Islam waged continual war against the West for a 1000 years and only stopped when they could no longer compete with Western scientific and military advances by the late 17th Century. Still they preyed on Westerners via piracy for two more centuries in the Mediterranean taking some several million Europeans as slaves over the course of 700 years.

Theologically Islam is the only religion that has injunctions in it's central text (the Koran)for it's adherents to wage war against unbelievers or at the minimum support those that do until they are either conquered, converted or killed. Even the greatest of their legal minds like El Ghazzali say as much well and promote jihad against unbelievers.

Your idea definitely makes sense, and most of our presidents have been pro-Israel at least to some extent.

But what I don't understand is this. The Arabs have no strong allies. Russia and China don't care deeply about them. They are only military states because we sell them arms and show them how to use them. Without us they are vast stretches of sand with some oil wells, and prayers 5 times a day.

If we want Israel to have more land, why don't we (the USA, top military power in the world) just go in there and get the land and give it to them? The guys with cloths on their heads, wonderful as they are, can't and won't stop us. If we want Israel have a wall or other permanent fortification, our guys and their guys can certainly build it.

Rather than putting up with this endless skirmishing, why not just correct the situation to Israel's benefit (for example the Gaza beachfront is far too valuable for those Palestinians and they have been shooting rockets out of it) and be done with it. We're on the UN Security Council so we can stop any significant backlash from there.

You have simply no idea of the capability of the United State’s military. B52s are not required. What separates us from any military power is our ability to see ourselves and our enemy simultaneously. To stop enabling overpopulation here at home, stop mass immigration, whether “legal” or illegal, from any source. Discontinue the endless chain migration, euphemistically called “family reunification.” End birthright citizenship, which is a magnet for legal and illegal immigration. Require a much longer period of legal permanent residency before people become eligible to apply for citizenship, say twenty-five years.

To stop enabling overpopulation abroad, end “charitable” donations of food, medicine, vaccines, and expertise to environment-destroying breeding pits such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and the like. Presumably religious belief and just plain lack of intelligence and foresight will still induce many desperately poor people to bring large numbers of children into their already overcrowded, filthy locales. But that’s on them. If we don’t help to vaccinate and feed the teeming masses over there — and don’t let them come here — they will learn the lesson or starve.

What we have been doing out of altruism might make us feel good, but it has not been in the long-term interest of the “beneficiaries.” We have merely ensured that there will be many more people in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Africa suffering malnutrition ... and ultimately dying terrible deaths from starvation (or killing each other over scarce food and water).

I hesitate to categorize any of the contradictory stances pushed by either party as "liberal" or "conservative," and certainly not "left" or "right." The divide seems to be more how bellicose and financially ruinous a foreign policy you choose to pursue and whether you want to start shooting at Russian or Chinese targets first. There's also a matter of which particular wealthy oligarchs you take your monetary contributions from and which of their monetary/financial interests you choose to support over the needs of the oppressed middle class.

It seems more important for both major parties to cater to every need and want of murderous apartheid Israel than to fund programs or repair infrastructure critical to the needs of its own citizens. First they must demonize us to justify taking from us as much as they possibly can. It still won't be enough. The only way to survive in what is now a global competition wherein all you have to offer is your labor or skills acquired through education is to up your game: to work harder, longer, smarter... for ever less money and benefits (you are now competing with Bangla Deshi wages, remember). White people, unlike some others (Oriental and East Indian Americans, having some smarts and a work ethic, are equally enlightened), are at least vaguely aware of this, which is why their kids are incurring college loan debts the size of home mortgages before they even start their first real job. Islam and judaism are much more alike than different.

It can be safely argued that Islam is an offshoot of judaism and was created to "judaize" the non-jewish Arabs of the time, to which the jews were successful beyond their wildest dreams. Jews and Islamists are actually "two sides of the same coin"...with very few major differences.

There are virtually identical passages in both the jewish Talmud and Islamic Qu'ran. The passages that denote supremacy of each respective "cult" relegate "non-believers" to third-class status, in the jews' case no better than "livestock"--animals with souls, to be used for the benefit of the jews. In the Islamic case, non-believers must pay special taxes in order to be allowed to live in Islamic society and are not permitted to testify against a believer.

Both texts proscribe little or no punishment for acts committed by believers against non-believers and exact more severe punishments for those non-believers who transgress against believers.

You can bet that if Israel ever loses its zionist component, jews and Arabs will get along just fine and come after us infidels and goyim as a united group.

One area where there are massive differences between jews and muslims is the treatment accorded Jesus Christ and his mother Mary.

Sure. But I think the key difference is that America probably doesn’t have large numbers of intelligence operatives in Wuhan, so releasing the virus there might have been much more difficult without the convenient cover of those 300 visiting American military servicemen.

On the other hand, all the successful assassinations of important Iranian scientists and nuclear sabotage operations over the last few years suggests that we (or the Israelis) already have a large and capable network of agents there, who could be used for that purpose.

I still don’t get the bio-weapon thing. Covid-19 has a negligible infection fatality rate of approximately 0.2%. Why would any country with an advanced military–the US, China or anyone else–go to the trouble of re-inventing the flu? It just doesn’t make any sense.
