RSS“achieving the opposite results”….Not really. The goal of US militancy is the destruction of functioning middle east societies. This is what is observed. So,” few parts of Syria not devastated by war”, it seems this observable policy is succeeding.. Those nations still standing, are just further down the list. Well, save the obvious one untouched. All else is obfuscation.

The results show that if President Trump were to announce that he was ordering the withdrawal of all troops from Afghanistan he would have the support of 61% of Americans. A parallel survey of current and former armed forces personnel found that such a move would be even more popular, with 69% in support.
Many critics of the war in Afghanistan have blamed the lack of success on the absence of a strategy for operations in the country. Such a view seems to be shared by the American public, with the majority (55%) saying the US does not have a strategic objective for the conflict (as do 59% of veterans).

The results of the survey come at a time when the public is sceptical about the US global military presence. Close to half of Americans (45%) and veterans (49%) think that the US should be less militarily engaged worldwide. Around a third of each group (32-33%) would keep engagement levels about the same, while 14-16% want to see them ramped up.
You mean, kill anyone who doesn’t want them there, isn’t a strategy?
Candidate trump promised to carpet bomb ISIS cities. This, he has done. The 3000 marines he inserted into Syria included two batteries of 155mm artillery. They launched 80ooo guided shells into Syria as of Nov 2018. Let’s assume 100ooo by now. 400 such shells turns any US state medieval. Then, there is the air, naval attacks. Who needs a “new war”? Fact is, all the easy picking “new wars” are no longer available, unless John Kelly works his dark magic in Venezuela. The reason trump could not attack North Korea has nothing to do with whatever “policy” you fantasize. It is because the North built nukes, and a delivery system to hit Tokyo, that’s why. Get along with Russia? What a joke, in his first 2 years Obama met with Putin and inked the new Start treaty. Does spanky have any policy improvements towards Russia? I don’t see any. Looks like the author just enrolled in trumpU.
The notion that trump drew down troops anywhere is absurd. Troop levels and bombing rates remain considerably higher, in all theaters, than the end of the Obama era. The troops he “says” he is withdrawing, are troops he deployed himself.
Or, Obama and the police agencies investigated a known organized crime stooge when it became apparent the GOP could offer no other candidate. Ironically, this was the original intent of the creation of the FBI.
Don’t play into the “victim trump” brand, he needs no help with it.
That the investigation into trumps organized crimes ties may have been corrupted, doesn’t change the fact of those ties. You put a known stooge up for president, he is gonna be anally inspected. Would expect no less from the GOP. Nice FISA distraction tho.
If you are hanging out here you know we have had nothing but stooges as President for _decades_.

Nice distraction tho.
Nice FISA distraction tho.
The protests have been usurped to violence by the CIA, and US mercenaries, for the sole purpose of continuing the kneecapping of yet another ME country.
A deluge of articles on “dems want to attack” Russia….sheesh, is Bannon editor of everything now ?
