First half hour: Dave Lindorff discusses “The US is Set to Make Nuclear War More Likely“:

“The US is about to move towards a far more likely first use of nuclear weapons, with word that the Air Force has ‘completed flight testing’ of the cost-and-performance-plagued F35A Lightning fighter, all units of which are being ‘upgraded’ to carry thermonuclear weapons.

“What this means, as explained in a new article in Popular Mechanics, is that the world’s most costly weapons program (at \$1.7 trillion), a fifth-generation fighter, supposedly ‘invisible’ to radar (that actually cannot fight and is not invisible to advanced radars), now has a new mission to justify its existence and continued production: dropping dial-able ‘tactical’ nuclear weapons that can be as small as 0.3 kilotons or up to 50 kilotons in explosive power…”

We also discuss Dave’s forthcoming documentary on nuclear spy Ted Hall, tentatively titled “Joan and Ted: The Teenager Who Saved the World.”

Second half hour: Jim Fetzer remembers patriot radio pioneer John Stadtmiller, the subject of my eulogy “RIP John Stadtmiller: He Sparked 9/11 Truth Movement—and Gave Me My Start in Radio.” We’ll also get an update on Jim’s website,, which has been down for several days, allegedly due to a copyright claim by Jim’s nemesis, Lenny Pozner.

  1. Yet another sign the world is on course for nuclear war, following the pattern of history – a warning repeatedly ignored – every empire eventually gets the war it is trying to avoid.

The post COVI-crisis heating up of a new cold war seems to keep justifying my decision to relocate to the Southern hemisphere.

It really seems that the US gerontocracy wants to take as much of the world down with them as they can. Sure, it isn’t unusual for US fighter jets to be rated capable of carrying nuclear payloads, but… most operational US fighter jets are products of the last Cold War…

I do suspect that the Narcissism of the Boomer left may lead them to try desperately to achieve that “end of history” they claimed to have accomplished in the 1990s.

Rest in peace John Stadtmiller. I miss listening to you on Republic Broadcasting Network. You were a true patriot.

  4. The Soviets are always given a pass, the US is the bad guy.
You never see any mainstream films (or very few) which show the evil which was going on in that country. All you hear is Nazi, Nazi, Nazi. US leadership was correct to keep the Soviets on the short lease.

Klaus Fuchs was a traitor along with so many others who never payed the ultimate price for their espionage. It will be the same way in the future with Jonathan Pollard, who is a hero in Israel.

The Cuban Missile Crisis spooked both JFK and Krushchev. The both realized that unless the more aggressive element in their governments calmed down that we would have nuclear war.

Daniel Ellsberg’s “Doomsday Machine” is a compelling read and as stated in the podcast will scare the crap out of you. But we should never forget the evil of the Soviets.

Thank you for your comment Katrinka. I too, am a longtime listener to RBN and will also miss John Stadtmiller. It is a double tagedy for RBN with long standing presenter Rick Adams also passing earlier this year.
