repeatedly throughout both books. You want a hero, look to Hank Reardon, not Bill Gates or the bald Amazon dude.
As an aside, since I seldom read anyone making this point: it’s absolutely true that we could have drinkable water in the oceans, salinity plants up and down the coasts to solve water problems, clean air, and endless other things fixed for a fraction of Wall Streets net worth. So kudos to the author. I too, wonder why people vote for idiots who can’t respond to issues like these, if only a knowing nod.
It’s in the way back machine
Damn. I wish I drank Bud products so I could stop drinking them. Unfortunately, no offense to Bud drinkers, it tastes like piss water. Kicked that habit at college graduation. My understanding is their sales have been dropping for years, anyway. No biggie; I don’t ride horses anyway.
Interesting column. I had to look up Sarpeidon Library. I would have gone with a Murder Mystery genre, but I like yours better. And Geri Ryan was hot back in the day. The leaking of her divorce details allowed OBummer to win an election and eventually propelled him into the White House. Picard would not approve.
My own personal rabbit-hole was 911. I could easily find Americans who were all in with the official story, and willing to vociferously argue about it. To be honest, a month later I myself was sitting in an aisle seat on a 727 staring at the cockpit door, wondering how I could subdue someone in an emergency. Weird, huh? Nay-sayers were not ostracized, but seemingly in a minority. Even the revelation of the building 7 event didn’t raise eyebrows too much.
Rinse, wash repeat. Weapons of mass-destruction, bank failures, pandemics, hundred of other events just in recent history. Every one resulting in a polarization of the populace. My own conclusions are that most, probably not all, carry a preponderance of truth, and two, that it will take years, if ever, for a version of that truth to attain the status of truth. What process, for example, is driving the ongoing drive for vaccinations, despite the now obvious danger they possess? (which is still an open issue even on this site)
Anyway, I am age 71, and regardless of when I check out, I’m quite certain there will not be a resolution to any of these questions by then. A frustration I’m sure I share with thousands of readers here. But I find some comfort that the arguments continue. It’s important to just keep saying No. Which is why I am here.
