Polls have just closed in Alabama and Mississippi. Mitt Romney wanted to put it away tonight, and that’s not happening. Before the votes were counted, the Romney camp already seemed set on skipping an election-night address.

Romney has outspent Santorum and Gingrich 4 to 1.

Gingrich and Santorum officials have been sniping at each other all day to get out of the race.
