I wrote last week that the porkulus package couldn’t pass the Cheerios standard of truth-in-advertising.

But you know what the feds are really good at doing with the stimulus money? Spending it on promos.

Here are your “recovery” bucks at work…paying for ads hyping the stimulus to other government bureaucrats in D.C.

And via John Ruberry at Marathon Pundit, here’s a nifty road sign with the seal of approval. Writes John: “Sheesh, it’s bad enough that I have to pay for the stimulus bill, but why do I have to kick in for Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign?”
