So, how are you enjoying the “New Normal” so far? Is it paranoid and totalitarian enough for you? If not … well, hold on, because it’s just getting started. There is plenty more totalitarianism and paranoia still to come.

I know, it feels like forever already, but, in fact, it has only been a few months since GloboCap started rolling out the new official narrative. We’re still in the early stages of it. The phase we’re in now is kind of like where we were back in February of 2002, a few months after the 9/11 attacks, when everyone was still in shock, the Patriot Act was just a few months old, and the Department of Homeland Security hadn’t even been created yet.

You remember how it was back then, when GloboCap was introducing the official “War on Terror” narrative, don’t you?

OK, maybe you do and maybe you don’t. Maybe you’re too young to remember, or you were caught up in the excitement of the moment and weren’t paying attention to the details. But some of us remember it clearly. We remember watching (and futilely protesting) as GloboCap prepared to invade, destabilize, and restructure the entire Middle East, as countries throughout the global capitalist empire implemented “emergency security measures” (which, 18 years later, are still in effect), as the corporate media bombarded us with official propaganda, jacked up The Fear, and otherwise prepared us for the previous “New Normal” … some of us remember all that clearly.

Personally, I remember listening to a liberal academic on NPR calmly speculating that, just hypothetically, at some point in the not-too-distant future, we might need to sacrifice our principles a bit, and torture some people, to “keep America safe.” I recounted this to other Americans at the time, among my many other concerns about where the post-9/11 mass hysteria was heading. Most of them told me I was just being paranoid, or that they didn’t really care, because we needed to do whatever was “necessary” to protect Americans, and, in any event, “the terrorists deserved it.” Shortly thereafter, I started making plans to get the hell out of the country.

I mention that, not to signal my virtue — leaving the U.S.A. didn’t achieve anything, except for improving my standard of living — but to jog your memory, and maybe prompt you to compare that period to the one we are in now. The parallels are overwhelming. The “state of emergency.” The propaganda. The mass hysteria. The mob mentality. The exaggeration of the actual threat. The police-state atmosphere. The suppression of dissent. The constant repetition of the new official narrative. The exhortative catchphrases and meaningless slogans. The confusion. The chaos. The existential fear. And so on. It is all so very familiar.

I’m referring to the simulated pandemic, of course, but also to the racialized civil unrest and identitarian polarization that GloboCap has fomented throughout the United States, and, to varying degrees, the rest of the empire. I’ve been covering the War on Populism and GloboCap’s “Trump-is-literally-Hitler” propaganda since 2016, so the civil unrest isn’t terribly surprising. But, I confess, I did not see the fake plague coming. Running the two psy-ops together was brilliant. The effect on people has been devastating. Everyone is either depressed or enraged, or in some stage of paranoid paralysis. Some have been so thoroughly terrorized that they are literally refusing to leave their houses. Others are lining up at gun shops. White people are getting down on their knees and publicly washing Black people’s feet in “symbolic demonstrations of forgiveness.” Condiments are changing their names. It’s like we’re all trapped in a gratuitously didactic Netflix zombie-apocalypse series set in the world of The Handmaid’s Tale, written, directed, and produced by Spike Lee.

The official propaganda could not be more Orwellian, nor could people’s willingness to go along with it. It doesn’t even have to appear to make sense. Doublethink has taken over. For example, most of the developed world has been in some form of totalitarian lockdown, and subjected to other police-state measures (like being beaten and arrested for not wearing a mask), for no justifiable reason whatsoever, for going on the last five months, but, according to the corporate media (and the millions of people they have apparently brainwashed), it’s only now that Trump has sent his Homeland Security goons into Portland that, suddenly, “democracy is under attack!”

But wait … no, I take it back, the Orwellianism gets even more Orwellian. According to GloboCap and its sanctimonious minions, that sentence I just wrote about Portland is racist, because nearly everything you can imagine is racist, or is a potential threat to the public health. Calling riots “riots” is racist. Silence is racist. Free speech is racist. Refusing to wear a mask is racist. The BLM protesters are immune to the virus, but other large gatherings (which, it goes without saying, are probably racist) all have to be banned. Normality, as Americans knew it, is over, and it is never, ever, coming back, because white supremacy caused the pandemic. Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland (where life has been going on without mass hysteria) do not exist. They have never existed (and, if they ever did, they were probably racist). Talking on public transportation is deadly. Interacting with children is potentially deadly, as are most other forms of human interaction … unless you’re tearing down a racist statue, or burning down a local family business, while wearing a designer anti-racism mask.

Seriously, though, just like in 2002, when GloboCap was still rolling out the “War on Terror” narrative, the facts are all available for anyone who cares. The falsification of Covid statistics and hospital capacity figures, the unreliability of the tests, and so on … it has all been repeatedly documented. Anyone with a positive test result who later dies of any cause (including a fatal motorcycle accident) is counted as a “Covid death.” Anyone admitted to a hospital for anything who tests positive for the virus is a “Covid hospitalization.” And, I’m sorry to disappoint my liberal friends (assuming I have any left at this point), but systematic racism and police brutality did not suddenly begin in 2016.

What suddenly began in 2016 was a concerted effort on the part of GloboCap to put down a growing populist backlash against global capitalism and its soulless ideology. Yes, most of that backlash is neo-nationalist in character, but it also includes a significant number of old-fashioned lefty-types like myself, and a lot of other un-woke folks who aren’t quite ready to embrace their new identities as interchangeable human commodities.

We are experiencing the culmination of that effort (or what they hope is the culmination of that effort) to put down this motley populist insurgency, and ensure that it never happens again. GloboCap is teaching us a lesson. The lesson is:

“This is what you get when you fuck around with GloboCap. This is what voting for Trump, Brexit, and all the rest of that ‘populist’ nonsense gets you … global pandemics, civil race wars, riots, lockdowns, economic depression, societal collapse, chaos, fear. Go ahead, fuck around with us some more. We will make you wear ridiculous face masks forever. We will paint little arrows and boxes on the floor to show you where to walk and stand. We will bankrupt your businesses, shut down your schools, psychologically torture your children. We’ll inject them with any fucking thing we want. There is nothing you can do about it. We will make you get down on your knees and apologize for fucking with us, or we will stigmatize you as a ‘racist,’ sic our mobs of fanatics on you, and ‘cancel’ you and your entire family.”

This, essentially, is the message that GloboCap is delivering to disobedient populists (left or right, it makes no difference; GloboCap doesn’t care which political labels we cling to or slap on each other). It is our final warning to quit playing grab-ass, get with the global capitalist program, and start behaving and thinking as we’re told … unless we want to get locked down again, and ordered to wear things on our faces, and be otherwise ritually humiliated.

See, the so-called “New Normal” (i.e., the new ideological narrative that GloboCap is rolling out) is actually not that new at all … or, OK, the pathologization part is (and I’ll be paying close attention to that aspect of it), but, basically, it’s just plain old totalitarianism. It isn’t state-totalitarianism, because our world isn’t ruled by nation-states. It is ruled by global capitalism. We are being reminded of that fact at the moment … and being shown what happens if we start to forget it.

Where we go from here is anyone’s guess. My hunch is, it is only going to get worse until they can get Trump out of office, which Americans are liable to help them do, simply to make the whole nightmare stop. Once he’s gone, they’ll probably retire the fake pandemic, call off the riots, and stage some sort of international celebration of the Rebirth of Democracy, after which they can get finally back to the business of ruthlessly destabilizing, restructuring, and privatizing the planet, sanitizing history, curing humanity of racism, hate, and other pathologies, and otherwise enforcing rigid conformity to global capitalist ideology.

Maybe they could get the Hamilton composer to write them a hip hop Deutschlandlied to use as a supranational anthem. They could call it GloboCap Über Alles … it kind of has a ring to it, doesn’t it? #

If it hadn’t been for them, I might never have been able to realize how oppressive the dystopia they created actually is.

  7. What if coronavirus really was deadly, and, no matter what your little feelings are about it, or about the measures needed to halt it, something must be done, something that you will not like, being the “freedom”-loving idiotlibertarian fools you are, but something draconian, unless, that is, of course, “freedom” is more important than staying alive?

As to the US color revolution, it will peter out when the weather gets colder. Blacks have already given up on it. It’s just paid Soros goons left. And Trump is handling the Portland thing very intelligently. He’s not shooting anybody. Just quietly removing the ring-leaders from circulation.

What you angry people should be doing is rioting for food, and, if you have a job, striking for higher pay, more benefits, safety precautions. But you won’t do that. You’ll, like Hopkins, just whine about stuff you read about on the Intranets.

  9. It’s ironic that the global capitalism is being aided and abetted by megalomaniac governors, who like Alexander Haig, are in charge (but for real). Every state has their own insurance racket, their own motor vehicle licensing and regulations, their own physician licensing (convenient for the atrocious ones, who can move from state to state “practicing”). Now they are getting a taste of real power with Public Health and the epidemic. And while the Acela Corridor’s epidemic started in March, the more populous states (Florida, with most of the old people, Texas and California) after being in lockdown for no reason for three months are finally starting their own epidemics and are looking at another two to three months of epidemic. Hopefully they have better physicians than NYC or we are looking at more than 100,000 more deaths.
Would think we could adopt Asian responses which have resulted in 100-fold less deaths, but Americans are exceptional.

“It’s ironic that the global capitalism is being aided and abetted by megalomaniac governors”

No, it’s not ironic at all. Those scumbag state governors[ Whitmer, Newsom, Abbot etc.] are all being paid off to do exactly what they’re doing by their supra-national controllers. The governors themselves are just “yes-men”, nothing more. If you believe they’re actually acting independently then you are missing the big picture here.

CJ Hopkins says: “Once he’s gone, they’ll probably retire the fake pandemic,”

    Retire? In your dreams!

Which fake plandemic? You do realize that the current scamdemic is just a “warmer- upper”, to get you “in the mood” as it were, yes?

CV-19 i simply our “new training wheels”, an “Acclimatiser”, nothing more.

So, au contraire mon frere, they probably ain’t gonna quit, EVER. You can bet there’s another one already loaded and ready to go, Gates has already stated that much. And why stop there? CV-20, 21, 22, ad infinitum.

When you’ve got a good thing going, why would you quit? Instead, run it again and again, until it fails. But maybe it won’t fail, ever – because people are stupid and people are already pre-programmed useful idiot slaves, without ever suspecting that plain as day fact.

The apparent goal is mass vaccination [ to mark via invisible tattoo everyone on the planet], and then once we’re all marked, and caged/imprisoned in our comfy little “new, new normal”, “smart cities”, complete with facial recognition, social credit scores , approved jobs etc. etc., then ultimately, a dramatic “culling of the herd” will occur; that is, a mass extermination of most of humanity to reduce the world population to 500 mil. or less.

So what’re you proposing to do about all _that_ C.J., vote your way out of it, perhaps? Are you, like most, naive enough to believe that that will do the trick?

Great article, despite your naive”leftist statism” [as opposed to the equally naive “rightist statism”], thanks so much.

    Two things:
    1. Real-life epidemics don’t work the way movie epidemics do. No epidemic is going to sweep through the country, kill 90% of the population and turn 90% of the remainder into zombies. (I loved Will Smith in “I Am Legend”, though.)

    2. Cowards may disagree, but the quality of life is not measured solely by its length. As Thomas Jefferson once said, “From time to time, the Tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” (Personally, I think the blood of quislings would work just fine, too.)

What you angry people should be doing is rioting for food, and, if you have a job, striking for higher pay, more benefits, safety precautions.

    1. I am not angry. You sound angry, but I am not angry.

2.Between China & India, GloboCap has Three Billion strikebreakers waiting for something like that.

Frankly, all we can do is the following:
    1. Wait and See what happens
    2. Have faith that God will help us
    3. Be ready to act when the time is right

If you don’t have faith in God … if you are convinced that God does not exist or that God does not care what happens to us, then you have two options:
    1. Get with the GloboCap program, or
    2. Kill yourself

…because GloboCap currently holds a winning hand. However, God can turn that around – no problem.

  18. The same people that did 911 are behind the fake virus and are using the hyped up Jew MSM to push the narrative in much the same way. Those that Hopkins terms GloboCap are the Zionist syndicate of criminals that promoted the other fake viruses as well as the fake AIDS epidemic (see Dr. Peter Duesburg). This medical hoax is lots more effective than Gore’s and Greta’s global warming, acid rain, wer’e running out of oil, the ozone layer is being depleted, overpopulation, mercury is poisoning all the fish, the Great Lakes are dying, Chernobyl will ruin the planet etc. They are even conditioning the goyim to wear the cuck masks.

The riots are another Zionist tool. The purpose is to demoralize then destabilize society so that people will demand the national gov. step in. The elite want to get rid of local law enforcement and use their own thugs that are under their authority in order to implement martial law whenever they want.

One of the most effective tools of the Zionists is the Republican Democratic paradigm. The goyim think they are throwing one bunch out and putting in a different one but at the top both parties are controlled by the same group. Look at Trump’s top donors, the Chabad Lubavich Kushner, Sheldon (all I care about is Zionism) Adelson, Paul Singer and Bernie Marcus. All Zionist Jews. On the Democrat side it is the same, just a different set of Jews. Congress is also controlled by aIPAC and other Jew organizations. Hardly any of them will vote against the Zionist agenda. Left or right, doesn’t matter as long as they are Zionist.

Everyone is a capitalist. Everyone has to allocate resources. The problem is that some of the elite and politically connected are able to use the power of government to get society to work for them. This is what the Zionist criminal syndicate has done for over 100 years.

The pandemic is real, hundreds of scientific papers published by dozen research groups around the world, million of cases in hospitals, cannot be fake, but GloboCap is an opportunistic parasite and you are an old-fashioned leftist temporarily lacking in nuance. That is the explanation of your essay.

  21. Generally an insightful and incisive screed. One significant quibble. Hopkins uses THEIR term: “Patriot Act”. My friend, Al, remarked this morning that if it sounds good it’s probably a lie. One major aspect of this war against common humanity by the Babylonian Blood Brotherhood, as directed by the Sanhedrin elite quietly ensconced behind the curtain, is the consistent use of semantics.

Some would say “Semitics”, but that’s being a bit over the top. Semantics is wholly a matter of using words in a deliberately confusing manner. “Patriot Act” sounds righteous, does it not? But truth in advertising (rarely found since the days of Edward Bernays) would add one little word to the combo: “Patriot Suppression Act.” Simple enough–telling the truth.

Lets do some more instances: “War on Poverty.” Would not “War on both the poor and the productive classes” be a more accurate description of the regicidal LBJ and his “Great Society” programs.

A few years later and we get Tricky Dickster’s “War on Drugs.” Primarily directed at its inception at cannabis and specifically aimed at blacks and hippies via Rockefeller/Rothschild chief Minion Heinrich Ki$$inger and only very much later focusing in on opiates and suchlike; the “War on Drugs” was in essence “War on WE THE PEOPLE.” How many millions of innocent individuals who were using the most efficacious analgesic known to medical science were arrested, jailed, fined, imprisoned and generally degraded–to say nothing about losing jobs, vehicles, money, homes and all too often, families? “War on Drugs”–convenient masking behind semantics.

Maybe we can use semantics too. How about prosticutors bringing lawbreakers to courts of injustice for disobeying (or being unaware of) the more than 5,000 federal felony-level “laws” which criminalize .individuals who were NOT guilty of common-law offenses? These statutory pieces of generally Bill of Rights defying legislation were passed by bribed and blackmailed Prostiticians acting on behalf of the Moneymonger agenda for the creation of an orderly brave new world. All these contraconstitutional statutes have been erected by the prostiticians, of the administrative bureaucraps and for the Babylonian Blood Brotherhood. It has all come down through the sewers emanating from the Di$trict of Corruption.

Capisce? The front lines of this war for the future of humanity are matters of semantics. The words and terms we use determine whether we are playing by THEIR rules or our own. BTW: This is a war to the death. We should seriously take a look at how they are making war on Syria and its people on behalf of the Rothschild-Zionist Uber-agenda with their plans for “Eretz Yisroel–from the Nile to the Euphrates.

The role of the United $tates of America Corporation, duly registered in 1988 under Delaware corporate law, is that of Global Robocop…and all the U$ems dutifully chant “U$A!, U$A!, U$A!” There is, after all, a significant difference between semantically owned, media-mesmerized morons we can call “U$ems” and that growing minority of those of us who are NOT comfortably numb who can still call ourselves Americans.

    • Agree: Adam Smith
  22. @Levtraro

Oh, the plandemic is real enough…so long as you can throw off the reins and harness connecting your managed perceptions to the globalist agenda and come to the REALization that its all being operated by the little man behind the curtain. The virus was almost certainly created at labs within the facilities of the University of North Carolina by a group of scientists and researchers who set up shop there after their previous hive at Fort Derrick, Maryland (home of the AIDS virus and many others) got a bit too heavily “outed” and just a bit “hot”.

The information I cited, without references, is all available via a plethora of internet sites, while being carefully circumcised within the mainscream media.

  23. Covid 19 is as real as all the others like Bird flu, Swine flu HiN1, SARS1 and the fake AIDS epidemic. See Dr. Peter Duesburg on that one. Covid 19 has not passed the standard Koch’s Postulate test for pathogens because it can’t. Fake virus, fake test, fake numbers. People are dying as usual but are now tagged Covid 19. CDC dumbass Debra Brix actually got up on t.v. and said “we have told the hospitals to tag everything possible as covid 19.” Its as real as WMD’s and Greta’s global warming. As real as fake Floyd and the Los Vegas Shooting.

The lab story came out with the 5G and the bat soup theories. If it was a real threat would it have to be hyped with the fake overflowing hospitals, fake medical tents, the old hospital ship and a fake test that gives ap. 82% false positives. Everything Jewmerica does is a lie and a fraud. Covid 19 is the latest psyop.

  24. Is the virus real:
    My investigation of COVID-19 Jul
    7
    by Jon Rappoport

    July 7, 2020

(To join our email list, click here.)

This is one of those investigations in which you ask yourself, IS THE PHENOMENON, AS DESCRIBED, REAL? That’s where I started. At this point, I’ve written well over 150 articles about COVID-19.

And of course, the phenomenon is not real.

Most people wouldn’t be able to grasp that. They’re stuck at the gate, saying, PEOPLE ARE DYING, IT MUST BE THE VIRUS.

Well, people are always dying. It’s very easy to repackage their deaths under a new label. And those that are dying for new reasons…you can track down those reasons, too. In a few places, it’s pollution, in another place it could well be a previous vaccine campaign, and so on. In New York, a lot of people are dying premature deaths because they’re put on breathing ventilators and heavily sedated.

As I laid out in several key articles, proper procedures of viral discovery were never carried out in China or anywhere else. There is no convincing proof researchers ever found a new virus.

Therefore, every piece of so-called information coming from “new virus” has no foundation whatsoever. For example, the diagnostic tests. Tests for what? And then, the case numbers would be meaningless as well.

But again, these facts are hard for people to swallow. They want to believe. They believe they must believe. It’s a theocracy.

In the set-up, there are two positions you can take. You can stand outside the whole illusion and expose it; or you can enter the illusion and then show internal contradictions and lies and false pictures, within the fraud.

For instance, the case numbers. I’ve explained ways the CDC and other agencies are fiddling them, inflating them. I’ve also stood outside the whole case number game and pointed out it’s without meaning, because, again, the existence of a new virus hasn’t been proven. The tests, all of them, are supposed to be evidence of the presence of the virus.

You can be OUTSIDE or INSIDE. Or both.

Let’s say someone publishes a photo of 510th Street in New York during rush hour. You can simply say there is no 510th Street in New York. Or you can look at the details of the photo. You can say, “You see that man wearing a fleecy winter coat and a long scarf? Now look behind him. There are three girls wearing bikinis waiting for a bus. Doesn’t that seem odd?”

You can also make a circumstantial case. That’s a third aspect of an investigation. “Look, this man accused of check forgery has been convicted three times in other states for the same crime. He worked for his uncle, who went to prison for forgery in France. Right now, he lives above a store where a check forger is turning out fake checks.”

I’ve done that with the virus—showing that, back through history, the so-called discovery of a new virus, and its promotion, have been used to obscure, and stand in for, other forms of killing. Industrial pollution, forced starvation, purposeful contamination of water supplies, treatment with highly toxic medical drugs and vaccines. The story about a virus protects the killers.

As you can see, I’m explaining all this in a very straightforward way. Now. But in 1987, when the issue was AIDS and HIV, and I was writing a book on the subject, I waded through a mass of confusion for months. The confusion was caused by me being inside the picture and not knowing there was an outside. When I finally realized what was going on, a large number of seemingly disparate pieces of information clicked into place. I saw the landscape. I saw what was in it, and I could stand away from it and look at it as a whole.

As a fourth consideration, you could examine the history of the teachings that train and predispose people to believe in a phenomenon that is not real. In this case, teachings about germs. Teachings that indicate germs are as dangerous as nitroglycerin. Teachings that claim disease comes directly from germs—ignoring, for example, the fact that people have intrinsic immune defenses. Mind control through germ theory is a long story that I’m just briefly mentioning. But it’s very useful to see how indoctrination works in the background; when the next big epidemic is announced, most people immediately fall in line. They’re confirming what they’ve been taught to believe. It’s another church.

There was the church of HIV, the church of West Nile, the church of SARS, Swine Flu, Zika, Bird Flu, and so on.

Speaking of teachings—one of the most important predispositions that people cling to like life rafts is: one effect, one cause. The effect would be COVID-19, and the cause would be the coronavirus. But the effect is not One Thing. As I stated above, people are actually dying as a result of different conditions…which have different causes. Grasping this produces a very beneficial explosion that scatters much mind control.

Another predisposition is the illogical notion that the effect proves the cause. “Well, look at the all the lockdowns (effect); therefore, the cause, the justification must be the dangerous virus.” Nonsense. Aristotle exposed that fallacy a long time ago.

“But…but I don’t care. People are dying, it must be the virus. I believe.”

Yes, people believe. When has that not been the case?

And when they believe, they ask a few typical questions. “But what about the people dying in Italy?” They are the BUT WHAT ABOUT people. They always have another WHAT ABOUT. Or they’ll say, “There was a boy who suddenly died in Montana, how do you explain that?” The HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN people.

I explain what I can, based on evidence I’ve put together. I don’t know what happened to the boy in Montana or the girl in India or the mother in Mongolia. But I do know there is no particular reason to assume the virus was the cause of death.

True believers tend to put things together this way: the news reports an unusual death; it’s impossible to understand what happened from the account; unusual effect must equal an unusual cause; the COVID virus would be unusual; therefore, the virus caused the unusual death. Preposterous, but there it is. You can take a sledgehammer to that pillar of dull thought, and you won’t knock it down in a hundred years.

Then we come to the question of conspiracy. This can also be called: who benefits? People mistakenly assume that a conspiracy is like a bank robbery. A small number of people walk into a bank and take the money. They benefit. But in a conspiracy, there are compartmentalized beneficiaries, and they aren’t all plotting together. Most beneficiaries see an opportunity and they take it.

Drug companies make money on the vaccine and the drugs used to treat COVID-19 patients. State governments receive federal money to “fight the virus.” Researchers win promotions. Public health agencies obtain more funding, and more power. Financiers buy up devalued properties at bargain prices. At the top of the ladder, key plotters contrive selling the story of a new killer virus, because they intend to use it to lock down the planet. Why? Because they want to torpedo economies and move in on the wreckage and build a new economic, social, and political world order. It doesn’t take thousands or millions of people—all in the know—to foist a conspiracy. Far from it.

An investigation of a story makes the story fall apart. You see it in a different light. You no longer believe the central narrative. You keep asking deeper questions about basic assertions contained in the story, and your answers produce more collapses of the cement that holds the story together.

Finally, for now, there is the matter of individual choice and responsibility. Individuals can believe or not believe. There is always that option. People are not doomed to accept an oppressive narrative imposed on them. If that were the case, there would be no point to human thought or action. We would forever be victims. This is not the case. It never was. Some people are dedicated to the notion that there is no way out of the dungeon of external control. Their dedication to this proposition has great tonnage. For them. They purposely ignore the fact that, down through history, there has been an enormous struggle to establish individual freedom, and this war has been astonishingly successful—relative to older despotisms and tyrannies. In fact, their choice, now, to walk around spraying doom of whatever brand they want to sell is evidence of that freedom. I’m not impressed by doom. I’m impressed by freedom. We are in yet another fight for it now. I’m impressed by individuals who use their freedom to make their best vision into fact in the world. My investigations are aimed at exposing the power players who plot and fight against freedom.

  27. Anyone who knows history knows that nothing possibly could be worse than living under totalitarian domination. There is no competing consideration (not that this fake “democracy” has had even the most cursory debate over values and priorities since the mass terror propaganda campaign was launched) which would be worth running any significant risk of further escalating the police state, mass social compulsion and technocratic dominion.

Of course that last word, Dominion, is the key word here. The entire terror-lockdown campaign bases itself on the idiotic premise of Dominion theology (today encountered more often in its modern “secular” form of scientism/technocracy) than Man can control Nature. That’s the only way one can be so arrogantly stupid as to think your governments and corporations and their media can control a pandemic-level free-ranging virus.

No, the bug has long been out of the barn, perhaps for years now, and you can’t put it back. Covid-19 will do whatever it will do. (So far all the evidence is that its overall effect on the physical health of humanity will be relatively mild. As for mental health…)The virus will complete its natural cycle. The only thing lockdowns and superstitious rites like masking and anti-social spacing can accomplish is to drag out the inevitable while adding a long list of artificial, deliberate evils.

What else would you expect from these governments, corporations and their media and other institutions? They’re committed to evil power goals at every point, and from day one their one and only thought about the Coronavirus is how to use it as the best pretext yet to try to impose totalitarian control and domination. That’s the one and only practicable goal the system has here.

But as for controlling the virus, Gaia laughs at them and at all the zombies that follow them.

Yes, certainly draconian. Sadly, Ending Living to Halt Dying really must be our new normal from now on.
    NOTHING else makes any sense!

“unless, that is, of course, “freedom” is more important than staying alive?”

We’ll exactly Bobwee-wee! Staying Alive to Halt Death is much, much more important than Living Life, which was always very over-rated anyway, if you ask me… the new me… the post Bobwi’s post me! The whole new normal me.

Good takes, Michael. Problem with the Acela Corridor and Florida, Texas and anywhere there’s a “spike” is the number of false positives. Counties in Florida (Pasco and Penellas County outside Tampa come to mind since I’ve been down there 6 months out of the last 7) reported between 80 or 90 false positives out of 140. Connecticut officials talked in Boston Globe last week that half their positives re-tested negative inside of a week. A new protocol developing is to re-test a positive repeatedly in order to gain what they called a ‘consensus in testing’ for any one positive-testing patient at the outset where the patient has no symptoms. Others stated retests are urged for positive OR negative results. Then the damned article along with some enlightening quotes disappeared, as in, hours. Guess they didn’t want people to demand re-testing.

Maybe the Deep State sent out a statistically-effective number of tests designed to test positive no matter the truth in order to keep up the game.

The same people that did 911 are behind the fake virus and are using the hyped up Jew MSM to push the narrative in much the same way.

That’s it, even down to the “right interpretation” – including every last detail – arriving fully formed from the propaganda department (MSM) in no time at all. With 911 everyone immediately knew all about Arab terrorists, Bin Laden, aircraft hijacks, box cutters, flight schools – even the identity of the pilots. With Covid19 it was instant knowledge about Wuhan laboratories, wet markets, bats, Chinese cover-ups and malfeasance.

IMO, considering that 911 was used to launch the US military against the Middle East and justify Emergency Rule (that part failed), then Covid19 is the centre piece of a package (inc. Huawei, Hong Kong, Houston embassy, Uighurs in Xinjiang) to launch an attack against China, and try a second time for the Holy Grail of US Emergency Rule (dictatorship).

Or did they just assume the corner-cutters would just do it without need to compensate?

Unlike any civilized country, the U$ suffers from a male population which was in the main the victim of neonatal sexual assault within 24 hours of popping outta the oven. Yes, when the man-hood is surgically removed–without anesthetics, even, the fear meme is deeply embedded within the “lizard-brain”.

Dylan Thomas’ poetry included the line: “Here’s to the wound that never heals.” When American males sport wounded weenies, they may well be normal, but absolutely not natural. Both sexes bearing “wounds” indicates that psychologically the American populace is highly susceptible to fear memes.

Where we go from here is anyone’s guess. My hunch is, it is only going to get worse until they can get Trump out of office …”

This is a confused and confusing article. “Globocap” is supposed to be conspiring against the people to impose totalitarian control over them. We’re told the pandemic is a manufactured crisis designed specifically to advance that objective. Who exactly is in this club called “Globocap”? The author doesn’t say. All he tells us is that Trump, a billionaire, isn’t in the club. But since we apparently don’t have a copy of the membership list, how can we be sure? What, exactly, has the Orange Tweety Bird actually done that has advanced the cause of American nationalism? Little, if anything. And does billionaire Trump oppose capitalism? Hardly.

Rather than being the product of some dark conspiracy of nameless rich guys (but not Trump! He’s OUR rich guy!), isn’t it just possible that the incremental decreases in personal freedom characteristic of the last few years result from the nature of technological society itself, with its inherent hazards and immense proliferation of countless laws and regulations? Such a society must be run by experts, and for best results, their dictates must be followed to the letter. Conformist human nature does the rest, as it guarantees that there will be no shortage of self-appointed policemen to enforce these dictates, however insane they may be. So the totalitarian hysteria can spread, no meetings of Rothschilds or Bilderbergers required. This is the simpler explanation, though admittedly it’s much more fun to speculate about “hostile elites” conspiring in the shadows.

A worker outside thanks you for wearing a mask, but a brave few just breeze past without one. They used to have a sign just saying masks were “recommended.” They are squeezing the life out of us.

Once inside, many proceed to wear their masks below the nose, so that they can at least breathe fresh air. I notice many Walmart workers doing the same and wonder if they are ever reprimanded.

How any worker can wear a mask for 8 hours is beyond me. That’s a lot of torture for a measly $9 an hour. I wonder how many have gotten sick and passed out from breathing their own spit and CO2 all day. They at least deserve hazard pay.

It should be noted that the very depth of the Depression -1931- New York newspapers proudly announced that John D. Rockefeller (“competiton is a sin”) had become the nation’s first trillionaire. That son of David Abramovich Rockefeller spawned a slew of descendants–numbering somewhere over 200 now–all of whom, spread among the nestlings, possess approximately $750 billion in CONTROLLED ASSETS. I have no information on their general net-worth.

Much of the wealth of the Rockefeller’s (and crime-family cohorts such as the Harrimans, Duponts, Warburgs, Mellons, Schiffs, Morgans et aliens) is stowed safely in foundations, universities, medical centers and even in political parties. Of course, with the funding goes control, by means of their nominees who perpetually haunt the boards of directors of the above and additional institutions.

Your explanation makes perfect sense (and to a large extent it’s my view as well). But it won’t get any traction here. People here are not interested in explanations that don’t involve conspiracy theories.

In the 1960s it was the loss of an economic base by the cities (**). In the 2020s it is the loss of a political base by the cities (***) — worldwide.

Eventually, something real will happen, something having to do with a structural recognition of the urban decline. Hasn’t happened yet — everybody is pretending that it’s just an incipient civil war. It’s more serious than that, in the same way that the World Wars were more serious than the Franco-Prussian wars.

Suddenly, in a cascade failure, the tax money wasn’t enough to keep the city solvent, the hinterland revolted (Tea Party, Yellow Vests, UKIP, . . .) and the urban tax farms revolted (AOC, refusal to vote for HRC, even refusal of Black areas to follow Antifa) leaving the establishment’s worthless child SJWs with large debts and no job prospects.

Yes, the Zionists always have to have a problem to keep the goyim occupied. They must always maintain an external enemy also in order to move their agenda along. A stable society of contented people does nothing for the Zionist criminals.

As you say, we can expect another world war because that is when the biggest power grab can be achieved. I expect that Russia and China (both built up by U.S. technology) will combine forces to attack Jewmerica. This will enable massive use of the thesis – antithesis so that Zionist syndicate can rally the goyim around their new patriotic austerity program.

Martial law can then be imposed because of the emergency situation. The goal is the abolition of all private property as called for by their agent Marx (Moses Mordecai Levy) because once the goyim lose there property rights all liberties will be extinguished.

I was surprised that the cucks were so stupid to fall for the childish fake virus, fake test and made up numbers from the criminal CDC. As you pointed out anyone that used their brain a little bit could see the Jew MSM spin from the very beginning.

There is a rising tide of nationalism but most of this is just a frustrated reaction to pressure from above and below. Most of the people look at things in a very superficial way. They have a quick fix and then they forget about it. One of the most effective parts of this scam is the Rep. Dem. paradigm. The goyim think they are making a difference at the top by throwing out one Zionist puppet actor and putting in another. When in reality they are all controlled by the same group. The Presidency has been controlled since Wilson and almost all of Congress is too.

My hope is that we can begin to turn things around now even at the 11th hour by electing some real Americans to the House.

Allowing ideology to influence technology or its development only results in inferior technology. Examples: Lysenkoism, or the Amish lifestyle. But if having the “best” technology, in the sense of the most efficient, is the goal, then expert opinion can’t be shaped. A technological society must be run by experts to deliver optimum results. The more technology-dependent a society becomes, the more this is true. Hence the steady move toward global totalitarian control.

  87. Majority of One: “Sorry, but Trump is a mere billionaire. It’s a tiny handful of trillionaires and a quorum of multi-mega-billionaires who call the shots.”

Two things wrong here. Such a view:

    1) Strips most people of their moral agency, reducing them to the status of puppets that have no will or interests of their own.
    2) Assumes money is the only thing that motivates actions.

Both of these errors are common among conspiracy theorists, and both are counter-factual. A perfect example is provided to us by Unz columnist Paul Craig Roberts, who in his last 4 or 5 articles repeats absurd propaganda that the American Civil War was caused by banking interests, and had nothing to do with slavery. That’s just wrong, and not how people at the time saw it. Example: Henry Lewis Benning, a Confederate general in the War, who said it was fought over slavery — the South knew it must preserve it, and the North wanted to abolish it as a matter of Christian religious principle.

    http://civilwarcauses.org/benningva.htm

Benning and countless other Southerners fought the North for many reasons that had nothing to do with money. It is simply and obviously the case that people have a will of their own, can resist the will of “banking interests” if they so choose, and that money, while important, isn’t the sole motivator of human actions.

    • Agree: dfordoom
  88. It is easy to find hard core slavery advocates but the fact is the War off Northern Aggression was fought to maintain the northern tariffs. For 36 years before Lincoln maneuvered the south into finally firing the first shot, the North had maintained illegal and unconstitutional tariffs (some as high as 200%) to not only monopolize trade but to damage the Southern economy. Cotton was the only export the U.S. had. The South was paying 86% of the federal gov. but since they were out voted in Congress they got none of the benefits such as railroads.

We even have the northern Sec. of State’s private letters to prove it. Less than 5% of southerners owned any slaves, almost all of them being on large plantations and in many places in the south such as New Orleans, the majority of negroes were free. Many that were slaves were so only in the nominal sense and made their own money and ran theirs own affairs. 14,000 negroes owned slaves themselves and during this period the largest slave owner in S.C. was a black man, a former slave.

If you read the newspapers of the day such as the New York Times your will see that the main issue was trade. The people in the north almost universally cared nothing about the negroes one way or another so long as they were not in the north. The idea that union soldiers would be willing to die to free negroes that were in most cases better off than most northern factory workers is ludicrous.

The sodomite and murderer Lincoln was a disciple of the Whig Henry Clay, leader of the party of the big money interests. This was revamped as the new Republican Party and was under control of the New England Manufactures and Industrialists, most who had catapulted their wealth from their beginning in either the Atlantic Slave Trade or as part of the British opium franchise. The founders of Harvard and Brown Universities are typical examples.

The Northern industrialists would not let the South exercise it’s Constitutional right to revoke its ratification as all states have (or they would not have signed in the first place) because they were terrified of having to compete against the South without trade barriers. The Northern interests were also keenly aware of the coming westward expansion and were afraid New England would be left in the cold. Also note that more northern officers owned slaves then southern ones. War criminals Grant and Sherman are examples. Lee on the other hand refused to have anything to do with the institution. Many of the soldiers in Lee’s army of Northern Virginia were from the Appellation region and had never even seen a black person. Do you think they were fighting for slavery. Before the war started the south sent emissaries 4 times to meet with Lincoln. He would not even meet them. Any half reasonable person would have lowered the illegal tariff and there would have been no secession or bloodshed. But not Lincoln and the radical republicans. They wanted the money the power and the territory no matter how many people they had to murder.

  89. @Commentator Mike

It is my understanding that the Koch’s postulate is still the most widely used standard for testing a pathogen. The so called Covid 19 cannot meet any kind of real scientific test such as a double blind test with a hundred “victims.” That is why they have to have the fake PCR test (82% false positives) to go with it and why it has to be constantly faked to keep it in the cucks mind. That is why they had to have the “overflowing” empty hospitals, fake medical tents, urgent calls for the deadly respirators, all the Hollywood shills for the Jews getting it along with shill Governor Coumo’s brother faking it as he went to his other house and got caught.

And what about the horrendous Covid deaths in Italy where after official autopsies by the gov. it was revealed that over 99% had preexisting conditions most multiple as in heart disease, kidney failure and cancer. But they were tagged covid. In fact CDC criminal Brix let the cat out of the bag when she said on t.v “we have told the hospitals to tag everything possible as covid 19.” An agency of the CDC has confirmed from extensive testing on real flu that the masks are ineffective. Criminal Fauchi said the same thing in February but of course that video has now been removed. Any one that is stupid enough to believe in the Covid fraud that was exposed years ago should wear the masks and rubber gloves 24 hours per day for the rest of their life.

There have always been groups that rather than compete in the market, want society to work for them. It was the same in ancient Egypt and in Rome. The availability of modern technology just makes their work easier but their objective has not changed. With China’s social credit system of total surveillance and control it is easier to control the cattle than when the medieval kings had to use their knights.

This is always going to be a game of the wealthy and powerful because they have the money and connections that others do not. They also develop a mindset defined by Lord Acton when he said “Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

  91. “The people in the north almost universally cared nothing about the negroes one way or another so long as they were not in the north.”

Obviously not true, or the North would not have been so solidly Republican, as they were a vocal anti-slavery party. As Benning put it: The North entertains the opinion that slavery is a sin and a crime. I mean, when I say the North, the Republican party, and that is the North; and they say that any stipulation in the Constitution or laws in favor of slavery, is an agreement with death and a covenant with hell; and that it is absolutely a religious merit to violate it.

Also, here you and Paul Craig Roberts are trying to have it both ways. He says banking interests fomented hatred of the South over the slavery issue. Even if we assume that’s possible, and that the hatred wouldn’t have existed otherwise (an unsubstantiated claim on both your parts), then they obviously cared a great deal about it. But in point of fact, as Benning says, the hatred was driven by Christian religious zeal. Christians have never needed much reason to hate each other. They’ve been doing it since before banks even existed. The history of Christianity is one long record of internecine murder.

“The idea that union soldiers would be willing to die to free negroes that were in most cases better off than most northern factory workers is ludicrous.”

Ludicrous? Dying to free the slaves and make them equal citizens is what they did. The result of the war shows it.

The cities are here to stay. They may be more of a decadent rat hole than a shining beacon of opportunity but the huge majority of people will be in there somewhere. Most people are not going to be able to live out from the cities because the urban and surrounding area are still going to have the preponderance of jobs of whatever there is. Even though the good manufacturing jobs are mostly gone, the cities will still be the best chance for most workers. The time and cost of commuting are other factors that are going to put people closer to the urban areas.

Quality rural land is becoming a resource for the wealthy who can afford to get out of the cities. China has been moving the livestock into the cities for years. They are now using their social credit score system of surveillance and control to monitor all the chinks all the time. They are the NWO model for the Zionist governments since they have the most control. The U.N.’s Sustainable Development Initiative (Agenda 2030-21) is really just a property theft and control system that plans on dumping all the goyim into designated urban areas. The Zionist elite can’t have the cattle roaming around all over the place. The urban areas are the natural place to keep them fenced in.

Well the CDC has this to say about masks and influenza:

Interim Guidance for the Use of Masks to Control Seasonal Influenza Virus Transmission
    Guidelines and Recommendations

    https://www.cdc.gov/flu/professionals/infectioncontrol/maskguidance.htm#:~:text=A%20surgical%20mask%20or%20fit,%2C%20e.g.%2C%20during%20a%20pandemic.

Use of Facemasks and Respirators During an Influenza Pandemic
    https://www2c.cdc.gov/podcasts/media/pdf/Mask.pdf

Not quite that they are “ineffective”.

  94. Commentator Mike: “Not quite that [masks] are “ineffective”.”

But well short of a ringing endorsement. It’s very odd that there appears to have been little testing of the effectiveness of mask wearing as a preventative measure. Nobody knows for sure how effective it is.

What makes me laugh is these guys running around with bandanas on, like they’re going in to rob a bank or something. I just shake my head and am amazed that anyone would think that will help prevent anything. Yet in my area, that’s a government-approved alternative to an actual mask or respirator.

Oh well. Think of it as disabling facial recognition systems. Yeah, that’s the ticket…

  95. Here is the CDC report published May 5 2020: Common sense would dictate that the masks would be ineffective in stopping viruses if there were any. For those that like to breathe their own waste products and be cucks for the same people that promote global warming (now on the MSM back burner) and the other fake flu epidemics, masks are the face diaper badge of approval.

The reference is: “Nonpharmaceutical Measures for Pandemic Influenza in Nonhealthcare Settings—Personal Protective and Environmental Measures.” Published in: “Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vol.26, No. 5, May 2020.” (That journal is published by the CDC.)

I quote from the abstract: “Here, we review the evidence base on the effectiveness of nonpharmaceutical personal protective measures and environmental hygiene measures in non-healthcare settings and discuss their potential inclusion in pandemic plans. Although mechanistic studies [*] support the potential effect of hand hygiene or face masks, evidence from 14 randomized controlled trials of these measures did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza. We similarly found limited evidence on the effectiveness of improved hygiene and environmental cleaning.”

Here are quotes from pages 970-972 of the review: “In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs [randomized controlled trials] that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community from literature published during 1946–July 27, 2018. In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks…”

“Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids… There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”

“In this review, we did not find evidence to support a protective effect of personal protective measures or environmental measures in reducing influenza transmission.”

“We did not find evidence that surgical-type face masks are effective in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza transmission, either when worn by infected persons (source control) or by persons in the general community to reduce their susceptibility…”

[*] In case you want to quibble about the value of what the authors refer to as “mechanistic studies,” the authors are correctly setting those studies off to the side, in favor of the material they preferred to examine: randomized controlled trials—which are widely considered to be more valuable, relevant, and meaningful.

    So there you have it.

A technological society must be run by experts to deliver optimum results. The more technology-dependent a society becomes, the more this is true. Hence the steady move toward global totalitarian control.

That’s been repeated about as many times as “Diversity is our Strength” and “Freedom is Slavery”.

I have several technical degrees in engineering and several published papers, some introducing a new technology to various large social systems. I’ve also spent several decades working in fairly large organizations on problems important to the organizations.

From the inside, the “steady move toward . . . totalitarian control” has been obvious. The control was not, however, “run by experts to deliver optimum results.” It was run by non-experts who worked very hard to maintain the status quo. The political process since about 1970 has tended to favor this sort of management by asserting that Shumpter’s creative destruction of capital is destruction of capital, and cannot be permitted.

Historically, outside of Western Europe since about AD 900, human societies have tended to favor stability over change. Science has been stopped as a political threat, engineering has been at best compartmentalized to specific trades and government shops, and as a result science and engineering results have been lost to barbarian invasions. Since about 1970, the West has also favored stability over change.

Hence the steady move toward global totalitarian control has put non-experts in charge of “technology”. As you might expect, science and engineering have been largely lost, “technology” is stagnating, and we have cultural stasis/decay. The entire situation is described as a great triumph that has given us God like leaders (Biden and Pelosi, or Charlemagne the God, for example) who are experts guided by science to “manage technology”. Belief in this description is enforced.

  98. Anonymous[339]: “From the inside, the “steady move toward . . . totalitarian control” has been obvious. The control was not, however, “run by experts to deliver optimum results. It was run by non-experts who worked very hard to maintain the status quo. ”

Which is causing you to complain that the results were not optimum, correct? So in that sense you’re proving my point.

Anonymous[339]: “Hence the steady move toward global totalitarian control has put non-experts in charge of “technology”.”

To arbitrate within and among technologies is the role of government, and so of course it will often be reluctant to change the status quo or make other disruptions. It will do so only if it believes the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages. Nevertheless though, technological Progress continues, and with each passing year the number of laws and regulations restricting human freedom grows larger. The mask-wearing hysteria, now endorsed by the experts, is a good example. Wearing a mask has become “the mark of the beast”, without which you can’t engage in commerce at all. I suspect this is not on the whim of non-experts. Probably there is a position paper by a team of experts somewhere that states that x number of lives can be saved by this measure, saving the country x number of dollars in medical expenses and lost tax income, thus justifying it.

Anonymous[339]: ” Since about 1970, the West has also favored stability over change. ”

Perhaps that’s what some in government may want or have tried to do, but I think most right-wing people, and perhaps even everyone, regardless of political views, would say that there has been enormous change since the 1970s, and a very great deal of that was due to technological factors. For example, about that time the government, which had previously been repressing birth control technologies, reversed course and made abortion widely available. Scientific birth control technologies are the foundation stone of feminism, and have put women in full control of their own fertility for the first time in history. The result has been tremendous social instability, almost amounting to a revolution. The birth of the surveillance state dates from about that time too; another revolution. The irony is that it’s been set up for the most part by the people themselves. They voluntarily install listening devices and cameras in their own homes! Ah, Progress! The internet, too, hardly favors stability. Thousands of examples could be given. Then, of course, there is immigration. Gotta have it, say the economic experts, so someone will be paying taxes and into social welfare systems like Social Security! Quite a bit of instability from that source too, but it’s thought to be worth it. Examples of expert control abound.

So you advocate a conspiracy of ‘experts’ rather than a conspiracy of ‘rich people’?

Why does there always have to be a conspiracy? The Industrial Revolution changed everything. Was that a conspiracy? The emergence of mass media, beginning with mass-circulation newspapers in the 19th century, but it wasn’t a conspiracy. The Scientific Revolution undermined traditional belief systems, but it wasn’t a conspiracy. Technological developments like the telegraph, the telephone, motion pictures, radio, television – these changed everything, but they weren’t conspiracies.

Over the course of the 19th century western cities acquired effective sewerage system and reliable sources of clean water. Mortality in cities plummeted. City populations exploded. Life expectancy started to go up and up. That had immense social, cultural and economic consequences but it wasn’t a conspiracy.

The growth of civil aviation in the 20th century made international travel cheap and easy. This had many consequences. One of the consequences was international pandemics. That wasn’t a conspiracy.

The European colonisation of the Americas brought syphilis to Europe, with momentous consequences. That wasn’t a conspiracy. The European colonisation of the Americas also brought the potato to Europe, which led indirectly to the catastrophic famine in Ireland in the mid-19th century. But that wasn’t a conspiracy.

Most of the time history is just the result of unforeseen consequences of natural events or of scientific and technological advances.

  100. dfordoom: “Most of the time history is just the result of unforeseen consequences of natural events or of scientific and technological advances.”

Thanks for bringing to our attention this recent study published just a couple of months ago. Let’s give the link for all interested to peruse.

    https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/5/19-0994_article

This is the definitive review of all studies on masks and influenza carried out over the past 80 years.

Just a note. Most of the reviewed studies were conducted over longer periods in household, schools, student dorms and it would have been impossible to wear masks all the time as noted at

    https://www.researchgate.net/publication/341080333_Nonpharmaceutical_Measures_for_Pandemic_Influenza_in_Nonhealthcare_Settings-Personal_Protective_and_Environmental_Measures

Mask-wearing was inconsistent. The groups living together could not wear a mask when bathing, sleeping, eating, or brushing teeth. ..

The measures against Covid-19 include the wearing of masks when among the public, distancing, and isolation of those who catch the virus. For studies to emerge how effective this all may be will take some time, but the experience of PR China would indicate that they work marvelously. That is unless they cremated 4 to 20 million Covid-19 patients as some western propagandists were insisting. And I doubt isolation of those who catch the virus is strictly enforced in many countries.

What is the best technology? Or to put it more precise, where is the best technology? Aren’t you mistaken in talking about the whole of humanity in each of your posts? Sure, Christians might have consumed the USSR in 1991, and have connected China to the world, but that is hardly the only possible way of existence.

What’s about the DPR of Korea? It is certainly technological and efficient – at producing nukes, ICBMs and anti-Christian propaganda. It so happens that no globosodom is needed for an anti-transvestite state.

Are you thinking like a pure Marxist – the ruling class will always conspire, bring ruin to the host country, and sell it away for the sake of profits to the global Christians? Because that is not the case in Juche Korea, at least. Nor even in Iran. Why do you think a local élite must always go global? Not every race is as traitorous as the Aryans.

The Chinese are working with the Zionists of Jewmerica on this virus scam. 350,000 Chinese die every year from pneumonia and Wuhan has the worst air pollution in the world. It’s easy to come up with lots of fake victims.

Looking at all the cucked idiots in public it is easy to see that the vast majority of their masks are not fitting properly. Assuming there were a virus that could be restricted by the masks (the CDC study referenced indicates the masks to be ineffective) then they would have to make a seal to work. This could only be done with a smoke detection test as is done when using a Scott air pack. 99% of people including the recent picture of CDC criminal Fauchi are just hanging some cloth on their face. This has the same efficacy as a witch doctor dancing around in the jungle.

If you believe the lies by the same criminals that have been pushing these frauds for years (and lots of others) especially after all the mountains of evidence that have been brought out then that is your choice. There are many of us who value our individual liberties above all else and understand the government has no right to interfere with our inalienable rights. The government is here to serve us. We are not here to serve the interests of the Zionist criminal syndicate or those of Fauchi and the CDC drug and vaccine pushers.

  105. Adûnâi: “What is the best technology? Or to put it more precise, where is the best technology? Aren’t you mistaken in talking about the whole of humanity in each of your posts?”

I don’t think so. Certainly there are various examples of technology from all over the world, but still, it’s possible to generalize about what they have in common. Both a shovel and a bulldozer are technologies for moving earth, for example. Their use, relative effectiveness, and consequences, both intended and unintended, has nothing to do with where they are used. Human beings too, regardless of race, have certain general characteristics in common.

Adûnâi: “Why do you think a local élite must always go global?”

I think globalism is built into high technology because it requires materials from all over the world, and that being the case, one consequence is that global channels for resource acquisition and distribution must be built up and maintained, by force if necessary. Globalism is also built into human nature, as history shows. What is history but the record of the construction of ever larger and larger empires, then their decline and fall? The urge to dominate others and become richer is built into the human animal. Of course, the ultimate ambition of globalism is a worldwide empire under a one-world government, which can only be done using high technology. Thus, the development of high technology and global totalitarianism go hand in hand.

OK. The following text may seem a bit blunt. It’s just a way of organizing my case, however. Your presentation is well crafted, and represents a fairly widespread opinion that, IMHO, was viable until maybe 2016. So, here goes:

The complaint is not sub-optimal results. It is stagnation and in some areas, it is retrogression.
Here’s a substantive summary of a 2013 summation by Peter Theil (a co-founder of PayPal) concerning technological stagnation.

Thiel works on a different level of abstraction than I do. His points are quite correct, of course. The 1970s did mark the effective end of the US Middle Class, and with it went the middle class expectation that things would improve, transportation would move people more quickly and cheaply, disease would become less common, energy would become more plentiful, food more nutritious, and so on. This was replaced with lower and upper class perceptions of a static society, and physical goals, such as increase in the reliability and decrease in the cost of electrical power were replaced by high order abstractions concerning sustainability. As Thiel points out, microelectronics were left almost unregulated, while everything else was very heavily regulated. I point out that computers were thought to be a form of population control back then, which may be why it was allowed to develop.

As a person who worked with engineering of physical things and with computer control of these things, I can say that Thiel actually understated his case. Even simple applications of computer science to simple manufacturing processes, such as backward chaining, were rejected out of hand, apparently for not being standard linear logic. Even very simple applications of existing techniques to new environments were, again, rejected out of hand, reasons not given. The way to success became demonstrating that innovation was not possible. In some cases, most notably the Biosphere affair, privately funded research equipment was confiscated on pretexts. Ignorance and lack of curiosity ruled, and still does.

I differ with Thiel concerning causes. Thiel refers to Marxist theory. I do not use that theory – I simply point out that the Western cities lost their economic base in the 1950s to containerization and distributed manufacturing. The political reaction to this loss diverted capital flow in the West from industrial use to support of the cities. In the US, this appeared as a series of municipal bankruptcies and the transfer of welfare funding to the US national government, which kept the cities reasonably solvent by welfare expenditures. As Thiel points out, the welfare payments were not intended to help welfare recipients, but rather to far more important members of the Federal coalition than the actual welfare recipients: the cities’ political organizations. Briefly, R&D and the Western industrial base were starved of capital and sacrificed to the viability of the cities. I should add that this era is now over – the cities have become ungovernable, and the resources to change that situation no longer exist. We (the entire West, probably the entire world) are in the situation of the USSR in the 1980s, which had also let its industry deteriorate so much that the USSR could no longer support its population [1].

Which brings us to your statement:

To arbitrate within and among technologies is the role of government, and so of course it will often be reluctant to change the status quo or make other disruptions. It will do so only if it believes the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages.

Surprisingly enough, I’m in agreement with most of that. I’d say “is a role of government”, but that’s just quibbling. Certainly, government has some responsibilities to arbitrate. We both agree that government will occasionally be reluctant to change [2]. However, “. It will do so only if it believes the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages.” must be elaborated to “. It will do so only if it believes the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages to government.” Governments think in terms of maintaining the coalition that keeps them in power (as it is called now) or “in office” as it was called before neo-Marxist terminology overtook political discourse [3]. Thiel would say that class changes force governmental rejection of belief in progress. I would say that the immediate need to support city political organizations was responsible. In any case, “progress” is gone. We now have attempted preservation of the status quo, which has devolved into stasis under the initial definition of “stasis” as a stalemated civil war.

PS: “. Probably there is a position paper by a team of experts somewhere that states that x number of lives can be saved by this measure, saving the country x number of dollars in medical expenses and lost tax income, thus justifying it.” That’s one of my specialties. I’ve never seen it done in government, and am fairly sure that it hasn’t been done this time. The Democrats killed such studies when they said that such studies must use a transfinite valuation for any human life considered. Somehow this doesn’t apply to the nursing home /COVID-19 slaughter in NY, but it does still apply to cost-benefit studies. After considerable time in the Federal bureaucracy, I can say that experts there decide almost nothing.

PPS: “Scientific birth control technologies are the foundation stone of feminism, and have put women in full control of their own fertility for the first time in history.” I was around back then, 1960s. Didn’t happen. Women have always had ways of controlling their fertility, usually ways they didn’t tell the men. What actually happened was that women lost their ability to say ‘I’m in trouble, you did it, we have to get married, do that and avoid a lot of trouble.” It’s one reason for all the single mothers, the other being Federal funding for single mothers. Women did not “get control of their fertility”, they already had it. What they did was lose control of the men, who started replying “That’s your problem, not mine”.

PPPS: Search Google and Youtube for “technological stagnation”. The search will turn up quite a bit. It’s a topic of general interest.

  107. Anonymous[339]: ” Your presentation is well crafted, and represents a fairly widespread opinion that, IMHO, was viable until maybe 2016.”

Hmm, not sure what to say to all this except that evidently you and I inhabit different universes. In my world, for example, there seems to be a consensus of expert opinion that mask-wearing is important. There are a few dissidents, true, but they’re keeping mum for the most part. If there isn’t such a cost-benefit analysis that justifies this position, there ought to be. After all, it’s the same rationale that was used to make wearing seat belts mandatory while driving a car, and wearing motorcycle helmets mandatory when riding a motorcycle, etc.

Also, in my world, inventions take place and are successful because they fill a need or satisfy a desire. Unless that were true of scientific birth control technologies, we wouldn’t have them, and women wouldn’t use them. If “women have always had ways of controlling their fertility” that were as effective as these sophisticated techniques, there would have been no need for them, and they wouldn’t use them. But they do use them, and use them extensively. There have been millions of children aborted, and many millions more prevented even from being conceived by hormonal birth control, IUDs, condoms, etc.

I’d add that you seem not to understand what I’m saying when talking about technological Progress. This is not entirely your fault, because there’s only so much that can be said in the short space of a forum comment. But if you look at my response #106, just above yours, you can clearly see I’m talking about this kind of Progress on a worldwide basis. As I understand you, you’re just asserting that technological Progress has stagnated in America, or perhaps the entire West. Whether that’s true or not, it certainly is the case that a technologically advanced society will defeat a technologically backward society when they encounter one another. So if America or the West stagnates or regresses, it only means that some other country or group of countries will capitalize on that and defeat it. Then it will be forced to accept the new techniques. That’s the why the problem is so difficult. To continue advancing a technological society must give constantly increasing power to experts; ultimately, it must give itself over to totalitarian control by an elite. This fate is unavoidable, because to abstain from technological Progress is just choosing to fail.

  108. I can’t walk on the sidewalk from all the young dead bodies everywhere. It breaks my heart when I see the babies. Folks, we’re all in this together and safer apart. Wear your masks. Social distance. Close your nonessential businesses. Do it for your Big Momma. Do it for your Poppa. Do it for the children! If we save just one baby, it will all be worth it.

In my world, for example, there seems to be a consensus of expert opinion that mask-wearing is important.

Mask-wearing isn’t about evidence or science. It’s now a political tribal marker. If you’re right-wing masks are bad because they’re communism. If you’re left-wing masks are good because right-wingers hate them.

The entire COVID-19 debate has long since ceased to be about evidence. If you’re right-wing COVID-19 doesn’t exist, it’s just a communist plot. If you’re left-wing COVID-19 is an existential threat because social control is good.

While the evidence probably does support mask-wearing nobody cares about evidence any more. The evidence also probably does support the idea that while COVID-19 is not the Black Death it’s much worse than the flu. But evidence is irrelevant.

We live in a post-scientific age.

  110. dfordoom: “We live in a post-scientific age.”

There’s this idea that science is, or at least should be, wholly separate from politics, but alas, it is not so. Man is a political animal, and everything he does also has a political aspect, and political ramifications. For example, Darwin expends a great deal ink in The Descent of Man on pondering whether to include negroes within the same species as ourselves. Ultimately, he does, and that was an act fraught with enormous political consequences.

Worship of expert opinion doesn’t mean that everyone must become a scientist and evaluate the evidence on his own. Still less does it mean that the people have lost respect for science. In fact, it means the opposite. When a society becomes as highly technological as ours, only expert opinion matters. Nobody who is not an expert on the topic in question is entitled to have an opinion that will be taken seriously. The technocratic elite is, in effect, a new nobility, above any criticism.

As to mask wearing, opponents of the practice who are themselves experts either don’t exist in large numbers, or they are remaining remarkably silent for reasons not immediately clear. Maybe they are intimidated, or maybe they are part of this giant international conspiracy too!

“ that is, of course, “freedom” is more important than staying alive?”

Yes indeed living free is more important than living like a slave unless you believe in the new normal.

Millions of people have died in wars thinking they are fighting for freedom when they actually died for the banksters’ greed with the latest attack against Colonel Gaddafi of Libya, a man who gave his people freedom from need in an unparalleled way, a case in point. Under Global capitalism, which has so little in common with free markets where bankruptcies for the high and mighty are always prevented in the name of too big to fail or too big to jail, while Main Street is left for its own devices with resulting bankruptcies from the COVID 19 rules, it is time that people defy the intrusive government agents, be they the police or governors, for the sake of preserving freedom for the laypeople.

What if Covid-19 doesn’t really exist, but eugenicist Bill Gates, nevertheless insists that we all need his fast tracked, hardly tested, highly experimental and totally free of all liability witches brew of a vaccine. But never let a good opportunity go to waste, so why don’t you volunteer and do the decent thing by rolling up your sleeve going first and making the great depopulator a happy man. Let us know how you go on, when you can.

Yeah, I’m agreeing or no, I’m disagreeing. What I really want to know is the best way to pick peas. To be more specific I would like to know whether one should pinch off the pea from where it grows and leave everything else intact, or should one cut off the whole little stem on which the pea grew? That is not a difficult question so if there are any gardeners out there I would very much like to know the answer. The best way to pick peas to make more peas grow on the same plant. So far I have learned that it is best to pick your peas as soon as possible to encourage the growth of more peas. Now I would like know the best place on the stem from which to pick them. Any reasonable answers appreciated.
