There's been reports of a Ukrainian military buildup in the Donbass for several weeks now. The Saker, amongst others, has also reported on them, quoting a Telegram blogger who is claimed to have good sources in Kiev: My main reason for skepticism that the Ukrainians have serious aggressive intentions is that the Ukraine is still... One observation I've seen people make is that Elon Musk's industrial empire seems ultra-optimized for the distinctly non-commercial ambition of establishing a Mars colony: SpaceX for providing the reusable rockets to throw large payloads into space at much lower cost. Tesla to provide the batteries for Mars vehicles. Boring Company to dig out the tunnels... Read More
Navalny has released a video in which he has the gall to complain some more about the "Novichok" accelerated weight loss program and multiple rounds of beauty treatments that PUTLER! provided him with for absolutely free. But I just realized something rather more interesting and politically relevant. He has 4.3M subscribers on his YouTube. Dmitry... Read More
Here's the predictive record of a certain Russian "pundit" who is constantly quoted as an authority by Western hacks: 2013: "Putin system degenerating and will be swept away". 2016: Russians turn against Putin in 2017. 2016: Putin may be about to quit due to illness. 2017: "The last time I felt like this was at... So as the facts roll this entire affair seems to become more and more slapstick, as we now learn that #FentanylFloyd was OD'ing on multiple drugs including fentanyl and methamphetamine. Floyd was on 11ng/ml of fentanyl. That's apparently a lethal dose. He had also been infected with the coronavirus in April. Though apparently asymptomatic, this... Read More

As I keep saying, Russiagaters are perhaps the most hardcore Americanophobes on this planet. They believe that a few Russian shitpoasters on Twitter intimately control the political behavior of 330... Read More
This is so stupid, but I guess I need to address this sooner than later. There are 549,000 doctors in Russia. The suicide rate is 11.6/100,000 (Rosstat). So that's 64 expected suicides per year, or 16 in a three month period. Doctors are more educated than average, and less likely to binge drink. So perhaps... Read More
I am a blogger, thinker, and businessman in the SF Bay Area. I’m originally from Russia, spent many years in Britain, and studied at U.C. Berkeley.
One of my tenets is that ideologies tend to suck. As such, I hesitate about attaching labels to myself. That said, if it’s really necessary, I suppose “liberal-conservative neoreactionary” would be close enough.
Though I consider myself part of the Orthodox Church, my philosophy and spiritual views are more influenced by digital physics, Gnosticism, and Russian cosmism than anything specifically Judeo-Christian.
