If the neoliberal ruling classes expect to keep the American masses worked up into a white-eyed hysteria over “fascism” until November 2020, they’re going to need to get some better Nazis. The current Nazis are just not going to cut it. They are neither scary nor Nazi enough. OK, the militia ones look kind of scary, and that “Based Spartan” guy looks kind of … uh, weird, but most of them just look like regular old rednecks. How hard would it be to get them some brown shirts, or those khaki pants like they wore in Charlottesville, or some other type of Nazi-like uniform?

Seriously, the Resistance need to get their official narrative optics in order, and they need to do it without delay. Millions of liberals are standing by to be brainwashed into a year-long frenzy of manufactured mass “fascism” hysteria, but they are going to need some halfway convincing Nazis to spastically freak out over. A few hundred bozos in MAGA hats parading around with American flags does not exactly a Sturmabteilung make.
I’m referring, of course, to the latest “fascist invasion” of Portland that took place last Saturday, which, according to the corporate media, and Antifa, and local fascism experts, was supposed to be a veritable bloodbath. Heavily-armed white supremacist terrorists were flying in from around the country to indiscriminately murder as many “Black, Asian, Latino, indigenous, immigrant, Pacific islander, disabled, houseless, and LGBTQ persons” as possible. This white supremacist terrorist kill-fest was going to be revenge for the preventively self-defensive beating of Andy Ngo, “the most dangerous fascist grifter in America,” by Antifa militants earlier this month.
Ngo (who most people had never heard of until Antifa militants beat him senseless), although he poses as a legitimate journalist by writing for outlets like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, Quillette, and so on, is allegedly a fascist intelligence asset in charge of compiling fascist “kill lists” consisting of the names of assorted well-known Portland anti-fascist figures (who most people had also never heard of until they claimed that Ngo had put them on his “kill list”).
Alexander Reid Ross, for example, an extremely influential “fascism expert,” outreach specialist, and geography teacher, who is hot on the trail of the Putin-Nazi plot to form a syncretic alliance of Assad-loving, Duginist, LaRouchian Nazis led by Max Blumenthal and Vanessa Beeley, or possibly Glenn Greenwald and Tucker Carlson … or something more or less along those lines (see Ross’ seminal paranoid ravings, which the SPLC was forced to retract by Blumenthal’s fascist legal counsel.) Ross reportedly remains in hiding in a safehouse in an undisclosed location somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, presumably protected by the FBI, while he continues his important work.
And then there are the notorious Proud Boys, a gang of self-described “Western chauvinists” who apparently haven’t been laid in years. According to the SPLC (which has designated them an official “hate group”):
There are three degrees of membership within the Proud Boys, and to become a first degree in the “pro-West fraternal organization” a prospective member simply has to declare “I am a western chauvinist, and I refuse to apologize for creating the modern world.” To enter the second degree, a Proud Boy has to endure a beating until they can yell out the names of five breakfast cereals (in order to demonstrate “adrenaline control”) and give up masturbation because, in theory, it will leave them more inclined to go out and meet women. Those who enter the third degree have demonstrated their commitment by getting a Proud Boys tattoo. Any man — no matter his race or sexual-orientation — can join the fraternal organization as long as they “recognize that white men are not the problem.”
Such is the caliber of the cast the Resistance are featuring in their “fascism” fantasy. As you can see, it’s not exactly the A-list. If they’re going to stick with the “fascism” hysteria from now until November 2020 (which is really the only option they have left, what with “Russiagate” having blown up in their faces), the least they can do is get some real Nazis, and some semi-respectable Nazi hunters, and cut out this pathetic Portlandia nonsense.
The Resistance owes liberals at least that much, especially after making them look like fools by leading them on for three years with their ridiculous “Russiagate” hysteria. Sure, the “fascism” hysteria is an easier sell, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have to sell it. It’s not like they can just abruptly switch from the “Russiagate” narrative to the “fascism” narrative (as if their Russiagate hoax had not just been exposed) and expect liberals to go along with it like the members of some enormous cult.
Or, I don’t know … maybe they can. The New York Times certainly appears to think so. Check out this exchange between executive editor Dean Baquet and an anonymous staffer at an emergency in-house “town hall” meeting convened after The Times changed a page one headline because it didn’t paint Trump as racist enough. (The transcript is Slate’s; emphasis is mine.)
Staffer: I’m wondering what is the overall strategy here for getting us through this administration and the way we cover it … people don’t understand. I think they get confused as to what we’re trying to do.
Baquet: OK. I mean, let me go back a little bit for one second to just repeat what I said in my in my short preamble about coverage. Chapter 1 of the story of Donald Trump, not only for our newsroom but, frankly, for our readers, was: Did Donald Trump have untoward relationships with the Russians, and was there obstruction of justice? That was a really hard story, by the way, let’s not forget that. We set ourselves up to cover that story. I’m going to say it. We won two Pulitzer Prizes covering that story. And I think we covered that story better than anybody else.
The day Bob Mueller walked off that witness stand, two things happened. Our readers who want Donald Trump to go away suddenly thought, “Holy shit, Bob Mueller is not going to do it.” And Donald Trump got a little emboldened politically, I think. Because, you know, for obvious reasons. And I think that the story changed. A lot of the stuff we’re talking about started to emerge like six or seven weeks ago. We’re a little tiny bit flat-footed. I mean, that’s what happens when a story looks a certain way for two years. Right?
I think that we’ve got to change. I mean, the vision for coverage for the next two years is what I talked about earlier: How do we cover a guy who makes these kinds of [racist] remarks? How do we cover the world’s reaction to him? How do we do that while continuing to cover his policies? How do we cover America, that’s become so divided by Donald Trump? How do we grapple with all the stuff you all are talking about? How do we write about race in a thoughtful way, something we haven’t done in a large way in a long time? That, to me, is the vision for coverage. You all are going to have to help us shape that vision. But I think that’s what we’re going to have to do for the rest of the next two years.
For anyone not entirely fluent in Pulitzer-winning Professional Journalism Speak, that translates roughly as “OK, no more Russia stuff. We’re switching to the fascism and racism stuff, and we’ll be hammering on it until Trump is history.”
Which is fine with me. I don’t like Donald Trump. And Americans are certainly racists … uh, working class Americans, that is. Sorry, white working class Americans, not Black people, or the staff of The New York Times, or the neoliberal ruling classes. Unless they’re disabled, or houseless, or Latino, or indigenous, or LGBTQ (i.e., the white working class Americans, not the ruling classes). In which case, they get a pass on the racism. But the rest of us are all white supremacists, and homophobic anti-Semites, and xenophobic racist transphobes, and … well, basically, a bunch of Nazis.

People say the internet produced information reinforcement vortexes (or some other less obtuse term!), with individuals self selecting for the groups that fit their world view, but I don’t think this was ever not the case. If anything, the net throws all the information at you at once, and people just don’t have the willpower or even capacity to wade through the different frames of references, without attaching to some frame before enough data is in. And they certainly are not willing to change their minds on much once they are set in their beliefs.
We are heading for a clobbering match imo, and I am resigned to the opinion that such a forest fire may be the best way to progress the people to reasonableness. Strangely!

When the Proud Boys and Antifa are scheduled to meet, the police should be there to hand out fully loaded pistols to the combatants along with a warning that the first shot fired is likely to trigger others to fire indiscriminately and could lead to large loss of life. Further, as the groups head for a confrontation, those in the lead should consider that their fellow travelers behind them just need to fire a shot into the air for those in the front line on both sides to fall like flies to a hail of bullets.
For each pistol handed out, the police should get a signed waiver receipt acknowledging that the antagonists are about to embark on a dangerous mission.
With the preliminaries out of the way and everyone armed, the show could begin. Let’s see if they have the balls they pretend to have if the stakes are raised.

It will never be allowed by the establishment, because the USA today and since at least the end of WW II is a (global) empire, not a republic. And the first people colonized by an Empire are its own subjects.
One thing you can hope for is that the distance between the official, publicized narrative and the reality people encounter in their own lifes will become as drastic as in the late-stage Soviet Union. “Russiagate, Nazigate, Epstein Suicide” it all helps to realize the emperor has no clothes. And this realization is what actually immunizes against the seduction of state-totalitarianism and it is why, for example, Poland, Hungary and East-Germany, who lived through Communism, are somewhat immune to the new (soft) totalitarianism of neo-liberalism and globalism. I’m not a white nationalist and have zero tendencies toward that but I was a little shocked and disturbed by the story I read yesterday about the two “Proud Boys” members being convicted in NYC and facing a possible 15 years in prison for a street fight in the UES where the Antifa participants (whom the Proud Boys fought) refused to testify or cooperate with police. Things like this make me believe the social order is quickly unraveling.

The Russian October Revolution demonstrated that just ending the previous regime doesn’t necessarily get you anything good. You need something good in place already, as a shadow government of sorts, and it has to be prepared to fight off its evil competitors.
In the US, the most likely source of change appears to be a constitutional convention held after the cities have finally been denied tax revenue (by, for example, a failure more severe than that of 2008 of the large financial concerns that provide much of their funding). The political structure after that would be provided by surviving State governments (e.g. not those state governments run entirely by megacities). Think on this.

Or so-called counter-protests could be outlawed in the same space and on the same day as protests, being that counter-protests are an inherent attempt to silence free speech and are observably used to instigate violence in protests that would have otherwise been peaceful. The death at Charlottesville would not have occurred without the counter-protest.
The ability to counter-protest during a permitted protest works against the Rights of freedom of assembly, free speech, and whatever else constitutionally supports protest Rights. It fundamentally infringes on and endangers that gamut of Rights.
No one has the right to gather with intent to incite violence or suppress speech. If their intent is to counter-protest, there is no reason that can not be done on a differing date or in a different place. Allowing counter-protesting in the same space as a protest is an inherently oppressive and dangerous mechanism on a number of levels.

Several states in 1860s decided they could do as you suggest. the argument the Group I persons put up resulted in the Northern states ( the Union) destroying the Group II persons( the southern states) in a bloody war known as the civil war in America ( read below).
First off the President of the government that defeated the British and issued the Declaration of independence (1776) was not the USA government(founded in 1789).. It took from 1776 to 1778 to get the Articles of Confederation government organized with all of the states in agreement, but in that AOC governments the individual states were autonomous as you suggest, and they were all powerful in function and operation. John Hanson was the first of eight president's of the AOC. These presidents and the state support of it, defeated the British, not the USA presidents. the USA was formed as a result of the constitution and the constitution was a coup in that it ratification was defined in the document and then used to eliminate the AOC in favor of the USA . Hanson's title as President of the AOC, was President of the United States in Congress Assembled.
There were two groups of people in America on the not British Side.

You might say they were jealous. Laws were passed in England that taxed the corporations and businesses and farming produce, mainly the flow of income from Group 1 colonist to capitalist and bankers in England very differently. the same British laws that controlled the British Colonies in America, taxed the American owned colonial boats, and the American produced farm produce(unless it was put on an English vessel), and the pelts generated by trapping and hunting etc at much higher rates than the English owned British businesses were taxed. The colonist had to work twice as hard as the British to earn as much.. So it was obvious Group I persons would like to change that. Many had so much at stake in America they could not leave, and so little was left to do but support the war against England. But many group I persons did not fully commit to join the army instead they would make loans and finance the soldiers in group II.
Group II just wanted to be free of the British Tyrannical rule.. They wanted an American government, and they wanted fair trials with Juries made up of people who knew the local score ( not some jury or judge from England) who would do what the Group I persons told them to do. Group II wanted the right to protect themselves, and they wanted a local militia to protect themselves from both government and the tyranny of powerful corporations. Group II wanted to earn their daily living (to them own guns was essential) and the Group II people did not want a government that allowed its soldiers to bust into their homes and arrest the occupants, search the place, and confiscate all of their worldly belongings, nor did Group II persons want to be forced to house these strange armed members of the .British Armies in the homes of Group II persons.
So the Articles of Confederation existed, in partnership with the states, to find ways to make an army of the Group II persons. as the Group II persons were the hunters, dirt farmers, sailors, slaves and persons doing the manual labor and they knew how to fight in the woods they were wanted to make up most of the fighting man's army. But several British colonial Aristocrats would be needed to lead them.. (Because George Washington was rich enough to be well known, the AOC made Washington, Gen of the continental Army; the hope was that Washington's name would help to attract Group II persons willing to endure the fight.

It did not take long to rout the British, by 1778 there were mostly defeated .. and the Articles government then set about making good on the promises it had made to those who helped defeat the British. In other words George Washington, who owned half of W. What had group II been promised: 40 acres of their own, freedom from the Tyranny of corporate partnered government (even African Slaves were expecting to be freed since they too fought the British) and a pension for life to include their widow.
Now put yourself in the place of a group I person.. would you be willing to fund a revolutionary government that had successfully destroyed the hegemony of the British Empire; a government proven able to deprive the British wealth from doing business in America if such a government were going to take your estate and give it to those who helped defeat the British.? Probably not.
So what happened, the funding for the operation of the Articles of Confederation government had to come from the several states. and the states had to get the money to fund the AOC by taxing the estates and corporate profits of group I.. So Group I just quit paying the taxes, or they lobbied the state government, not to assess or collect them; either way the states could pay their share to the AOC. Eventually the ability of the Articles of Confederation (Americans only Democratic Government) to operate came to a halt. That halt was contrived, but it allowed the Group I persons to send proxy to Philadelphia and to generate there in 1787 a brand new government, a government that would not confiscate land granted estates, a government that would take the pesky, demanding Article II person out of the decision loops, a government that could operate without consulting the pesky members of group II, a government that would one again establish a British Tyranny in an Americanized form. So once again the Group I could use the government to obtained favouritism, Group could control the courts, force group II persons to finance and support the military and allow Group I to do business and banking as usual.
Group two were denied access to the new Republic established by Group I in 1789.. The Group II persons could not vote for the President or the VP, or members of the Senate, they could by vote, establish what mirrored the house of commons in England; but like the house of commons, the House of Representatives is big but has very limited power.

The modern day colonial variant, is the local US Anglo elite allied with the US Jewish/Zionist elite for economic reasons. This local Anglo elite would probably support a Confederation of North American States (and abandon the Jews/Zionists) if they could see a route to retaining their Group I elite status, either directly, or more likely by once again (later in the process), gradually centralizing control over State administrations.
The State’s political independence (especially raising and spending their own taxes) would need to be very carefully protected, but the Catch 22 is of course, that if their independence was solidly protected, they would never get essential Group I support. Group I would stick with the Zionists.

1929 and WW II was the way out last time. 1929 saw the assets of the Group I dwindle markedly. Both financial and physical assets declined, and the Federal government was (in practice) opposed to their ever rising again. The elites in _all_ combatant countries, save none, in WW II had their assets confiscated and largely expended in the fighting. At the end, Group I’s dominance was gone, transferred to the Executive Agencies and to some extent the formal Congressional, Executive, and Judicial branch of the Federal Government. [1]
It could happen again. In fact, it is plausibly happening in that we see the cities failing, asset devouring warfare, very large debt, decline of physical assets, and a predicted 2008 level financial failure. Group I is being assailed by the unemployables it brought in to keep city populations up.
If Group I loses its financial, physical, and political base, then its place is very weakly held and is up for grabs. That’s where the USSR went.

Congress had ceded much of its power to the Executive Agencies, the Courts weren’t all-powerful until the 1950s, and the Executive himself didn’t do anything radical on their own initiative until JFK/LBJ. By that time the government bureaucracy was well on its way to the unintelligent dominance that we see today.

Right, the current elites are urban, and the cities are living by taxing other parts of the US and by various means taking resources from the US influenced world. “Tax” doesn’t mean “infinite resources”.
You remember the 2008 financial panic. The “Wall Street” firms with good lobbying efforts were re-funded; all else was allowed to sink. This was in large part because the urban areas depended upon taxes from the Wall street firms, and the firms with the most lobbyists were considered most likely to resist taxes less than those with fewer lobbyists. This makes a plausible case that the urban areas _almost_ lost vital tax base, and is a plausible illustration of future hazards. For a second illustration, consider the flight of productive citizens from the States in which the more predatory urban areas live. This also reduces tax income.
Tax income lasts until it doesn’t.
That’s one way to do it, and has some precedent. Like other loose confederations, it would have to defend itself in a world of contending states, and might be changed into something better able to raise the forces needed to do that.
Which would promptly find themselves in a war with other States. California needs water from the Rockies, and Mississippi would have a population largely unable to support an industrial society. Think Zimbabwe, right here in CONUS. Texas might find itself fighting Mexico again.

A lot of this race conflict in the US is artificial, and whipped up by the Jewish media as part of their anti-Anglo race war.
Take away the MSM, (and have states organizing their own affairs) and 1) they’re going to be too busy sorting out their healthcare, schools, taxation etc. to get into conflict with neighbouring states 2) because of differences in resources they’re going to have to cooperate and trade inter-state with a Confederation of States framework helping out.
As for Mississippi, they could probably look after their own affairs OK at a basic level (they’re not rich). So far Blacks have just been a tool in the anti-Anglo race war, with the MSM promoting the worst aspects of their society. The MSM doesn’t appreciate regular law abiding Black “Uncle Toms”.
Latinos are in Texas precisely because they want an opportunity for a better life and don’t want to live in Mexico. That suggest, that if they were running Texas, they would do it on the US Anglo model which they see as superior to the Mexican variant.
