Last Friday, I interviewed Pamela Hall of Stop the Madrassa about the taxpayer-funded

Arabic school known as the “Khalil Gibran International Academy.” Video here in case you missed it.

Pamela mentioned her group’s efforts to shed light on the school’s curriculum and agenda through public information requests. The NYPost today reports on the latest info uncovered by the group:

Internships with Muslim lawyers, trips to the Middle East and community activism are the hallmarks of the city’s Arab-themed school scheduled to open this fall.

The controversial Khalil Gibran International Academy’s grant application for private funds says the school wants to produce “agents of change” and “ambassadors of peace” by focusing on the “complexity of Arab history and the diversity of Arab culture.”

Principal Dhabah “Debbie” Almontaser – who backtracked this week from comments condoning the “Intifada NYC” T-shirts that are sold by activists with ties to her – insists political dogma will not be on the curriculum.

More documents here.

Meantime, Pamela points to “The Islam Project” in our public schools, flagged by Brigitte Gabriel:

This is a project run by people like the convert Susan Douglass of the Council on Islamic Education and the Islamic Society of North America. They are very well organized and have been orchestrating this comprehensive educational plan for many years with great success. Douglass has been very active and effective in Islamicizing the curriculum and textbooks used in the California public schools, the largest textbook market in the country and a bellwether for the U.S. This is how programs like the required three week course on Islam for all California 7th graders get implemented.

Check out the extensive list of Islamist organizations working on this project under “Community Engagement.” It all looks very innocent and legitimate on the surface. They started in CA in the California public schools, the largest textbook market in the country — next comes TX; then NY. This must be monitored and stopped.

AllahPundit linked this last week, but it’s worth pointing to again:

Kids told to write ‘Allah is God’

ANGRY parents have blasted a teacher for telling ten-year-olds to copy a Muslim prayer saying “There is no God but Allah”.

Helen Green is said to have picked the Muslim call to prayer as HAND-WRITING practice.

It includes the lines “Allah is the greatest” and “I bear witness that there is no God but Allah”.

Pupil Billy Darbyshire’s stepmum Hayley Clayton said: “The explanation was that the children were learning about Islam in RE.

“But this was like he was taking an oath. A Muslim child would never be asked to write a Bible passage.
