Ron, I doubt I could ever win you over to my side by a pure racial argument, but population swells should be enough to make you anti-immigrant. When I was in SoCal, even with the 6 lane freeways, the traffic was out of the world. As you pointed out housing costs are astronomical, and most importantly the environment has taken a huge it with all the people.

Aside from the most important thing, preserving California natural beauty, high density living IMO opinion is miserable. In China they have “coffin apartments.” Think of how cheap CA could be with coffin apartments!

If anything land in CA should be reclaimed, with many buildings torn down, with land being returned to nature.

The late Seth Roberts wrote a number of interesting blog posts about taking vitamin D3 supplements. What does “doing well” really mean? Does it just mean making a lot of money? Some of us, including I think Steve Sailer, chose a job because, at least relative to other career options, it is enjoyable. As for why I am in education? My answer is June, July, and August. So many people I worked with at office jobs in my old career track talked a lot about how they wanted to retire. My feeling from corporate office work was that my life was slipping away. Teachers make less money than corporate climber types, but at least we get our time off during our life primes so that we can enjoy life.

Then there is our variation in hair and eye color.

Pitt has the athletic physique of a boxer. Can you imagine the skinny fat DiCaprio playing Pitt’s role in Fight Club or the boxer in Snatch? I can’t. Pitt is this much better suited to the more physical role of a fighting stunt man. (A young Kurt Russell would have been a good fit for that role, too).
