My excellent comment moderator Rick Moran responds to nutroots accusations that is a “hate site” based on a few comments. Read the whole thing.

I second everything Rick says, and would add a few things:

If you’re going to get into it, the qualitative difference between blog comments on liberal blogs and my blogs is Grand Canyon-wide. A reminder: “Let’s sexually torture, rape, murder and dismember the Malkin family.” Just follow all the links in that post. Endless left-wing hate documented here and here and here.

Or go here or here .

Or just spend a little time mining comments threads at the top liberal blogs for fresh material. I’m sure it won’t be long before you trip on a C-word, racial slur, or threat. It’s par for the course:

Here. Here. Here. Here. Here. Here.

Hard to top this smear, though. And that was from a prominent left-wing blog. Not a comment. A blogger.

P.S. If you are not acquainted with my Terms of Use, go read them. That means you, nutroots trolls.

In defense of Hot Air, too, at Patterico’s.
