The hubris and arrogance of Washington have been at work since the Clinton regime to destroy the power and relevance of the United States. This website has an international audience. The most asked question from this audience is the world order. There is a realization that Washington’s control might weaken, a development people abroad see... Read More
Free speech and the ability to speak truth are being shut down. It is happening with the complicity of the print and TV media, the liberal/progressive/left, the US Department of Justice (sic), the law schools and bar associations, Congress, and the federal judiciary. The attack on Julian Assange is the arrow aimed at the heart... Read More
In order to protect himself from the military/security complex, President Trump has abandoned his intention of normalizing relations with Russia. Just as the neoconservative ideology needs US hegemony, the military/security complex needs an enemy to justify the $1,000 billion annual budget. The Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama regimes have crafted Russia into that enemy.... Read More
For too many decades the American people, by which I mean the people born and raised in the US in neighborhoods where there were family and neighbors who shared a culture, language, values, and history, have sat tolerantly while a tiny percentage of the population took away their culture by making it offensive to the... Radical feminists are now being banned by Twitter not because they hate men, which is perfectly OK as far as Twitter is concerned, but because they object to “transwomen.” What is a “transwoman?” As far as I can understand, a “transwoman” is a male with a penis who declares himself to be a women and... Julian Assange is not guilty of any crime. But Washington is going to convict him anyway. Documents are being fabricated to show that Assange met inside the Ecuadoran Embassy in London with Paul Manafort and some Russians. The logs of all visits to the Embassy have been released and show no such meetings. This latest... Read More
I am devastated. Tonight at 5pm central time I buried my wonderful, beloved male cat, Boy, in the Southeast corner of the garden near the camelias, a spot he enjoyed. Boy was murdered by the pharmaceutical industry. Both veterinarian hospitals and the homeopathic vet that helped me try to save Boy said that the mandated... Read More
In 2015 an organization called the Integrity Initiative was created “to counter disinformation and other forms of malign influence being conducted by states and sub-state actors seeking to interfere in democratic processes and to undermine public confidence in national political institutions.” As the only government that interferes in the internal affairs of other countries is... Ukrainian military ships have violated Russian restrictions in the Sea of Azov and Articles 19 and 21 of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. The Ukrainian Navy crossed the Russian sea border and entered a closed area of Russian territorial waters. Clearly, Washington was behind this as Ukraine would not undertake such... Read More
Justice has disappeared in the West. In Justice’s place stands Revenge. This fact is conclusively illustrated by Julian Assange’s ongoing eight year ordeal. For eight years Julian Assange’s life has been lived in a Kafka Police State. He has been incarcerated first under British house arrest and then in the Ecuadoran Embassy in London, despite... The porn lawyer Michael Avenatti has been arrested for beating his wife. In response to my short essay on November 9 ( https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2018/11/09/the-prevalence-of-myth-over-history/ ), a reader sent me a link to secession documents that implicated slavery, not the tariff, as the reason for Southern secession. It is typical for the uneducated to come across a document of which they have no understanding and to send it off... Read More
If you are a top ability student, but white, especially white male, you have scant chance of being admitted to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, Penn, Stanford, MIT, CalTech, Berkeley, or UCLA. Today (Nov. 9) I heard a black historian on NPR say that the “civil war” was fought in order to establish a framework for human rights. Readers are asking for my thoughts about the midterm elections. Looking at this CNN map—https://www.cnn.com/election/2018/results/house–it seems that except for thin areas of the northeast and west coasts and hispanic and black enclaves in the southwest and south, the country overwhelmingly voted Republican. In my opinion, flyover America voted Republican because the “deplorables” want to defend... Read More
I never cease to be amazed at the insouciance of Americans. Readers send me emails asking why I ever supported Trump when he was the Establishment’s candidate. I appreciate the numerous emails thanking me for providing an understandable explanation of the global warming scenario. The murder of Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi Arabian embassy in Turkey is unprecedented in its audacity. American feminists have finally broken the spirit of the American white heterosexual male. One of the reasons that truth is on the decline is that truth is becoming emotion-based, not evidence-based. It is all about feelings. A French Court Has Ordered A Psychiatric Exam Of Opposition Leader Marine Le Pen.
So Much for Western “democracy.” Nothing is less wecomed in the West than democracy. De Gaulle was not Washington-compliant, and Washington does not want another non-compliant French nationalist. Marine... Read More
