Mathis (or the committee of writers posing as a him) originally did not use them, but more recent papers have if the subject is an event more recently, or occasionally at a genealogical record on one of the commercial genealogical sites.
I find the genealogical stuff is often boring and taken possibly too far. But occasional gems come up (The Hinckley and Bush families intermarrying for several generations is a very interesting one, and casts the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan in an entirely different light. Which means that John Hinckley wasn't pining for the attention of some Hollywood bint; Hinckley was attempting to get his uncle (!) promoted to President only ~75 days after being sworn in as Vice President. The Jodi Foster nonsense was just to cast him as a deranged but so as to -- very effectively it seems -- dissuade people into looking for a logical motive. This would put George H. W. Bush at the very top of a list of suspects of a probable conspiracy, just as LBJ with respect to JFK.

Finally, with respect to π = 4 *for* *motion* and ONLY motion. It's a very significant development (prompted by anomalies noticed by both the US and Soviet space programs, in which orbital mechanics equations have required a correction factor whenever pi is used. The correction factor is equal to 4/π, and thus replaces every instance of π with 4 in such equations.

What's the explanation?

It's fairly obvious. The "Manhattan distance" for the perimeter of a circle is 4 times the diameter... Therefore 4d rather than πd.

THIS means that movement of all particles is most likely subject travelling along some sort of extremely fine 3-dimensional grid, and thus reviving the "fabric of space" idea which physics was heading towards around the previous turn of the century.

If such a grid work exists and particles cannot travel anywhere except for along the vertices between nodes, this will fundamentally change our understanding of particle physics, which at this time has been stuck since the 1930's at, as Richard Feynman so memorably phrased it: "Shut up and compute" because NOBODY in the physics community has even the vaguest answer to "why?" with regards to Quantum Mechanics.

An underlying grid system with points and vertices which all particles are MANDATORILY bound to be on at all times could very well account for a large number of things, especially spontaneous atomic fission and the general rule that the larger the nucleaus, the more frequent the such nuclei will undergo nuclear fission.
