The amount of time I've spent waiting in line while people fiddled around with Food Stamps or SNAP cards in lieu of cash has been negligibly small (I seem to recall WIC ate up more processing time). Since groceries are frequently replenished and their consumption is influenced by considerations of taste and amenity, they aren't a proper object of sectorally specific subsidies; neither is housing and neither are utility bills. You have sectoral subsidies in problem markets like medical care, long-term care, schooling, and (now and again) legal counsel. Sectoral subsidies distort markets and are indifferently adapted to the utility function of individual households, so are inadvisable as a rule. Different sorts of cash transfers give you more bang for the buck.

But you miss the point entirely. These people would not be in line in front of us AT ALL if they were instead waiting in line at the government-run food distribution warehouse. It would be a breath of fresh air. Shopping would be so much more pleasant!

Furthermore, they always seem to have cash on hand for electronic gizmos, video games, etc, which they have to pay for in separate transactions while you wait behind them in line. Remember – Walmart sells food AND all of those other things, all under the same roof.

And this raises two more questions:

    1. Wouldn’t a food distribution center ensure that these low IQ poors are getting proper nutrition? I mean…. how many times have you seen one of these spandex-clad land whales in the checkout line, paying for half a dozen gallons of colored sugar water with one of those SNAP cards? And with the consumption of said sugar water, what are the hidden costs to our healthcare system? It would be better to give them FREE water filters!

    2. Every dollar spent on video games and other electronic gizmos could have been spent on necessities, such as food. I understand that every dollar spent into the economy contributes to GDP, but come on.

Joe Sobran nailed this almost a quarter century ago:

"Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It's Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself.
Other races feel like subjects of Western power long after colonialism, imperialism, and slavery have disappeared.
The charge of racism puzzles whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled good will, because they don't grasp what it really means: humiliation.
The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn't conscious of it.
    And, superiority excites envy.
Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call minorities."
    Joseph Sobran, April 1997

In a 1997 lecture, Joseph Sobran elucidated:

The modern state has to police more and more of our lives, because it has set itself against the normal. It defines normal acquisition as greed, normal group preferences as bigotry, and normal morality as hate. Consequently it has to watch over us at all times to make sure we aren’t too assertive about our normality, while it caters to our abnormalities.

Treason used to mean the subversion of the state. But the state itself now works the subversion of society. In other times, including Shakespeare’s, it has been understood that the state’s whole justification for existing is to support and protect normal life against the criminal, the savage, the perverse. Even tyrants never questioned this assumption.

    QUOTE:

What is added by this report?

This is the first report to examine racial/ethnic disparities in fatal drowning rates by age and setting. Overall, American Indians/Alaska Natives were twice as likely, and blacks 1.4 times as likely, to drown as whites. The disparity increased when only drowning deaths in swimming pools were considered. Blacks aged 5–19 years were 5.5 times more likely to drown in a swimming pool than their white peers, and at ages 11–12 years, blacks drowned in swimming pools at 10 times the rate of whites.

What are the implications for public health practice?

Swimming skills can be life-saving. The disparity in self-reported swimming skills among black children and adults might help to explain the disparity in drowning rates and should be addressed through support of swimming lessons and other proven interventions.

Who do you sniveling cowards think you are kidding? You face diaper wearing morons are too busy hiding under your beds from a cold virus during one of the never-ending lockdowns to stand for anything. Because a fight takes two participants, otherwise it is just a beating. And TPTB can put a beatdown on any of you shit-eaters any time they want, any way they want, for as long as they want AND THEY KNOW IT.

Have any of you formed or joined a militia? Have any of you formed a networked group to create flash mobs to counter businesses demanding mask wearing? Have any of organized groups whose aim is to create systematic non-compliance over tax payments? Have any of you cancelled all accounts in banks and moved exclusively to credit unions, or moved exclusively to cash payments for all transactions? Have any of you ever even tried to get a large group of like-minded people together to oppose a lockdown from local authorities? Are any of you talking to the Local Police to take their temperature about reforming as a necessary, if unfortunately extralegal, organization? Have any of you ever protested at a school board meeting? Have any of you withdrawn all support for your allegedly Christian Churches for voluntarily closing down during Easter, because the Government told them so? Have a single one of you ever contacted your Alma Mater and told them you have ended all financial support for said College/University, permanently, for supporting Censorship? Have any of you ever called out a single Negrodolater over their noxious (and suicidal) moral preening about Race? When have any of you formed Fraternal Organizations so that if one of you gets fired for saying something at Work, others retaliate, and retaliate SEVERELY, against the ex-Employer? (Which btw would squelch work-place censorship in a nano-second.)

Seriously, when the hell have a single one of you perpetual losers ever done a single thing to oppose the enveloping tyranny, other than whine on the internet over your situation?

The Left has taken I pluribus Unum seriously:
They have seized the entire Media in our country, despite the fact that Television stations are licensed by the FCC and must reply to the Government, if they were made to do so, and the (remaining) Newspapers must answer to their advertisers.
They openly threaten, Blackmail, and if necessary, assault everyone from Local Public Officials to Fortune 500 CEO's with impunity.
Their armed militias openly rampage through the streets of our cities, looting, burning, and raping without any fear of retaliation.
They impose an iron fist on our University system, despite the fact that your tax dollars and donations are a pillar of support for those Universities.

The Left is systematically organized, aggressive, and efficient, doing precisely what they want to achieve their goals. In the meantime, you pathetic little cowards can't even do so much as take your Face Diapers off.

Civil War? War requires both sides to fight, and you gutless wonders couldn't fight a Chihuahua. One example of your impotent cowardice suffices in the "Lockdown" - mass incarceration without charge, a War Crime under International Law- which you have bowed down to every time without so much as raised voice, let alone raised fists.

Tucker Carlson will get doxed, absolutely nothing will happen to the people who dox him, and all of you will continue to be the supreme, stupendous, Cowards of Human History. And the Left knows this to be true.

I have to say, if they were in fear enough that he was going to his car to retrieve a weapon and had their guns drawn on him, they should have taken him down physically long before then. There were three of them, albeit one was a woman who didn't seem to involve herself in the final confrontation. It should never have been allowed to get to that point, that's crazy. They let him go all the way into his car to retrieve what they assumed was a weapon. Or maybe they wanted him to give them cause? Maybe they weren't confident about a physical take-down because they thought other people might intervene.

Maybe the old rules about height restrictions for police were a good idea. Those officers weren't confident about restraining the suspect, even with two of them and the guy assumed they weren't prepared to use their weapons. But then, after all this, I don't think they'll ever be able to be so picky with police again.

I have already identified myself as “black” on the 2020 Census. And I was able to log into my employer’s HR page and change my race to “black” as well. I now have that sweet, impenetrable cocoa armor.

I’m now eligible for every sort of gibsmedat from the government. And I’m last to be laid off in the event of a “reduction in force” layoff at work. AND I’m more likely to get the Coronavirus vaccine first!

  • The British are already giving the Pfizer vaccine to oldsters, starting yesterday morning. From the Daily Mail, here is the UK's vaccination priority plan: This seems more fine-tuned than the lumpier US plan, which puts a high priority on a huge category called "essential workers," in part to prioritize blacks and Latinos. You can multiply...
  • Actually, we *should* prioritize blacks first. They’re the ones I see – almost everywhere – using face masks as “Chin Diapers”. Those that I see with masks over their mouths almost always have their noses out. And rather than leaving their kids at home while they shop to reduce exposure, they always seem to have several in tow.

Couple this with the fact that whites are terrified to say anything to them for this reckless behavior (for fear of being labeled “racist”), and you can see how it might be better for everyone if we gave the shot to blacks/BIPOCS first. As an added bonus, it’ll give the rest of us time to see if there are any dangerous side effects with little risk to ourselves.

The popular narrative these days is that those evil “Karens” are refusing to wear masks, but this has not been my experience.

I'm leaning toward Mohammed Atta Elementary School and Tokyo Rose High School, but I could see Kim Il-sung and Sirhan Sirhan. • Think about this – We now live in a time where you can be *fired* from your job simply for wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Christopher Columbus on it.

The goalposts are shifting even further now, far beyond Columbus. Fairly recently, I joked about Thomas Jefferson being cancelled. I was only half serious, but now that time has come to pass.

I’m having some t-shirts made. If we can’t have statues, we can at least wear reminders of our heritage.

  • From Ross Douthat's column today in the New York Times: Then there’s the now-pressing question of who actually gets the vaccine first, which has been taken up at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in a way that throws the limits of science-trusting into even sharper relief. Last month their Advisory Committee on Immunization...
  • Just go by geographical region. Population centers first. Why is this even being debated? Just do it.

  • Meh. So what? So she’s not a real, indiginoidical BIPOC.

I’m black on the 2020 census and on my employer’s EOO. And I’ll continue to insist that it’s true with a straight face. Why shouldn’t I?

  • Don’t forget the two black guys who did the “DC Sniper” thing back in 2001…. John Lee Malvo was the one guy’s name, I think.

Every guest “profiler” on every news station was wrong – they were all fixated on looking for a white guy in a white van.

One of their murders was in or around a Home Depot parking lot. I remember hearing them say they were looking for a white van and thinking, “Every third vehicle in a Home Depot lot is a white van.” Our nation’s finest.

    Correction:

"Angry old white guy in a white van."

I know. Used to hear about it on the jobsite all the time.

(OK, old pissed off) white guy with white (cargo) van.

The white van thing was the work of Charles Moose, the idiot chief of police in Montgomery County Maryland who somehow became the official voice of the hunt for the DC snipers who was wrong about almost everything.

Please note that "equity" is the term now used to dog-whistle to the woke that you intend "equality of outcome" rather than "equality of opportunity." Politicians who demand "equity" are...
  • I agree that we should have racial equity. That’s why I identified myself as Black (with a capital B) in the 2020 Census, and also on my company’s HR EEOC forms.

    Gibsmedat!

  • Here's a popular poster explaining why "equity" is better than equality: As this poster explains, we need "equity" rather than equal treatment of the laws because some groups are more immature than others. With "equity," the little freeloader will get hit in the face by a home run and lose an eye.

  • It’s hard to disentangle the damage done by BLM from the damage done by COVID-19 (unless you read iSteve!). The latter will get most of the blame, of course.

White women with purple hair and “problem” glasses (easily 50% of BLM) will always live in urban hipster Green Zones, so there’s probably not gonna be much impact on housing prices in those areas.

  • The woke don’t want to do the actual work of climbing. They just want to waltz in and seize control of the functional institutions put in place by centuries hard work. None of these parasites have lifted a finger to contribute anything of value. They can only extract from the commons for their own gain.

Consider Haiti (Haiti is what happens when you kill all of the haters) – they’ve had since the early 19th century to make something nice for themselves. How has that worked out?

But so true. China should have to be scrapping and clawing its way to the top. Instead, with minoritarianism, we're committing suicide and they are just sitting back being handed leadership of the world on a silver plater.

There are simply no words to describe the cancerous stupidity of minoritarianism and the scale of its destruction.
