So, it appears the War on Populism is building toward an exciting climax. All the proper pieces are in place for a Class-A GloboCap color revolution, and maybe even civil war. You got your unauthorized Putin-Nazi president, your imaginary apocalyptic pandemic, your violent identitarian civil unrest, your heavily-armed politically-polarized populace, your ominous rumblings from military quarters … you couldn’t really ask for much more.

OK, the plot is pretty obvious by now (as it is in all big-budget action spectacles, which is essentially what color revolutions are), but that won’t spoil our viewing experience. The fun isn’t in guessing what is going to happen. Everybody knows what’s going to happen. The fun is in watching Bruce, or Sigourney, or “the moderate rebels,” or the GloboCap “Resistance,” take down the monster, or the terrorists, or Hitler, and save the world, or democracy, or whatever.

The show-runners at GloboCap understand this, and they are sticking to the classic Act III formula (i.e., the one they teach in all those scriptwriting seminars, which, full disclosure, I teach a few of those). They’ve been running the War on Populism by the numbers since the very beginning. I’m going to break that down in just a moment, act by act, plot point by plot point, but, first, let’s quickly cover the basics.

The first thing every big Hollywood action picture (or GloboCap color revolution) needs is a solid logline to build the plot around. The logline shows us: (1) our protagonist, (2) what our protagonist is trying to do, and (3) our antagonist or antagonistic force.

For example, here’s one everyone will recognize:

“A computer hacker learns from mysterious rebels about the true nature of his reality and his role in the war against its controllers.”

In our case, the logline writes itself:

“After America is taken over by a Russian-backed Hitlerian dictator, the forces of democracy unite to depose the tyrant and save the free world.”

Donald Trump is our antagonist, of course. And what an antagonist he has been! As the deep-state spooks and the corporate media have been relentlessly repeating for the last four years, the man is both a Russian-backed traitor and literally the resurrection of Hitler! In terms of baddies, it doesn’t get any better.

It goes without saying that our protagonist is GloboCap (i.e., the global capitalist empire), or “democracy,” as it is known in the entertainment business.

Now, we’re in the middle of Act III already, and, as in every big-budget action movie, our protagonist suffered a series of mounting losses all throughout Act II, and the baddie was mostly driving the action. Now it’s time for the Final Push, but, before all the action gets underway, here’s a quick recap of those previous acts. Ready? All right, here we go …

Act I

(status quo/inciting incident)

There democracy (i.e., GloboCap) was, peacefully operating its de facto global capitalist empire like a normal global hegemon (i.e., destabilizing, restructuring, and privatizing everything it hadn’t already destabilized and privatized, and OK, occasionally murdering, torturing, and otherwise mercilessly oppressing people), when out of nowhere it was viciously attacked by Donald Trump and his Putin-Nazi “populists,” who stole the 2016 election from Clinton with those insidious Facebook ads. (For you writers, this was the Inciting Incident.)

(new situation/predicament/lock-in)

GloboCap did not take this well. The deep state and the corporate media started shrieking about a coming “Age of Darkness,” “The death of globalization at the hands of white supremacy,” “racial Orwellianism,” “Zionist anti-Semitism,” the “Bottomless Pit of Fascism,” and so on. Liberals festooned themselves with safety pins and went out looking for minorities to hide in their attics throughout the occupation. According to GloboCap, every “populist” that voted for Trump (or just refused to vote for Clinton) was a genocidal white supremacist undeserving of either empathy or mercy. Somewhere in there, the “Resistance” was born. (This is the plot point known as the Lock-In, where the protagonist commits to the struggle ahead.)

Act II (a)

(progress/obstacles)

As is traditional at the opening of Act II, things were looking promising for GloboCap. The “Resistance” staged those pink pussyhat protests, and the corporate media were pumping out Russia and Hitler propaganda like a Goebbelsian piano. Yes, there were obstacles, but the “Resistance” was growing. And then, in May of 2017, special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed, and “Russiagate” was officially launched. It appeared that Donald Trump’s days were numbered!

(rising action/first culmination)

But, no, it was never going to be that easy. (If it was, feature films would be less than an hour long, not to mention incredibly boring.) There was plenty of action (and an endless series of “bombshells”) throughout the ensuing two years, but by the end of March 2019, “Russiagate” had blown up in GloboCap’s face. “Populism” was still on the rise! It was time for GloboCap to get serious. (This was the classic first culmination, sometimes known as The Point of No Return.)

Act II (b)

(complications/subplots/higher stakes)

In the aftermath of the “Russiagate” fiasco, the GloboCap “Resistance” flailed around for a while. An assortment of ridiculous subplots unfolded … Obstructiongate, Ukrainegate, Pornstargate (and I’m probably forgetting some “gates”), white-supremacist non-terrorist terrorism, brain-devouring Russian-Cubano crickets, Russian spy whales, and other such nonsense. Meanwhile, the forces of “populism” were running amok all across the planet. The gilets jaunes were on the verge of taking down Macron in France, and gangs of neo-nationalist boneheads had launched a series of frontal assaults on Portlandia, GloboCap Anti-Fascist HQ, which Antifa was barely holding off.

(second culmination/major setback)

All wasn’t totally lost, however. GloboCap sprang back into action, successfully Hitlerizing Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of leftist “populism,” and thus preventing the mass exodus of Jews from Great Britain. And the US elections were on the horizon. Trump was still Russian-agent Hitler, after all, so he wasn’t going to be too hard to beat. All that GloboCap had to do was put forth a viable Democratic candidate, then let the corporate media do their thing. OK, first, they had to do Bernie Sanders (because he was another “populist” figurehead, and the point of the entire War on Populism has been to crush the “populist” resistance to global capitalism from both the Left and the Right), but the DNC made short work of that.

So, everything was looking hunky-dory until — and you screenwriters saw this coming, didn’t you? — the pivotal plot-point at the end of Act II, The Major Setback, or The Dark Night of the Soul, when all seems lost for our protagonist.

Yes, implausible as it probably still seems, the Democratic Party nominated Joe Biden, a clearly cognitively-compromised person who literally sucked his wife’s fingers on camera and who can’t get through a two-minute speech without totally losing his train of thought and babbling non-sequiturial gibberish. Exactly why they did this will be debated forever, but, obviously, Biden was not GloboCap’s first choice. The man is as inspiring as a head of lettuce. (There is an actual campaign group called “Settle for Biden!”) GloboCap was now staring down the barrel of certain swing-voter death. And as if things weren’t already dire enough, the “populists” rolled out a catchy new slogan … “TRUMP 2020, BECAUSE FUCK YOU AGAIN!”

Act III

So, all right, this is part where Neo orders up “guns … lots of guns.” Which is exactly what our friends at GloboCap did. The time for playing grab-ass was over. Faced with four more years of Trump and this “populist” rebellion against global capitalism and its increasingly insufferable woke ideology, the entire global capitalist machine went full-totalitarian all at once. Suddenly, a rather undeadly virus (as far as deadly pestilences go) became the excuse for GloboCap to lock down most of humanity for months, destroy the economy, unleash the goon squads, terrorize everyone with hysterical propaganda, and otherwise remake society into a global totalitarian police state.

And that wasn’t all … no, far from it. GloboCap was just getting started. Having terrorized the masses into a state of anus-puckering paranoia over an imaginary apocalyptic plague and forced everyone to perform a variety of humiliating ideological-compliance rituals, they unleashed the identitarian civil unrest. Because what would a color revolution be without rioting, looting, wanton destruction, clouds of tear gas, robocops, and GloboCap-sponsored “moderate rebels” and “pro-regime forces” shooting each other down in the streets on television? (In an homage to Orwell’s Ministry of Truth, the corporate media, with totally straight faces, have been describing this rioting as “mostly peaceful.”)

• • •

That brings us up to speed, I think. The rest of Act III should be pretty exciting, despite the fact that the outcome is certain. One way or another, Trump is history. Or do you seriously believe that GloboCap is going to allow him to serve another four years? Not that Trump is an actual threat to them. As I have said repeatedly over the past four years, Donald Trump is not a populist. Donald Trump is a narcissistic ass clown who is playing president to feed his ego. He is not a threat to global capitalism, but the people who elected him president are. In order to teach these people a lesson, GloboCap needs to make an example of Trump. Odds are, it’s not going to be pretty.

See, they have him between a rock and a hard place. As CNN’s Fareed Zakaria explains, on election night, Trump will appear to have won (because the Democrats will all be mailing in their votes due to the apocalyptic plague), but later, once the mail-in votes are all counted, which may take weeks or even months, it will turn out that Biden really won. But, by then, it won’t matter who really won, because one of two scenarios will have already played out.

In Scenario Number One, Trump declares victory before the mail-in votes have been tallied and is “removed from office” for “attempting a coup.” In Scenario Number Two, he doesn’t declare victory, and the country enters a state of limbo, which the Democrats will prolong as long as possible. Either way, rioting breaks out. Serious rioting … not “peaceful” rioting. Rioting that makes the “BLM protests” we have witnessed so far look like a game of touch football.

And this is where the US military (or the military-industrial complex) comes in. I’ll leave you with just a few of the many ominous headlines that GloboCap has been generating:

“This Election Has Become Dangerous for the U.S. Military” — Foreign Policy

“Al Gore suggests military will remove Trump from office if he won’t concede on election night” — Fox News

“Former ambassador warns of election violence” — The Guardian

“All Enemies, Foreign and Domestic”: An Open Letter to Gen. Milley (“If the commander in chief attempts to ignore the election’s results, you will face a choice.)” — Defense One

“Is Trump Planning a Coup d’État?” — The Nation

“Trump could refuse to concede” — Washington Post

“What happens if Trump loses but refuses to concede?” — Financial Times

“White Supremacists, Domestic Terrorists Pose Biggest Threat Of ‘Lethal Violence’ This Election, DHS Assessment Finds” — Forbes

“Trump’s Attacks Put Military In Presidential Campaign Minefield”NPR

“Trump’s Election Delay Threat Is a Coup in the Making” — Common Dreams

“What If Trump Won’t Leave?” — The Intercept

“How to Plan a Coup” — Bill Moyers on Democracy

“It can happen here: A Trump election coup?” — Wall Street International Magazine

“Whose America Is It?” — The New York Times

Does it sound like GloboCap is bluffing? Because it doesn’t sound like that to me. I could be totally wrong, of course, and just letting my imagination run away with itself, but if I were back home in the USA, instead of here in Berlin, I wouldn’t bet on it.

In any event, whatever is coming, whether this is the end of the War on Populism or just the beginning of a new, more dramatic phase of it, the next two months are going to be exciting. So, go grab your popcorn, or your AR-15, and your mask, or full-body anti-virus bubble suit (which you might want to have retrofitted with Kevlar), and sit back and enjoy the show!

  4. Trump will persist through the election. The puppet masters of the radical Left have invested 4 years and billions (perhaps trillions) or dollars in painting him as a racist tyrant and their return has been the ability to subvert and riot openly without consequences for even their low-level foot soldiers. If they replace him they throw away all of that investment and have to reboot with new justifications for destroying the West to a Third World state. The on-going Supreme Court situation is proof of this strategy. It may be the lever they need to escalate to actual genocides. Trump is the rope the satanic Left is using to pull themselves out of the maw of Hell and he is the rope with which they will try to hang us all.

  5. Trump isn’t actually a populist president, though — he just plays one on TV. That is what’s most amusing about globocap’s meltdown, he’s only accelerated the political and social destruction of white America.

America Firsters are writing a better script, one that casts the international Zionists such as Soros as the evil they are, and all of the “liberal” GlobalCap “heroes” as cads and knaves that pander to the Zionists and their endless wars for Israel out of greed, sloth, low character, hidden racism, and misanthropy.

The “liberals” and neocons are increasingly uptight because middle America and much of the rest of the world recognizes the America First script as authentic, and the “liberal” script as the hackneyed CIA and ((Hollywood)) bullshit it is.

Worse yet, the principled left (there still is such a thing) increasingly recognize “liberals” as self-serving liars, ponzi schemers, and con artists who, out of mania and hubris, actually started believing their own grift.

  9. Whatever happens during and after election, fact is that Sovereign, Corporate and personal debt of Globocap countries will raise to unsustainable levels, destroying the dollar and financial markets with resultant prolonged recession, creating post colonial multipolar world (Assuming we are not wiped out in a nuclear war between U.S., Russia and China before this happens)

  10. That is really insane and serious gambling by GloboCap. They may as well admit defeat. Everyone knows that they are guilty. They have backed themselves into a corner with a 50/50 survival rate gamble as their final move. Do they think that the military would like to share with them or forgive them, or blame them and place them in stockades in the public square? What would the military gain by a globocap alliance? What would the military lose by such an alliance? My guess is that the military would be likely to turn against them.

I feel as though people were (and are) lost in fear brain’s nervous system freeze response but when a threat is not gone, it turns to anger( fight response ).

I’m not mocking the script, but I’d like to see the key players’ machinations dramatized in scene.

I agree, this morality tale is just getting started and may turn out to be a family saga suitable for an old-style BBC/PBS Masterpiece Theatre series.

Just picture the plot line as the patriarch Donald is succeeded in the White House by Don Junior, then the lovely Ivanka, then Eric — and eventually the rakish Barron, who vast legions of Deplorables will proclaim President-for-Life. Melania will be there through all of it, a serene and regal presence in the background, helping to guide the successive monarchs.

Sometime before the end of season 2, though, we are going to see Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer hanging from lampposts in Fort Marcy Park. Adam Schiff and Jerrold Nadler will have fled the country disguised as dowagers and will be sharing a lovely 1-bedroom condo in Hebron.

You’re right. But here’s the real problem: who owns the studio? Because that is what determines which script gets made.

    * Military: many argue the armed forces are “on the right”, but anyone paying attention knows that from around Cpt. on up, it’s 100% globohomo. INSTITUTIONALLY, that’s what they are. And “Law Enforcement”? If you’re on the right, you know that they are literally your biggest ENEMY. Cops sure aren’t emerging as stawart allies of (say) wignat antisemites.

Now, how many civil wars or revolutions can you name that were remotely viable that involved one side with NO INSTITUTIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE TO DRAW UPON?

This is why some of us see the future not as “hur durr gunna finally KICK SOME LIBTARD BUTT!1!” but more as Holdomor 2.0. And ironically, in that story the most important plot point is: getting the “right” to not just welcome, but BEG for, an overarching national “police presence”.

The MSM has lost all credibility because their propaganda is so obviously smoke and mirrors. That is why they now make the calls for action. Insurrection and civil war?! Really?! Don’t they realize how repugnant and dishonorable they have made themselves for even suggesting such sedition? Don’t they realize that the military will not break the chain of command, and that the police (who they tried to discredit) militias, NRA members, ex-military and all other defenders of the Constitution are very well trained in the use of weapons and military tactics, and that, should it actually rumble, they will kick dat ass thoroughly. Is this what the GloboCaps really want? It would result in their own funeral. And it is not necessary. The next time, instead of using a screenwriter, they should follow the guidance of a chess Grand Master or the Head Coach of a professional sports team who is proficient with winning tactics that are real.

You are quite right that Trump is controlled opposition to globalism, but for that reason it does not matter if he wins or loses. Populism will still be kaput. Is this what the GloboCaps really want? It would result in their own funeral. And it is not necessary.

Nice sentiment. And you’re correct, a fight resulting in ‘their own’ funeral is not necessary. It’s YOUR funeral they’re interested in. And for that, all they have to do is stop delivering your groceries, gasoline, tap water and electricity. Inside of a week, you populists will all be feeding on each other.

Now THERE’S a plot for you. And surprisingly doable. They can just declare any particular region traitorous to The Nation and quarantine it. If they can blockade and sanction entire nations, they can handle a 1000 square mile within the U.S. easy. Just flip a few switches.

I was searching for a place to begin. This will do?

Author C J Kopkins advances a thesis that there is a “War on Populism.” A populism that does not exist. And the 1st response, right on cue, asks “What if Trump wins, but refuses to concede?”

This article, and most of the sadly brainwashed commenters avoid the FACTS that are right in front of their faces, the brutal truth since the beginnings of the great addition to National & International Brainwashing, Motion Pictures.

This so-called ‘election’ is a Hollywood Production. In this Epic, the brainwashed & deluded American People, and too many of the Commenters, are unpaid participants, Actors, Fill Ins. After all, Slavery was abolished after the Civil War (or was it?).

    The Stars Are:

    2. Stuttering Ukraine Biden, (had his son appointed to the Board of Directors of the largest Ukraine Energy Corporation), https://www.rt.com/business/158660-biden-son-ukraine-company/ He is the ‘Challenger.’

    3. Supporting actors: listed in no particular order – Pelosi, Shumer, Warren, Sanders, Romney (waits on-call to trot out & read from the script), The 4′ VP, the Black Congressional Caucus – after they expelled Cynthia Mckinney, The unwashed masses who wear Masks, walk – following painted arrows, spread their cheeks, get on their knees and open their mouths, and pump for the candidates – as if this election is – a real lawful Constitutional Exercise of our rights in a Sovereign Republic. Must I also list the commenters, and the owners of several so-called ‘Alternate Media Websites?

The MSM has lost all credibility because their propaganda is so obviously smoke and mirrors

Welllllllll maybe. Since plagiarism has been enobled by Saint Martie of the Kingdom, I submit for your consideration, altered only slightly, something relevant found on another site. Specifically Moon of Alabama. Forthwith, here tis.

This tactic is called “plausible deniability”. It’s the cornerstone the CIA operations.

The principle of plausible deniability states that, even if an operation is completely uncovered (even if the damn CIA agent comes to the public and confess), it can still be credibly denied. Plausible deniability is so important to the CIA that no project or operation begins without one counter narrative that will make up the plausible denial being ready beforehand.

In the American MSM, plausible deniability is an essential instrument to maintaining credibility. Contrary to what many people commonly think, credibility is a tangible resource that can be spent and replenished.

A competent propaganda outlet will know when to tell a lie and when to tell a truth; when to do propaganda and when to do serious journalism; and how to mix the two in order to create a new fantasy world in which the desired public opinion can be shaped.

This, in a way, explains not only the current political climate, but also the way the gambling industry operates. If everything is fixed, as in “rasslin”, nobody would ever bet on the outcome. But if the industry operators fix only those games where the outcome generates massive betting, they can clean up. Another similarity is the operators of the stock market, another gambling enterprise. Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen, place your bets.

Booker has shady ties to various industries, a scandal and a poor history as mayor.

Bernie was probably their best candidate but the MSM was worried he would be boxed in with the socialist label. They also didn’t like his plans to tax the wealthy.

Biden basically won by being the last man standing. The establishment doesn’t really like him but he sort of won by default.

If Biden is jettisoned by the Dems before the election, what is the fate of all the Biden mail-in votes that will have been sent in by that time?

Too late for that and Biden’s ego wouldn’t allow it.

The establishment knows they have a loser of a candidate.

Their only chance is to pile on Trump and try to inch Biden over the finish line.

Yeah, it’s totally not weird that many of the most powerful people on earth are child sacrificing satanists. It’s completely natural that the people who rule the world get together in the woods to frolic around naked and sacrifice Dull Care before a graven image of their god moloch. It’s an absolute mystery why these people love and promote war, pedophilia, abortion and destruction. Surely they’re not evil.

I wouldn’t want to be called a conspiracy theorist or other names.
I will pretend this is all normal.

I will dutifully wear my face diaper to save lives while I obey my earthly masters. [/sarc]

Tulsi Gabbard was probably the only DNC candidate with any hope of beating Trump. Her desire to end foreign wars gave her rhetoric matching Trump’s. Of course, the NeoConDemocrats made spiking her run their #1 priority.

The DNC is the War Party, for the benefit of the Military Industrial Complex. Look at their track record under Secretary of State, Killary Clinton.

  97. My hope is that enough people see through this drama for what it is and #walkaway, not necessarily to Trump or Republicans but at least away from the toxic waste that has captured the Democratic Party. If the Democratic Party goes the way of Whigs, there will be space created for a real alternative. Let us hope that alternative has bylaws that prevent its capture by billionaires and insure it remains the voice of real biological people rather than government chartered “persons.”

“NeoCon Democrats” — not, by and large, a thing, with a handful of exceptions like Jeanne Kirkpatrick. The Neocons are nominally Republicans, and in their heart of hearts Israelis. An alleged conversation: GW Bush — “Daddy, what’s a neocon?” GHW Bush — “Think Israel.”

Human rights interventionist Democrats — now that’s a thing, and equally as bloodthirsty as the Neocons.

Agreed but I was talking about their final group.

It really shows how terrible the DNC is at picking candidates.

Gabbard was polling well with independents early on but the DNC had pretty much crowned Warren as the female candidate.

Biden also would have been better off picking Gabbard for VP. But he is too impressionable and bowed to media demands for a Person of 1% Color.

LOL. Biden is clearly enfeebled, both mentally and physically. His ego is not driving anything.

At this point, he is probably happiest playing with a new can of Silly String down in his basement.

“NeoCon Democrats” — not, by and large, a thing,

The DNC has always been the War Party. The presence of NeoCons in the GOP is a Bush Sr. & Jr. anomaly. NeoConDemocrats are more than a “thing”, it is the historical status quo.

Trump booted the NeoCons back to their home, the Democrat party. For example:
    — Bill Kristol is solidly in the #NeverTrump camp.
    — John Bolton petulantly quit because he was being ignored.

There are still a few left in the GOP. Mostly those who realize that Biden is 100% sure to lose. They figure that they can get some traction behind the scenes… A little power is better than no power.

Anybody who thinks the upcoming election is going to result in an easy victory for Trump is deluding themselves.

There is an old saying in automobile racing that “the the only thing better for winning races than cubic inches (engine displacement) is “cubic money” become with sufficient money you can buy the best expertise that will simply overcome any advantages a rival might have. .

On Monday, there were numerous fund raising events put on nationwide by the Democrats that reportedly raised freight cars full of large financial contributions from not only the usual contributors and corporations, but from a significant number of previously Republican voters who had been told that such contributions might be good good insurance if they would like to be able to continue working in places like Hollywood or Silicon Valley or Wall Street and as a result, be able to continue paying off their mortgages rather having to struggle for a job in an economy that is now increasing bereft of well paying employment.

This means that the Democrats financial coffers are now absolutely bursting at the seams with funds which are now available for such things as an even more massive advertising campaign along with something that might prove far more detrimental for the Trump campaign: addition money to be used for very ominous ballot manipulation efforts in black and Hispanic ghettos. This will be done by using thousands of now highly motivated ($$$) “get out the vote” professionals. These ghetto dwellers will be promised all sorts of “goodies” if Biden is elected. The additional service offered by these “vote getters”will include helping to translate and then fill out newly acquired ballots plus handing out actual cash payments for those voter who have to be motivated a bit more.

And let me tell you something, there are A LOT of these ghetto residents up for grabs. .

On the other hand, there are now reliable reports that Trump is simply running out of money. I have heard this from several knowledgeable sources. Trump supporters might be enthusiastic but, so far, they also have also proven to be remarkably cheap or simply too impoverished.

This lack of funding will be particularly troubling for the Trump campaign when he loses his access to his very effective, free social media accounts in the upcoming weeks. Both Facebook and Twitter have already mentioned their plans to deliberately eliminate or censor his accounts in the weeks just before the election. Unless he can figure a way around this, he might simply be effectively “disappeared” in the weeks before the election because the MSM (not including Fox News) will also cut off much of his free or even paid coverage. Has this happened before? Think back to what happened to the then much more popular Bernie Sanders when a similar blacklisting by the MSM happened to him towards the end of his primary campaign against Hillary. His campaign just seemed to simply run out of gas.

Money rules in politics. Even Trump is now starting to recognize this fact.
Trump donations? Pay now or pay much more later with your civil rights. .

There were something like twenty announced candidates for the Democratic nomination, including several governors and senators. Given the success in past cycles by the media in selling mediocrities no one had head of before and selling them as the next best thing to the Democratic electorate, they could have easily done so this time with the likes of Bennett, Inslee, and Klochuchar, the latter of whom did survive into the final rounds, though only Biden and Sanders won any states.

Even anointing a politician with serious, and obvious, flaws isn’t a problem. They did it before with Bill Clinton and nearly did it with Jon Edwards. Democratic voters pretty reliably do what they are told.

The selection of Biden and not a good neoliberal hack like Inslee is a clue. And I think the clue indicates having the voters weigh in on who will be president this year was never part of the script.

Recalling the ink that Harris got at the first from NYT – and who could be more authoritative – I suspect that she was the Party choice. The inconvenience that she could win no votes was not a problem. It seems a nice finesse instead to simply install President Harris and confirm her by balloons and parade.
