Do you seriously think white people live around black people?

America largely is an ethnostate. Most homeowners are white and they tend to live in all white neighborhoods.

You're the odd man out who chooses to live in a ghetto because he needs the extra $250 a month to eat at Golden Coral on the daily.

This. I once counted 20 cars parked on a cul-de-sac with four houses. It was in a neighborhood that was rapidly Hispanifying. And it wasn’t a one time thing. I drove by the cul-de-sac most days on my way home from work, and it always had that many cars.

The biggest problem with living on a busy street isn’t necessarily the volume of traffic. It’s all the assholes who gun their engines: bikers, guys with modified mufflers, monster trucks, etc. For much of my life I tended to have a generally charitable view of humanity - probably a byproduct of my Mormon upbringing. After we lived on a busy street for a few years I found profound cynicism about humanity much easier to maintain.

Just before we moved to Utah we lived in a neighborhood that was one of the richer neighborhoods in our city. It was also home to a lot of the city’s Jewish population. One thing I noticed was that the city seemed to have gone to great lengths to keep random traffic from driving through our neighborhood. Left turns into the neighborhood were hard to come by.

My guess, if it’s not already happening, is that Apple and Google will eventually tweak their driving apps to avoid routing people through wealthy neighborhoods. It will be a new form of redlining.

It’s not just blacks and mexicans. Younger drivers in general seem to have a habit of parking two or three feet from the curb, even if they are parking with the driver side to the curb. It’s puzzling.

Affirmative action and Section 8 were in part response to Black riots and the violence of the 60s.

Nixon even said privately on tape that Black men have to be bought off.

F-ck conservatism and this belief that "minimal government" will fix everything. Such problems never should have existed if that were true.

There was never some conservative renaissance in Black America. The White police simply looked the other way on what happened.

Section 8 isn't even available to most Black men. Even most Black women with chillren are turned down. There are only so many slots available and even liberals no longer fight to increase them. There is in fact a crazy amount of applications when a Section 8 slot opens up.

The blame for black violence falls solely on violent blacks.
