Scientist and author Dean Radin, who has published many books on psi-related topics, discusses his new book Real Magic: Ancient Wisdom, Modern Science, and a Guide to the Secret Power of the Universe. First question: How can we “trust the science” when it simultaneously tells us that “magic works” (i.e. psi is real) and denigrates its own findings? Below is a rough transcript of the interview.

Kevin Barrett: Hi, I’m Kevin Barrett of Truth Jihad Radio saying that you don’t need to be a psychic to know that the commercial messages being beamed into your brain by advertising are extremely annoying. That’s why the advertising model for internet radio sucks. There’s got to be a better way. Well, there is. It’s called the subscription model. Please go to and subscribe by way of the “Subscribe at Substack” button.

Welcome to Truth Jihad Radio, the radio show that has no respect for the taboos that prevent us from trying to figure out the truth about all sorts of very important issues that aren’t being properly covered in the mainstream. I’m Kevin Barrett. We talk about politics a fair bit on this show, social issues a little bit, and occasionally even science. And we are now in a strange phase of cultural development in which we are being browbeaten to “trust the science.” Well, I trust the scientific process to a certain extent. It’s a good method for trying to figure out certain kinds of empirical things. But there are a lot of problems in the scientific community, and one of them is the reluctance to acknowledge the results of a very rich history of psi experimentation. I discovered this in high school by reading the Encyclopedia of Philosophy entry on ESP. I did some research and I was shocked that so many people know that things like telepathy and precognition exist, and yet the larger scientific community tends to deny it to a certain extent—even though science itself has proven it seven ways from Sunday.

And one of the world’s leading experts on all of this is Dean Radin. He’s the author of a long list of great books, including Super Nature and The Conscious Universe, which is a really good primer on these topics. He has a new book out called Real Magic, which I haven’t read yet, but I’m intending to. He’s been doing entangled photon experiments, among other things, and offering great commentary on his Twitter feed and website. So, hey, welcome Dean Radin. It’s great to have you back.

Dean Radin: Glad to be here, Kevin and my last name is pronounced “Raiden.”

Kevin Barrett: I’m sorry. I’m thinking of Paul Radin, the French anthropologist, and I guess I got the pronunciations confused. Are you of French ancestry?

Dean Radin: No, we’re probably a different family tree. I think my last name used to be Radinsky when my grandparents or one set of grandparents emigrated from Russia way back when.

Kevin Barrett: Oh, very interesting. Ok, well, I’ll try to keep that pronunciation straight. So Dean Radin…Here we are in a very strange cultural moment with a pandemic raging around us or maybe raging a little less than some pandemics in history have. The cultural issues around it are certainly raging. And the leitmotif “trust the science” is everywhere. Well, Dean, you do science, you’re a scientist. And yet you’ve noticed that the scientific community, when it gets into sort of a groupthink bubble, is often wrong. So we could start by hearing your thoughts about that.

  1. Funny how right at the end the big, brave prophet of open mindedness turns into a vaxx cuck.

“Not taking an experimental vaccine to prevent the spread of the sniffles” = “running a red light and killing dozens of pedestrians for my own selfish reasons.” Sad.

In fact he whiffs the whole question of political affiliation. “Republican governments have traditionally supported psi research” would come as a big surprise to the Soviets. “But ‘republican’ doesn’t mean what it used to mean” which I guess is dog whistle for “Never Trump!” Sad.

For a second, I thought he was going to notice that the Dissident Right is where awareness of psi power lives. As I’ve shown in a number of essays, Trump is a product of New Thought via Norman Vincent Peale (of course, Trump turned into a vaxx cuck too), just as Evola’s Magical Idealism provides the philosophical foundations he’s looking for. Jason Jorjani has written on National Socialism as the necessary social framework in a world where psi powers are admitted and studied, but I suppose he’s too radioactive for Radin to touch.

Kudos though for mentioning Bernardo Kastrup as he’s on the same wavelength.

  2. Two strikes against today’s orthodox, group-think scientists:

    1. They are ignorant or dismissive of the great psychical researchers of the past: Frederic Myers, Sir William Barrett, Henry and Eleanor Sidgwick, Sir Oliver Lodge, Camille Flammarion, James Hyslop, and many others. Modern narrow-minded scientists put a curse on a whole area of legitimate investigation and impressive evidence.

    2. They are ignorant or dismissive of the vast amount of research that calls into question the Covid narrative and offers disturbing data about the ineffectiveness of “the Jab” and its potentially harsh consequences.

There are a few shining lights among current scientists. Dean Radin is one.

  3. Here is the embodiment of the COVID-19 con expressed in a single image:

I’ve heard that “belief is the enemy of knowledge”. This is also true of disbelief.

The reason we are in this mess is because the majority of people refuse to believe that the controllers would ever do this to us.

I’ve tried and failed countless times to open their eyes to the truth of the situation – that the elites are evil incarnate, and that they want most of us dead, and that they want to enslave the rest of us.

If people still cannot see it given how obvious what is occurring has become, then I do not see how we have any hope of turning the tide on this.

The normies will just keep on complying and believing what’s being done to them is for the greater good while they drag themselves and the rest of us into totalitarianism.

“The more we do to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing it.”

Is Bernardo Kastrup really sympathetic to Evola, National Socialism, etc.?

And “National Socialism as the necessary social framework in a world where psi powers are admitted and studied” seems like a non-sequitur. What’s the link between National Socialism and psi?

Even as we speak, there are people who are running to have their third or fourth booster, even after being lied to that “the vaccine will end the pandemic”. They are beyond any understanding. They will be vaxxing themselves for 20 years and die thinking that a “vax passport” is “keeping them safe” to do the same things that they did before 2019 without any need of a “vaxx passport.”

I don’t understand that mentality, but apparently some people simply just believe whatever any authority figure says, even if it makes no sense. As Groucho said, “Will you believe me or your lying eyes”?

  6. Here is a headline from a typical leftist forum, “Democrats livid for all of the taunts Biden has had to endure form GOP because of his Covid policies.

Oh really, which taunts would those be? Would they be the taunts that blast Biden for causing thousands of nurses who did not want to take the vaccine and got their livihoods stolen from them to be fired by morons like Biden?. Does Branden know more about Covid than the nurses who work on the front lines? He isn’t blasted enough!! I haven’t even brought up the thousands upon thousands of other Americans whose life became a living hell because ot this fool and his democrat party sycophants..

  7. dimples says:

Magic works but it’s also potentially highly dangerous. It only takes one person who has developed mind control technology who is prepared to use it and it’s all over. That kind of enslavement is forever. Its why the persons asking about the possibility of psychic technology were told it would disappear down a black hole and never be seen again. Mr Radin, I think like many parapsychologists, is only used to the concept of small scale psychic events and does not think it through.

  8. @Dumbo

Point taken my friend. It would seem our fate is sealed as the lemmings pull us all over the cliff.

Great image by the way – sums up situation the with these NPCs nicely.

    Thanks for replying

  9. @Dr. Charles Fhandrich

[…] because o[f] this fool and his democrat party sycophants.

And what’s that other pack of puppets done to effectively push back?

You can count the principled GOPponents of the Establishment on the fingers of one latex glove, Doc. Don’t expect any of this to change via the next Most Important Election Ever.

  10. @James J O'Meara

Radin is a jewish surname, for what that’s worth.

  11. @Greta Handel

True. Unfortunately, you can’t count any principled democrats. It’s follow the leader all the way or else!!.

  12. I bought the book and here is my review:

This guy is a quack, a moron, and a shyster. He understands simple statistics but not even fundamental experimental design principles like how to select variables and control for them. I don’t see how someone like him can be so oblivious to all of the psychological principles that spoil his design by negating his controls, so I am just assuming he is another dishonest huckster paid to sell Luciferianism to the ignorant.

I started talking to the book like it was mystery science 3000 and I was hoping to be able to take it serious, or at least open minded enough to give it a chance. Save your money.
